Oh that's right, it didn't happen to have anything to do with Dilber promising you a place in 1v so you guys could plot your vendetta against Polar, nah that's not how it was
Yeah, sure thing. As if "our vendetta" weren't possible without 1V.
The other difference being that MK was the lead alliance in CnG, whereas MCXA was always a horrible alliance and even the rest of BLEU knew it. Additionally, MK didn't leave CnG because NPO was offering them a prime-fellating position.
Yes, as because we were such a horrible alliance and everyone knew it, Polar was so upset about our departure. Grow up Cheyenne.
 2.
This is actually parodyig the moments of BLEU when MCXA left. When Sponge said BLEU was just find and as strong as ever, such a statement was made. Now that MK left CnG, I just wanted to use it too.
When MCXA left BLEU, it collapsed not because MCXA left it, but because the lapdog alliances finally decided forever and till the end lick whatever came out of Sponge. It's not they didn't have the choice. Spongebob knew that he would get the bills for his actions, but instead of admitting it, he again tried to weasel his way out lying. I think the situation is different here.
 3.
An excellent point. It's so evil and hegemonic, it's almost NPO-like.
From all people involved an ODNer is speaking up...hilarious. Why wasn't ODN invited into the bloc? I thought you are so amazingly awesome super fantastic lapdogs???
 4. Reading Umbrellas posts in the thread I hardly believe MK will stay "treatyless" for a long time. The "we can be friends without treaties" argumentation might be valid, but then again, there is hardly a reason to cancel all treaties with your "friends" (and keep them as friends without any disadvantages in the relationship) unless your sole intention is to create worthless e-paper on these boards. In the end, if what Umbrella suggests is true, MK will have old friends 2nd class, and new friends first class. Congrats ODN You again pulled the loser card.
 5.
No, I'm talking as a person right now, not the member of an alliance. My comment has zero political undertones relating to this game. I deal with fact patterns where it is necessary to determine if an offense took place literally every single day, and here the victims story does not add up. The harassing act he claims is only harmful if read by others. Therefore, if someone were to do such an act using a tool like an anonymous proxy that enables them to remain free of consequence, they would not do it in a forum that is unused. It goes against the nature of the act hes claiming took place. Furthermore, false victims almost always assert that the action in question took place in a venue which only they are privy, as it gives them full control over the story at hand. When you consider that only he knows whether or not someone has actually been trying to do this combined with the fact that it defies the nature of the act to attempt this type of harassment in an area with almost zero population, common sense leads one to believe that his story has no merit. As for a motive of frustration, there are far easier and less risky ways to frustrate someone without pushing the bounds of legality. It's counter intuitive, verging on ridiculous even, to think someone would go through all the trouble of getting his arrest records only to post them where they would only be seen by him to whom they belong, simply so they can make him a little pissy.
In my opinion, it does add up. While the story itself is, and I agree with that, unlikely, I know that in many cases of juvenile crime, (in which the crime is planned, included computer crime) the delinquency of teenagers knows borders. Especially out of frustration it is easy to proclaim "the crime", more difficult to prepare "the crime" but most difficult to actually do it. I think it is a realistic possibility that in this case the person wanted to actually announce it on a public forum, but then got afraid of the consequences, and searched for a middle way, which would be increasing pressure on M by only showing it to him. And then again, you don't know how difficult it was to get the information. You claimed it must be hard to gain these information. Usually, I'd agree. It is hard to get such information, but if this happened, I am sure, for the person who posted them, it was rather easy. I am not sure about the U.S. but in Germany it is logged when someone searches for the crime records of persons. So, if I were you, I'd go to the police, and hope that the U.S. police doesn't use systems from 30 years ago. That said, for searching these information at least your RL name needs to be known. So, unless someone hacked your computer, it must be a person who you trusted. (if it happened) I wouldn't automatically call him a lier, just because the story doesn't add up for you. That's too easy.
 6.
Guys Ihave seen the future. October first will be the Casper vs. UPN war. Though really good on you guys. It will be easier to run a gov for an alliance with only a few people.
A guy a few posts above made the same joke. Way to be creative, copycat. And before arguing I'd actually try to figure out how many caspers UPN "owns"?
 7.
You're so vain, you probably think this song is about you... Amazingly enough, this thread is about marking a landmark. Your entertaining "contest" just gives a nice backdrop. I'm glad you guys are around to provide the CN community with your cunning commentary and sharp data analysis skills.
