1.
While I don't care for Sparta overmuch, I can't see them forging this stuff on purpose. I'm sure they thought they had a genuine surrender. However, when I read T Hubb's statement, I read it as someone confirming they understood what was said. Are there other logs or something that made you guys think Legion was actually surrendering? Or is the idea that they surrendered just from that snippet?
A million times this. Until I see logs that are not just a 4 line snippet of a discussion of white peace, I'm inclined to believe Legion never surrendered.
2. Hahaha, haven't seen this much epic in 3 years.
3. A special congratulations to the German Empire is in order!

7. If look at the wiki like a previous poster stated, you can see that there hasn't really been a lack of large wars. We finished up the Karma War in July. There was about a year long gap between the Unjust and the War of the Coalition if I remember correctly. There's always the smattering of beat downs between the big conflicts which, setting aside half baked arguments, we just experienced recently. If you are in the right place at the right time, you could always get involved in one of those wars. If I had to guess, we are due for another big war this summer at the latest. Someone will have entirely too much time on their hands and may start some !@#$ before then I reckon. Anyway, I'll agree that the forums and alliances in general have become less "aggressive" over the past year or so. My theory on that is most of the outright warmongers have either left the game or have realized that playing it out smarter over a longer period of time, eventually culminating in a short burst of focused violence, would achieve their aims more effectively. That and a majority of the influential CN players have just older. They've been playing 2 to 4 years. When you get older you have to budget your time and deal a lot more with that pesky RL. Warmongering everyday isn't practical for some people anymore.
8. I briefly mentioned CN on yspilots and offered some game money to anyone who wanted to join. Didn't get any takers, but I didn't try all that hard either. Told my old GF about CN once and I got a weird look. Haven't mentioned it to any nonplayers in RL ever since. I suppose that could change though; I once considered writing a paper about CN.
9. May wanna reconsider doing an infra jump now.
10. This sums up my feelings on this situation. Yes, the CB is valid. But the actions that validate the casus belli occurred when TPF was already at war with the forces of Karma. In order for the CB to apply to the present conflict, evidence must be shown that TPF continued their spying operations after the peace terms ending the Karma War took affect. Or you could be dip!@#$s and say "TPF must prove they ended their operations." In my opinion they don't have to. Athens and company attacked TPF; the justification for said attack must be provided by Athens and company. The other point being brought up is that TPF never specifically declared war on Athens, so any actions conducted by TPF were not concluded by the peace treaty ending TPF's involvement in the Karma War. The level of communication that occurs between alliances on "one side" means to me that you're in a de facto state of war with all the other alliances on the opposite side, even if conflicting treaties do not allow you to declare war directly. None of this really matters anyway, because the troops appear to already be moving.
11. The two of you obviously weren't around for Blackwater's diplomacy during past rounds.

16. Per number 4 of the Cyber Nation Tournament Edition Terms and Conditions: Now I did my homework, and I read in this thread that as long as you had only a nation connected to one account it was ok. Since this would seem to contradict the Terms and Conditions, I would like to ask for clarification.
17. Voted yes. But to all the nuke lovers out there: uncapping global radiation could lead to the return of the negative stigma attached with nukes.
