It's impossible for me not to read this sarcastically.

This is an impossible task. Your organization is shit and your members either A) don't follow orders or B) your leadership is incompetent. It's no wonder the battlefield has treated you so poorly. Even the fucking King declared early. Get your shit together before you try and claim people are underestimating you, it's embarrassing.
-
Well I guess that kind of makes sense. But ironically Disney appears to be doing quite well with the new Star Wars movies. I'm almost excited after a terrible year of nervousness.
-
I suppose. Check a nation screen before you make a fucking fool of yourself killjoy.
-
Has he been in LPH? Nope. The fuck are you even babbling about?
-
Sugar Rush War as about the most pathetic name ever. OuO or OoO are great. As is about any other name in comparison. The Dilber's Fault War gets my vote.
-
Yeah the Disney one sucks. I mean is Polar supposed to be Disney? So you acquired NSO because you like them and want to work together? And who are the characters? Are those actual Disney characters wielding lightsabers... like they're fans of Star Wars and thus NSO? I don't understand. Otherwise solid work, especially from d34th as usual.

I for one was nervous. Good to see Os still there. Congrats guys.

New Polar Order Declaration of War
Letterkenny replied to Dajobo's topic in Alliance Announcements (IC)
This was a very pleasing sentence to read, well done. I also agree with the statement but that's almost beside the point. -

An Announcement from The Order of the Paradox
Letterkenny replied to Centurius's topic in Alliance Announcements (IC)
It might have been ballsy a while ago, and I would have made fun of it/ we would have called attention to it, but does it really shock anyone? If NSO had attacking Polar first would anyone have been surprised/ outraged? There's war going on - may their nations glow brighter than ours. Fuck Polar, roll the realpolitik filth of TOP, etc. I honestly still don't get that. -

The Napalm In The Morning Accords Part Duex

Au contraire, sticking your dick in a watermelon is not advisable man, don't try it. Bad news. Seeds get stuck and that peel - well, you get the idea. -
Yeah there are certainly exceptions. I was nowhere near the center of activity through Karma, but was plenty involved in the war itself once it escalated. That was a fascinating time period to "live" through here. Indeed, you nailed it in that last sentence. That applies to anything, really. I love 60s-70s rock more than any genre of music and I/my friends consider it to be greatest time period in history with regards to music. But that, of course, is cherry picking music like Country Joe, Cream, Zeppelin, Hendrix, and a few others and not regarding some of the truly terrible music/ styles that emerged back then. Perspective is everything. Bringing it back to CN: If you think there needs to be a revolution or you're unhappy with the situation you're in, change it! If Solis or RIA or Kashmir or __ isn't doing it for you or you think there's some kind of radical change needed, it's probably a change you yourself can make. And if you can't make yourself happy on Planet Bob... the hell are you doing here?
-
This reads as "I don't understand CN politics and just want to motivate other people to do shit." You want a revolution, fucking start one. Plenty of others have in this game, you just didn't live through it, haven't looked at the archives, or don't know what revolution means. You simply weren't a part of former revolutions and don't like what they resulted in. Tough shit. You think NPO eased into top dog for those years? You think TOP just gradually moved up the rankings? You think Vox wasn't a revolution? What was Karma? That was all people doing shit, starting things, ending things, accomplishing things. If you don't like the fact they were successful, become successful yourself. Become better. At the risk of being completely cliche: be the change you wish to see in CN. This illustrates your ignorance again. What is declining, exactly? What makes this time period different or worse than any time period before? Sure, some people prefer the "good ol' days" of '07 when wars were Great, or \m/ was around, or perhaps Vox and the morality wars were your glory days. But the present never looks as glamorous as history until it too is written about as "long ago." What the actual fuck is this. Number two is the definition of politics and every single alliance participates in the treaty web one way or another. "Powers that be" aren't controlling everything hence negating the term from applying to the AAs you claim they apply to. What you're looking for is "big, efficient, well established alliances," not "powers that be." Number three - every AA has a philosophy or creed they follow. Is it driving people away? Really? Because people still join every day, find a community they jive with, and stick around. Since I joined Kashmir several months back I've seen a handful of new members with no prior CN experience become solid members of the community - active on the forums, IRC, and actually don't suck in game. Personally, I enjoy the present system of things. I'm a member of the best AA there is, having the most fun I've had since I created my first nation in 08, and thoroughly enjoy spending time with our friends in Java and Sith and Doom Squad. Knock your socks off with this revolution of which you can't even define. Lastly, in all seriousness, start following the Path of Rebel Virginia. He is the way. Praise be RV.
-
As predicted, the execution of this scheme has fallen flat. Although I do applaud the 20% effort you put into it; I liked that you picked AAs of a certain size and caliber that would have made for interesting wars.
-
Fair enough. Though I would bet very few are praising former AAs if they left of their own accord.
-
To be fair, I was the one "shit talking" - in jest - to our friends in NSO and to Hereno, a guy I respect a lot. It's a seriously rough, time consuming path getting up to the rank of Sith Lord (or the equiv. in any AA, I'm sure). Congrats to Hereno for attaining such. I doubt Holton was actually shit talking or deserving of a very serious business reply from TOP, though I'm not surprised he received one anyway.

This is actually really good advice. The correct answer is #cnkashmir of course.

Oh my fucking god, you didn't make Hereno a Sith Lord...

Kashmir is the revolution.

A majority Kashmir circle needs a couple nations to fill holes in a TC. It's a standard 3BR, all current members are active forum posters and solid dudes. If you're interested, post a link here or message me. You should be able to switch color/ resources pronto.