Sorry MK, but their propaganda is better than your propaganda.
 8.
You of all people should know me better than than to use a 'your clan' definition .. Of any Viridian - as much as I used to refer to even Impero as one of my best friends (past tense) - (you) have known/understood/supported/refuted/etc anything we've ever talked about on a personal level of the course of the Entente. Except within these threads. And if that's a quote to somehow involve Symphony. Then you best PM me quick - because I have a few choice words I won't hold back any longer. Not if you backstabbing !@#$%*es in VE want to continue slandering me even while I've made every attempt to diverse myself from you. Personal politics have no play here - and I'll gladly put any AA aside if you want to make it as such. You're selling the entire Entente short over the actions of the current 'Good Ol Boys Club' ... While I agree with it to the current persuasion, it's not the full case.
I know Rayvon even longer than Egore. And listening to his posts makes me believing RV. Keep it going^^
 9.
No one is untouchable. If we fail to act, out of fear, we have lost ourselves.
That's what you want to believe. And at the same time far from the truth.
 10.
At this point, the treaty is canceled, the cancellation period is over with, the bonds that existed between NPO and GATO are cut. What could the NPO possibly gain from sending a former Emperor into #gato to try to slander Omni? Most people in the room were more concerned with Moo's poor form than whatever Omni said in that brief snippet of logs.
Moo isn't really slandering him. He'd slander him, if the logs were faked, or if he added something insulting to it. But he is simply copy-/pasting a statement. Every reader can draw own conclusions...that these conclusions might be something like "GATO sucks", isn't Moo's fault but Omni's.
 11.
I donnuo I'm gov in an alliance that actually gets incoming members peace before picking them up and getting into wars, I think that alone puts me above your current home. So no, not a self evident statement. My alliance solves problems before they blow up into something to get us attacked, your alliance provokes run of the mill FA disputes into issues that get them rolled, who's the bloody moron in this case? I know you might be a wee bit bitter, but the bias is showing.
For escalating a conflict you always need two. Because if the fellow were accepted by a "untouchable" alliance, ROK would have tried harder.
 12. It's not that they are hostages. They can found a new IRC channel and call it cn-facepunch, or even #wehateupnforhavingourircchannelname, and even make a PR-joke out of it. Whatever, let's not quarrel over an IRC name, that's kinda pathetic...
 13. RV for Superhero. Also, I am starting to like this....
 14.
To be fair, at least we peaced out with \m/.
As Minister of Peace you should re-read Polar's propaganda line...
 15. Honestly Matthew, where is the problem with simply telling them the terms? What's the reason behind the unconditional surrender?
 16.
Perhaps we're interested in more than victory.
winner. Do you want to be the first alliance on the winning side paying reps? Or do you want to be the first alliance on the winning side disbanding?
 17.
There is no reason why IRON/DAWN shouldn't at the very least demand reps for the extra damage done to them by this joke of a policy if they manage to win the front.
I agree. But Ramirus won't stop fighting since his ego doesn't allow surrendering. So, in the end, there won't be much left of Grämlins that is able to pay tech.
 18. Silence - I like them. I think we have fought them in the past war, but they haven't filled many slots. So 5. NATO - Like them 7 Global Order of Darkness - I can't say I know many of them. 5 We Are Perth Army - 3 Global Democratic Alliance - I started to like them and they are around forever. 6 World Federation - N/A Argent - meh. 5 The Phoenix Federation - 6 Genesis - Weren't that impressive during the war, but still cool - 6 Imperial Assault Alliance - I like Anderan. 5 Regnum Invictorum - Never heard of them New Sith Order - My opinion of them has improved. The hype is over, and the true and loyal Members, like Heft, stayed there. (unlike Cheyenne )7 The Resistance - N/A Asgaard - N/A Goon Order of Oppression, Negligence and Sadism - meh. 5 Greenland Republic - They have been quiet lately so there isn't much I can say about them - 5 Phoenix Rising - N/A AGW Overlords - N/A Ubercon - N/A Carpe Diem - N/A iFOK - 4, they appear to be a little arrogant lately. Coalition of Christian Countries - 2, never liked them Monos Archein - 5 Valhalla - 6 United Commonwealth of Nations - Big mouth, little action. 3 The United Front - N/A Green Old Party - N/A Fellowship of Elite Allied Republics -N/A Union of Integrated National Entities - N/A \m/ - 3, too much bling for my taste. It seems they try to imitate the old m. With new leaders you'll always get a new atmosphere and new ideals. I wouldn't try to copy the old version too much. Order of the Black Rose - 2 Echelon - 7, It's quite impressive that although they had troubles raising after the Karma war they still did it. Ronin - 8 Cool fighters, good people. I really enjoyed them. The German Empire - 0 I have little respect for them cause of the stunt they pulled on TFD during the Karma war. They seem to be unstable and inactive. The Corporation - N/A Seaworthy Liberian Cardboard Boxes - N/A The Sweet Oblivion - I like it that many people hate us, although they have no clue about who we are and where we come from. It's a hype, and we don't really mind it. I don't get what Damsky is trying to tell the world though. I don't think he knows what we are or what we want to be. Grand Global Alliance - They have improved. As much as Brookbank hates me, he's done a decent job recently. Federation of Allied Republics N/A Gondor N/A
 19.
