  1. Congratulations and good luck to the suave gentlemen in the tuxedos.
  2. No offense taken, I'm sure. Obviously we look askance at some of your treaties, and wholeheartedly endorse and support others of yours, such as TLR, GATO, TPF, and now ODN. It never was an issue to work towards better relations, regardless of whatever the treaty web tries to pin an alliance into. That being said, our relationship with Umbrella is that of our ally, and despite vitriol to the contrary we consider our friendships very seriously as well..as this last war evidently has shown. While we are well aware that is questionable to some, the actions of many here remain questionable, but this is certainly not the forum for their expression. As such, hail to both NPO and ODN. We are happy for our friends in Orangelandia, and look forward to hopefully better discussions with NPO; regardless of lingering concerns, it just is good taste to know friends of your friends on an amicable level. Congratulations to Pacifica as well....ODN are good people to call friends.
  3. The hunt for the elusive Stratephor. Fin. EDIT: Damn, beat me to the punch!
  4. We like to sit in the center and feel warm and fuzzy with all the affirmation to our fragile ego.
  5. Congratulations to our friends in Umbrella.
  6. Love you too, brah! *fist pound* Funny enough, I concur with you.
  7. I keep trying to get out and the @#$%ers keep bringing me back in.
  8. You are busy hoarding all the tech in preparation for the final blitz during Ragnarok; the Neutrals will sweep down from their abode and seek to wipe clean the slate of Bob. You are the instrument of admin, held in check for the proper time to come forth and destroy all alliances. It is only our short-sighted nature that we do not recognize the threat you all truly are prior to the Great Reset occurring.
  9. According to CNTel apparently we're already merging into ODN and GATO, so I guess it would be redundant. Obviously he just beat us to the punch.
  10. We live on forever, tell you who you are, and speak with the voice of James Earl Jones. Again, thank you for the compliment.
  11. I'm cool with us being Mufasa, to be honest. Thanks for the compliment.
  12. To answer your question, I bring you a brilliant analysis of the reasons from one of our members: " Its not really just that though, the vast majority of people in this game simply cannot take any kind of negative attitude directed at them. They talk to each over in embassy's and on IRC like a bunch of sycophants and when someone comes along and actually says what they mean then its like the worst possible thing has happened ever. That's what this war is about, defending man children from having mean things said about them." I honestly can't think of a better answer. This war should be the War of Hurt Feelings.
  13. Not going to go into detail, but a hottie with lots of dudes fighting for her has all sorts of bad connotations you might not want to be identified with, heh.
  14. I appreciate that we look like we have a most excellent mohawk thing going on.
  15. Ok....I'll bite. For someone relatively new to this game and not having seen this happen before...please explain to me why this is a particular issue? What is the purpose of senators if they aren't used for anything exactly? Additionally, given the desire to ZI and generally wreck nations/alliances in this game, why is this considered in bad taste? I am curious when this became an issue for people during the game, as I understand the move away post-Karma from things like EZi and the like, but this seems a bit strange to be hurt over. I mean, it's not as if our side isn't already projected as the incarnation of what is wrong in this game. Having changed the rules of warfare with "one for all" etc. as your party why is this even an issue?
  16. I suppose it's ok for you to do it, but I think the OP is saying that you are woefully inefficient even if we had done so.
  17. Concur. Obviously the answer is simple: We must nuke Neutral Heaven and bring down the tyranny of the infra bankers who truly control this world.
  18. Was there a particular purpose to this thread? Bear in mind I appreciate the read and the effort put into it....no sarcasm intended in that. The argument though seems to be somewhat lost given the source it is coming from. We are well aware of how this war could possibly go, and how it has run the way it has. Speaking for a lower tier perspective, your numbers haven't meant as much when they are not properly harnessed and are used in a semi-lackadaisical fashion. All the power in the world doesn't help if you can't have it focused correctly. Second, you are talking to essentially two camps: the people who are on your side and trying your theory out as praxis, and the opposition...who have little to no reason to believe you (or indeed trust your intentions). The proof of it will be how the war ends. As someone else put it before....Equilibrium is a host of different alliances and agendas that are running against a set of opponents who have every reason to be banding together. The issues of morale are wildly different, and those are far more useful to the general membership than a series of graphs and numbers. Beliefs matter. Equilibrium has numbers and a multitude of different rationales for fight. Competence has one: perseverance. As you might expect, we have all the more willpower to fight due to the siege mentality Equilibrium has created. It's that morale that will define the 'lower tiers' because...even if I don't rank anywhere near the people playing for years in the upper tiers, I can be happy with their victories because it represents keeping those who despise us further away from the cakewalk they expected walking into this. And I am happy to support them, and when time comes to jump out and go back to fight, well @#$%, sounds like a fine plan to me. We'll see if you can show more focus in the later stages of the war than you have in the beginning, because most of us already lost the majority of what we have and consequently, have very little to fear from your aggression.
  19. Well it's Quality vs Quantity for a reason.
  20. Not to the degree on a single alliance, but whatever makes you feel better.
  21. How else do people construct their world besides personal anecdotes and wildly unjustified conjectures?
