Anu Drake
Can we finally change the tag at the end of NATO. It's been there for weeks, and it makes me violent. That's not an error. NATO officially changed its name to Now Anu Took Over Indefinitely. It was in all the papers.

HordeOfDoom
I know, I just wonder why people never say that and always emphasize the tax thing. Makes me wonder whether a person knows what they are talking about or are just parroting information they hear other people say, leading to more parroting. Parrots are badass; why do you think Pirates like them? Also, GPA is at 56% activity - it'll be painful when they finally do collect/update. They've already fallen below Atlantis both Score-wise and NS wise, btw. They'll be out of the top 12 soon Edited March 1, 2008 by HordeOfDoom

Anu Drake
wow. seem like GPA is falling slower than NADC when they got whooped. NADC fought back and collected their taxes. The vast majority of GPA nations have done neither, which keeps their NS firmly in place. Take for example WookieRaider, who went nuke rogue on 3 NATO nations. He's eaten some 10 nukes since then, dropped down to 2500 infra and zero military. But since he abandoned his nation 14 days ago, his NS has stayed at 29k. HordeOfDoom
In addition to what Anu said, GPA were also nearly 2x the size of NADC.

BamaBuc
tool sill isint sanctioned! We could have had it last audit if we had recruited, but we finally (although it took us a while) learned the lesson of "quality over quantity". We've allowed some 300 ghosts and inactive members to be deleted, which has boosted our ANS a lot. Sanction is overrated. -Bama

Andre27
Fark passed GGA in the overnight hoursFark 19.33 GGA 19.18 (must be the spoils of war) Military is just empty NS. Wait until you're done fighting a war. If the GGA would go to war time footing we'd grow several times as well. But even if you do pass us, you're welcome to it. BamaBuc
I don't know, most of the good recruiters had left by then, correct? New ones come and learn from the old. But it's a moot point, because if we recruit again, it will be on a small scale. Nothing like the one-point-a-day rushes of the old days. The masses of inactives and ghosts hurt us last time, and it could kill us if we did it on that scale again. It's a good way to jumpstart an alliance, but after a while, it's just not healthy. -Bama EDIT: lol my 1,666th post Edited March 2, 2008 by BamaBuc