With the experience Crymson has with running alliances into the ground, I find his input on the matter exquisitely hilarious.
Crymson has been in TOP since I know him, and that's probably before you even started being a Ruler on this planet. TOP was the #1 alliance in the game, they have [OOC]a great community[/OOC], and I am sure they aren't at the bottom at the moment. They have many dedicated Members, and I am quite certain they'll raise again.... I don't see how that is running alliances into the ground. But yeah, keep being ignorant.
 20.
At the VERY least, the notion that IRONs war was a rogue or criminal act, is debatable. It is not outwardly false. Their war against CnG was NOT in any way, shape, or form, a defense of, or an assistance to, NSO. That entire notion is patently absurd. On planet Bob, the definition of criminal is always evolving. There is no widely prevailing definition. Support what they are doing, or not, they are fully entitled to view IRONs acts as criminal in relationship to accepted standards on Bob (much like the world rallied to paint Athens raid on Ni! as criminal due to the standards of the planet) for entry into wars. IRON faced no imminent threat, held no treaty obligating them to attack GRE's friends. Yet they did. It is fine to not support their war. I too, would like to see them just let it end. It is not, however, wrong for them to view the act as criminal, and for them to determine what they themselves deem to be a just punishment. It is, in fact, blatant hypocrisy on MANY of IRONs allies to now claim that GRE has no place to dole out whatever punishment they see fit to IRON, because the aggrieved parties (CnG) have already agreed to a satisfactory end. It was not that long ago, that you all posted your declarations of war, based partly on tacitly "supporting NpO's war on \m/ in defense of community standards, stemming MOSTLY from the \m/, GOONs, and PC raids. Despite the fact that aggrieved party in THAT case(FOA, I believe it was?) had already been afforded acceptable compensation. I suppose its yet another double-standard played in the political arena, to further your cause.
Rush, I am missing the difference between Grämlins and IRON's actions. Grämlins, with their paperless warring (I have said before, I don't want to argue whether they entered aggressive or defensive, because I see both sides, it's depending on your definition of the two terms.) have reasoned their military interference with helping out their friends. I know that this was also our reason to go to war and as far as I know that was IRONs, too. Now, you could call that a rogue act, I call it a sovereign and legit move of an alliance, and if Grämlins say that IRON and DAWN are terrorists for entering the conflict, by this logic, they have to consider themselves as criminals and terrorists as well.
 21.
It seems someone recently leaked this gem from the Gramlins onto Pastebin. Enclosed are what appear to be messages from the Gramlins government to their membership; the messages relate to the current situation. Wow @ the second one. Just wow. Certainly worth a read.
This is hilarious. Instead of admitting their wrongs and failures, the Grämlins' government admits utter incompetence IRON are terrorists and criminals? Because they supported NSO in a war? That makes them criminals? Your own government doesn't even talk to you about the peace terms? So you fight, and don't even know what for? Hilarious.
 22.
We were defending C&G against IRON's aggression. Thus, it was defensive.
Well, that's true. You were defending them. (I mean, you can argue the paperless thing, I don't want to..) however, the war is over, CnG quit, your.CB.EXPIRED. And since you now refuse any peace negotiations without an unconditional surrender, against the will of the people you were fighting for you started a completely new aggressive conflict.
Bring on the personal and irrelevant attacks.
I have had my disagreements with Janova in the past, (not so much nowdays, I miss the good old times...)I don't think he has ever acted unreasonable or insulting.
