1. One of the more interesting treaties I've seen. Hopefully the forced period of war goes remarkably well for the good guys.
 2. All right, time to get back on track: Siberian Tiger Alliance 11 - Moralists.
 3.
He wasn't expelled, he left on his own to go rogue before I and others convinced him to return. Quite a nice series of surprises to stumble upon when I logged in for the first time that day. Whole thing was FUBAR.
That was when he went rogue against us isn't it? Those were fun times.
 4. I liked the Star Wars wordings of the treaty.
 5.
I respect your perseverance, good luck.
Ditto. Good luck rebuilding.
 6. Thanks to all the well-wishers, and of course congratulations to pezstar. Her years of distinction make her a great choice.
 7. Doesn't seem to be that big of a deal if the emergency backup treaty is still in effect. But if this results in VE having even *that* much less support in its next unnecessary war then it can be considered a good thing. No hails for anybody, though a couple of you in here could use a firing squad...
 8. Nice page count. Glad to see plenty of friends are still alive as well. Better luck at page four hundred Doomhouse.
 9.
All the votes for Pat Buchanan were a bit unsettling...
Haha. And of course, congratulations to the winners and best of luck to your alliance in these still troubled times.
 10. Any comment on the rumor that the elections were fraught with voting oddities and some (all?) of the elected officials were not born in GATO?
 11.
This is supposed to be a nation simulation buddy, nations can't actually drop into a peace mode to avoid war. The ability is generally not abused but it is here. I suppose we are just going to have to agree to disagree, mkay pal
If the attacking side has a problem with an allowed strategy they should completely discontinue their use of it before demanding through force of arms that their enemies do so.
 12.
So saying that sacrificing young nations for the reasons you list is alright is really no different than sacrificing young children for the same reasons.
I warned you yet you persisted. I have no further (allowable) responses for your line of reasoning.
 13.
lol the newbie has an interesting point and no what they are doing is creating a gamey situation that could never work in the real world which therefore makes them trolls and I don't like trolls. They should stand as a proud people should and simply surrender so as to preserve themselves and what remains of their honor or fight until the bitter end.
Last I checked surrendering meant submitting themselves to further destruction. And basing your opinions of our politics and tactics around here off some "real world" seems silly in the extreme. They
 14. Yeah, I've seen quite a bit of talk about warchest enlargement.
 15.
So by this logic you allow and encourage the use of child soldiers?
Don't be an idiot.
 16.
So what you're saying is that NPO would rather sustain higher damage than necessary just so they can point and laugh at DH, while complaining we're keeping them at war? And you think that's the smartest thing they could be doing?
Like I've said for some time: I think they are fighting a different war than you are. This may work out horribly for them, but that remains to be seen.
 17.
The way I figure it, leaving their (non-peaced) 'lower' NS nations to be torn apart while not providing them with any sort of reasonable aid is certainly playing to the strengths of Doomhouse (or any alliance really). So yeah, why change?
In this war NPO doesn't have ANY position of strength except the frustration caused by denying their enemies access to their peace mode nations. I'd rather hang onto that than give DH the satisfaction of having their petty demands in their petty unprovoked war met. As long as the rest of NPO is willing then it's a good move by NPO. Maybe the best they have at the moment.
 18.
Oh wow, I have been outta touch for a while lol. I thought the war was over. I must say that staying in peace mode is a rather cheap way to fight unless it is specific bank nations...Just fight if you think you can win or make an armistice if you can not. There, stop playing silly political games.
Yeah. Dumb NPO not paying to it's enemy's strengths. How dare they?!
 19. Wow. I don't think our side has a leg to strand on when discussing draconian terms any longer. Forcing GOONS to accept RV is about as bad as it gets.
 20.
I needed it clarified, mostly because I've heard that you were unconditionally keeping TPF out to protect them at the expense of your other allies and what you've just said.
You're only hearing what you want to hear. Fortunately you've been corrected yet again, so now you finally drop this bewildering line of reasoning. Assuming you decide to listen this time... Yes it's doubtful, but I am an optimist.
 21.
I already pointed out how NPO is different from other neutral alliances. Either argue my points or be obtuse. Judge X: There was never a day where we called off preemption.
Yeah so different they hadn't engaged in a war for how many years? You attacked them for their past while ignoring their present behavior and now you're paying for it in the form of an unsatisfactory war. It makes me smile. (See avatar on left)
