  1. I use Podomatic for the podcast now. Doing a live show ends up costing money I don't have to spend. Podomatic has a free account that should suit your needs just fine. The only reason why I had to pay was because I uploaded so many shows at once and used up all my bandwidth. If you get in on the ground floor you should be all set.

Also, I will listen to this next week when I get back home. Any other support I can lend let me know.

As for recording calls, I use Skype and use an add in called call recorder to record the calls. Feasibly you should be able to have people call in to your shows without too much trouble. The way you want to set it up sounds like you are going to need to do a lot more editing than we have to do. Which isn't a bad thing if you have the software, patience and time.

45 mins to 1 hour is the golden time for a show. Anything longer and it loses it's appeal.

  2. I'm not complaining that you took a position against us -- I love nothing more than a well thought out rebuttal. I'm saying that your positions made no sense whatsoever.

I won't deny that I am a little conflicted and confused on where I stand. But there are a couple of things I threw in there that I classified as Plausible. Or just stating for the purpose of stating. There were other things that I posed as questions that other people are saying I believe. For instances: I brought up the CN Awards Poll and phrased it as a question and all of a sudden I fully support pre-emptions when that isn't what the case was.

I still say people need to listen better. :P

  3. Is there a separate site such as blogradio or talkshoe that these can be accessed at? I ask because I got a few friends wanting to listen to it as well, but can't/won't download.

I am thinking about setting up a podcast hosting account somewhere. I will get back to you on that one.

I try to be centrist. And I try to be reasonable. But I do have my biases and have never claimed otherwise. I try to be as fair as possible. Next show I am trying to get Cortath to join us so then the Pro-doomhouse crowd can complain.

  4. Well, I never said I take it all back. But I did say that I was more sympathetic to their cause. And I never said the STA/Polar protection of Pacifica was actually true. All I said was it was plausible.

And again, I said posting on both sides has been pretty terrible.

And to the people shooting down the CB...I don't think we discussed the CB in length at all so I do not know how you can glean that from this show.

Henry, I urge you to listen to it more, because as far as I am concerned Hawk won the debate with mpol. I will admit I let me history with everyone bleed through...but that is how I have always been.

Jesus Schattenman...were you actually listening to the content or were you just going into it hating the whole thing? I appreciate the critique...but jesus...you put more thought into that post than we put into the whole show.

  5. SO some time has elapsed since the initial start of all this, do you feel any different AirMe?

I am still not happy with the initial declaration or how many MK members seem to be painting this as an endgame scenario for them. However, the opposition, once again has deploy in a manner to avoid taking damage. I suppose that is strategically sound, but it is cowardly.

  6. While you are , in the coldest light of day, at least partially correct, you are smart enough to know, this coalition has teetered and tread carefully from day 1 concerning allies of allies and who can and should hit who, out of consideration and deference to varying treaty conflicts. And while your rationalization is not incorrect, it was a rather bad move ( and a move which your gov says , and I also believe, was an oversight and a mistake). If your gov acknowledges it as an oversight, it is disingenuous to lay blame at the feet of GR on this.

    Well said.

  7. Brother you have a long way to go

    Denial

    Anger

    Bargaining

    Depression

    Acceptance

Repeating "it's a setup" over and over again until you believe it to be true is a definition of insanity. If you can show me evidence that this was a setup instead of just saying it I am more likely to believe it.

  8. This was has been a set-up from the very beginning. From Day One anyone with a bit of commonsense could see that the NPO was the ultimate target.

The real question is: how many alliances were in on it?

I can't imagine that every alliance fighting against the NpO knew about this. I wonder how they feel knowing that their efforts so far have merely been a distraction from the real war; that they have merely been pawns in a game they didn't know they were playing.

So you are saying this is a setup? Really? How many wars in a row are we going to trot that theory out? I don't believe it was a setup. It definitely was a show of impatience from the Doomhouse alliances. And it cost them the good PR that they have enjoyed in the past. As Magical Trevor put it, wars are won on PR. Which is ironic given the DoW itself sapped what ever hope they had of gaining good PR out of the current situation. Up until now they had done relatively well at weathering the PR storm. This one, given their current posting styles and arrogant DoW is going to be one that is going to linger with them for a while.

It takes a long time to rebuild PR once you lose it. In many cases, you can never rebuild it.
