Captain Enema
"Legion request recognition and admittance into the General Assembly," requests a bespectacled older woman. She grabs a convenient chair, desk, shoos off a few bored looking interns, and sets her massive brief case down. It would seem Ms. Claudine Denard, elderly great aunt to Prime Minister Denard, sister of Mama Denard, has arrived. Montessori joins her with a fresh new contract in hand to assist Legion's ambassador to the United Nations, as he sits down he detects a certain aroma, of fried chicken. Evangeline Anovilis
"The people and government of Paraguay asks very affirmly that the UNSC immediately sends in a team to dismantle the nuclear weapons in Bolivia. We do not want these horrible weapons, and the local population does not either. They wish for this situation to be dealt with immediately and swiftly in order for them to return to normacy, or at least close to it. Thousands have fled in fear of military strikes and nuclear annihilation. They wish to be ruled by their freely elected governors and to be able to send thier children to school without fear of a nuclear accident or bomb/missle attack. The government of Paraguay strongly supports the UNSC to send in a team to dismantle and secure any nuclear material." State of Pando: Governor Honorato Pomar(PCS) State of Beni: Governor Veronica Antunez(NUIC) State of Santa Cruz: Governor Matias Dorantes(NRA) State of San Andres: Governor Estefany Cortez(NRA) UN Ambassador Silandra Lopez "Dai-Tōhoku would like to inquire as to what is going on in the Bolivian territory. The news we see are quite worrying and we would hope that every step is taken to ease the strain on the civil population. We would like to ask Tianxia, who was given the mandate to administer the territory for the time being, to please report on the situation. Additionally, we would argue that it be best to move the nuclear stockpile outside the country, to disarm it in a peaceful environment and to geographically seperate the unrest from the nuclear arsenal. Should the reports of Bolivian pro-independence movements be true, the Federation would suggest that instead of removing the current presence of UN forces, a state-building effort is undertaken, to create an independent Bolivian state that is stable and no longer a host for regional conflict." -Katsura Kaede, permanent representative of the Dai-Tōhoku Renpō OOC: Be reminded, this is disputed territory and all people RPed in it come from your force count. And as of this moment, I dispute Bolivia as a participant of the intervention and as it has not yet been settled for 14 days.
Triyun
"Tianxia is currently in the process of moving the missile programs and the nuclear programs out of country and moving the warheads to one of our national labratories for dissassembly. The Pacific Ocean though is rather big and many items are too heavy for air lift to state the obvious. In the mean time I think it would behoove the Bolivian state to be moved into a Pacific economic partnership with the Commonwealth and friendly Pacific Rim states to help jump start its economy and deepen integration with a major economic sphere. Political independence can come once the economy is stabilized, either as part of the Commonwealth or on its own entirely, but it shouldn't be a focal point for states in South America to fight over." Lord Zephyr
Should Tianxia require the Republica could help aid in the transportation of materials to Tianxia for dismantlement to speed the process. I think we'd all like this to be done and over with. As for the issue of Bolivian annexation by Paraguay, we believe that at the current time it would be inappropriate for Paraguay to take over Bolivia. Evangeline Anovilis
"The japanese nation of Dai-Tōhoku supports the suggestion of integrating the Bolivian territory economically into a trade association and economic cooperation with states along the Pacific Rim and would hope that by promoting peaceful economic growth in the area, the establishment of an autocratic and dangerous regime like the one of the United Republic will not be able to gain support again. We would personally hope to support the establishment of a programme to one day reestablish a free, democratic and peaceful Bolivian state again, as a functional system and a model case for future failed states that may need similar measures." -Katsura Kaede, permanent representative of the Dai-Tōhoku Renpō

Ian Smith
The North-Eastern part of the country, except Nyasaland (Malawi), is currently under control of the marxist-leninist militias of the Rhodesian National Union - Popular Front, therefore we will not be able to provide security in the aforementioned area of the country. RNU-PF completely ignores any convention or international law and we doubt that any UN peacekeeping mission will be respected and considered neutral. However in the rest of the country controlled by the Federal Government, Rhodesian Security Forces are still able to provide security and cooperate with peacekeepers to reach the population in need rescue and supplies. We discourage any venture north of the frontline due to heavy fighting and a general state of anarchy.((OOC: Feel free to use my Civil War thread to post peacekeepers RP)) Edited November 10, 2013 by Ian Smith
