WorldConqueror
What? It's two clicks a day.Pay BillsCollect TaxDamn very tedious. I would assume he's talking about tech deals, which are a pain in the ass.
King Wally
I think it is interesting that the improvements are mutually exclusive. My main thinking.I find this game, as old as it is now provides something of a photocopy nation every step of the way, everyone at an medium to advanced level is so similar in build, with only warchest or tech-stockpile or moreso human activity level providing a point of difference.I think the game needs more exclusive divergent paths to take. The basic, offensive vs defensive lines are good, as are military vs economy, just set up more that cant be cycled from war to peace cycles and it could be interesting seeing eco builds vs war builds and so forth. All up its a theme I like. Unknown Smurf
What? It's two clicks a day. Pay Bills Collect Tax Damn very tedious. Well the problem is that learning the game takes a lot of time reading instructions and people just simply don't do that anymore. I mean like guides and whatever... very few alliances have updated guides and even if you do have them they are extremely long. Saxplayer
What? It's two clicks a day. Pay Bills Collect Tax Damn very tedious. What I'm saying is, it's often very tedious to learn how to Tech Deal, to get a Trade Circle, to even get accepted into some alliances, and many other things. Yes, those two things are simple and straight forward, but many things may not be so simple.
kalev60
For a small nation owner like me those 6 ones are again improvements for the bigger guys who fall down to my range and can murder me with those even better now. The deletion clause to collect only makes things worst for smaller nations struggling with slots to get Barracks, Guerrilla Camp and Factories up before conflicts. Also deleting them, then collecting even after 20 days during war, then rebuilding them after, deleting them, then collecting again after 20 days - I just will not have the funds do to that even if i haven't done no mistakes using my WC during the war. So dislike from me for a simpel reason: i can not afford to use them, i could only maybe use them for the first 20 days of a conflict after that they will become weapons against me. Caladin
You wouldn't need to delete them during a conflict; the deletion clause is that you cannot sell them without having collected on that day, not that you cannot collect with them in place. Ch33kY
At the moment, CN wars come down to who is active and who is inactive. This latest update is some attempt to give the inactive players a bit of a shield and the active players a sharper lunge for their attack. I don't think it has really added much and there is basically nothing here for new players/smaller nations. As for the crime rate, well...we're all just going to rely on someone in our alliance calculating mathematically the best options for our nation, so it's not like were really making any kind of moral choice with those government positions. Again, nothing that encourages greater activity and nothing that really helps new players/smaller nations. Saxplayer
Any comments on recent updates? Look pretty interesting, I think from what I can see the Casino will help out Smaller nations more than bigger ones
AngelCruzdelaSant
Newer nations don't have the improvement slot for it :p I don't like either the red light district or casino since small nations have other improvement priorities and larger nations will probably see little gain or possibly even harm
Charles the Tyrant
Going to echo what others have said. More paths of specialisation and for the love of all things holy implement something be it a wonder, improvement or even a trade resource that specifically helps the lower tier and/or the middle grow more efficiently. It's a meat grinder out there.
Darklink7748
I don't mind the new improvements, though I wish the offensive ones weren't linked to lead so heavily. Regarding the crime rate, I think it's an alright addition, but could do with some more fleshing out. More improvements and wonders that affect it would be a great expansion upon the concept. How one sets their positions and improvements is different at every level of infra, which is a nice change of pace, but more refinement would greatly improve the system. magicninja
Adds an interesting tactical angle during wartime so I'll reserve judgement until then.
