In nearly all the treaty web discussions, very few (except the insanely extreme few) have actually attempted to discuss "zero treaties" as being a definition of 'no one can be allied to anyone' .. But really more so against the documented treaties known as the Treaty Web. Such an environment as you are here noting Kashmir to reside in is more what most of us have attempted to suggest (NSO is an alliance you will find proudly, strongly and firmly beside Kashmir for any and all reasons between our alliances in an undocumented relationship). But people tend to go all Chicken Little about their treaties thinking the suggestion is to remove all relationships.

With the current climate as-is, you can predict exactly which fringe alliance can/will do so. Part of the intrigue paperless relationships offer. Surprise, as OP point 4 notes. In response to Holton, yes - the relationships will still exist; but the point I'm taking out of my interpretation of the OP is that the activity and such comes from alliances having to actually maintain those relationships. Not just sign a piece of paper and then have infrequent and inconsistent activity with each other till such time the treaty is needed [or broke; or cancelled]. Where some discord may come about or various reasons. People may choose to break those, yes, but that doesn't mean they'll get off scot-free. At least, not if the other involved alliance is active and vocal about the transgression. Brings back a level of debatable politics to the world - and a different angle to politiks. 'Verbal paperless agreements' - I like the way Eviljak words it.

Current nation: Nation Created: 12/19/2010 7:41:40 PM (1,886 days old) First roll was October 2006. Took a short hiatus to RL issues during what was the Karma era. Only played two nations, but technically I've had 3 - I rerolled one for different resources (before the ability to change was available).

I don't like the greens that come up in some parts [such as 'View New Content'], but I do love the dark theme finally. Always prefer the dark themes on any forum I visit. Thanks Admin team. o/

Without looking at every nation individually, all it takes is logging in and logging out if they don't like what they see and don't want to deal with it ... Simply sticking a one day number out there saying 'look! Success!' doesn't paint the entire picture. It only takes a fraction of a second to be logged in to be considered active, don't even have to pay bills or click anything beyond the nation's home screen. Again, not to say it's a pure lie - but your "we're #13" doesn't completely cover it.