Ok, dude, let's just assume you are right. Unconditional surrender is super humiliating. We're trying to humiliate IRON worse than anyone has ever been humiliated before. There. Unconditional surrender is not a peace term. Peace (maybe) comes later. Thus, it doesn't even fall under the codex. It's like you aren't even paying attention. Find a new argument, please.
1. No assumption necessary. Unconditional surrender means that you can control a slave alliance, and do with the "slave" whatever you want. It is humiliating. Period. 2. It is a peace term, because it is a term that needs to be fullfilled in order to get peace. In my book, that is a peace term. 3. I like his argument.
You don't even know what the peace terms are. So what do you have to complain about? Ya, assuming your (a random OWF'er) interpretation of the charter is more relevant than mine (DC). It sure is.
1. NO U! 2. I think it has been mentioned before. He has been one of the biggest thinkers in Grämlins, and certainly was one of the authors of all of their main policies. I am a random poster, he is not.
How many times do I have to say this? You are not in the alliance. Nah uh. And we still reserve the right to defend all of our friends. At any rate, I'm growing tired of your e-lawyering. It's getting old. So this is my last response to you.
How about you go and ask Ramirus for new arguments?
It was a little convoluted but I got "We are retarded because we are ridiculous." Or was it "we are ridiculous because we are retarted"? But it must be true because everyone agrees on it, amirite? Because we are obviously just being opportunists right now. You guys better watch out because this unconditional surrender thing is about to launch us to world dominance.
If your terms aren't that bad, you can very well present them.
Just a little bit I saw and thought I'd add in on. I've seen quite a few IRON members mention something about how they are winning and are doing more damage to us. I've even seen a quote floated about something along the lines that they will 'crush us'. So surely that could be seen as a threat to us if they are going to 'crush us'?
They see you as a threat because you don't want to give them peace. Of course you are a threat, I mean you are at war with them...can there be a greater threat for an alliance? What is your point? Because we are at war with IRON; IRON is a threat, thus we need to keep them at war to eliminate the threat? Another possibility would be to end the war, that would eliminate the threat, too. You have enough enemies at it is, at the moment, don't worry.
 23.
I'm sorry if MHA does not feel the same as we do about this situation. And if they decide that we are currently going to a place that does not satisfy their own standards, then I will have to respect their decision not to follow along. However, Gre has settled on a course of action that it believes to be right and justified, and we will not be dissuaded. Not by this mob. Not by our friends. Not by anyone.
The reason why this "mob" exists, is because we don't understand your course of action. We don't understand why you refuse to give peace to IRON although your CB has expired. We don't understand, why you want them to surrender unconditionally before even presenting the terms, for us, it doesn't make sense that you don't play with open cards. Maybe, there is a reasonable explanation that is perfectly logical and just, but so far, I haven't seen it. Why don't you enlighten us? Why is Ramirus too shy to post in this thread? And let's face it. You make it look like it's a decision supported by all Grämlins Members, and that is, definitely not the case, otherwise you wouldn't lose that many Members.
 24.
I keep hearing that Ramirus is not allowing Gramlin members to leave during this war, yet each day or so we see more of your alliance leaving. Matthew, would you care to enlighten us as to how that's possible if Ramirus isn't "allowing it"?
I think it's quite obvious. They don't have the resources for hitting a 190k. And they don't want to lose the stats. I doubt any of top Grämlins nations would actually following the order to hit over such a thing.
For some reason I highly doubt this. I would seriously stop posting if I were you.
I love you.
You heard it here first. kerschbs would be afraid of the mob if he weren't safely ensconced within it.
Usually I'd agree. But this time, even Members of MHA claim that their loved, eternal-treaty partner is wrong. That made me rethink my theory that the crowd is always wrong I mean, if you don't like it, I heard IRON and DAWN are still open for negotiations. Of course, this could change if you keep losing Members and they realize that there might be a chance for victory...
 25.
Good thing it isn't true.
So you are accusing two MHA Members of lying? After all they are your closest allies... Someone got blinded by Ram-propaganda. Take a break and drink a cup of honesty, that might get you back to reality. And if Ramirus is in the right, then he can come in this thread and explain his actions. I wonder why he doesn't do it. I mean, Grämlins have a long and outstanding history of being very honest on the OWF, and it has always been very appreciated.
