[/quote] I think at certain times it's nice for ones alliance to show it's appreciation and support to an ally or in this case allies, and have it witnessed by the planet. Also to show possibly ones looking to enter in defense of NpO what they will be getting themselves into. Now obviously a larger alliance who may enter on NpO's behalf would not look at us and be shaken for our mere size, but obviously the other alliances showing their support would have a much greater impact of fear. Along with, well in the case at hand, we would not be obligated to enter, since the optional aggressive part, but telling everyone we support it and will enter if asked. There is no such word as enquires That said, all of these DOS's are hampering the other sides balls for enterring, you have a treaty you shouldn't have to make a decleration you support your allies, that should be a given.
