1.
I stand by the use of the ITAO reference. Perhaps someone should make them a wiki pages if they are confused by it. Either way, We won that war!
Challenge accepted. Calling dibs. I'll post the archived thread we have of the starting night of that adventure when City of London and I spent the wee hours of the morning and a late night for me planning and executing the response.
 2. ITAO will burn for their utter failure to cooperate diplomatically and for showing no respect to our good friends in TFD. /interesting historical note - if memory serves correctly MHA provided a few slot fills against ITAO when we launched Operation Glasgow
 3. Poaching members. That can lead to war... /good fight
 4.
If you consider the current state of Planet Bob interesting then there really isn't any hope for you. FAN isn't the power it once was. I think that's fairly obvious. While we don't have the physical strength we once had at least we still have our balls. If we did have the strength I would seek to kill every last one of you and break every convention that people hold so dear. But we don't and our attempts to find anyone that isn't content just existing that has that kind of stroke came up empty. At this point all we can do is wait until enough of your die off from the pathetic nature of your existence. As the population of the planet decreases, we get stronger. All we have to do is be patient. Something we are very good at.
This sounds a lot like the things NATO has been saying to itself recently. Glad we are fighting a fitting match. We're in this for a while I think. Good that we can keep it a business type relationship. Also, Perc., don't be that guy.
 5.
So...the long and short of it is NATO is bored and decided that since they don't want to declare on someone randomly, they'll just blow up their own infrastructure for the lulz? In what way could this possibly be considered a good idea?
It's fun to skirmish with friends, there's no nukes involved and we get to up our casualty numbers. There's more to life than infrastructure. This is the first time in at least a year I've been up at reset doing nation related things and in IRC. Nostalgically enjoyable.
 6. Amazing. I don't know whether to laugh or laugh until I pass out. Love you, NADC.
 7. DK, do you tell kids going in to see Harry Potter movies how magic isn't real and that the Easter bunny is just a metaphorical construct representing the rebirth of life and the procession of seasons? Having fun is supposed to be, you know, fun. Now I can't post my rebuttal about the fact that DevZero changed the SG voting numbers on the last day to give him his 3 vote win? Or how he deleted my campaign posts and tricked everyone by posting an election statement saying neither of us were campaigning because we 'respect' each other and would both be participating regardless of the vote? Or how he posted the TFD disband rumor on CNtel just so he could attempt a hostile takeover? Cho Chang is sad now.
 8. Welcome Rampage, may the odds be ever in your favor.
 9. Needs more Emperor Dilber or RV. But at least they are there to help. Best wishes, Rayvon. edit: I can spell
 10. What would be even more useful is an IRC news summary for the world forum.
 11.
So you do care? That's nothing to be ashamed over.
This is true. I know because I care.
 12.
I thought this was a joke.
It is. Damsky is a joke.
 13.
It's an Anu, great to see you man!
Good to see you back in the universe. I'm only a ghost now.
 14.
This made me want to 'make up' a riddle. Can anyone guess it? The Alliance that gets it doesn't need it. The Alliance that needs it doesn't get it. The enemy that recieves it doesn't know it.
Social Security? Interesting tangent about two black holes merging though. Relativity would suggest that a meeting would produce an extraordinary amount of gamma radiation, depending on their velocities and angle of trajectory. Given the proper circumstances, the more massive body would flare in intensity as it absorbs a certain amount of the smaller one, while flinging the remaining mass of the victim on a violent and extremely fast journey far away from the collision point. The discarded 'victim' body would leave a trail of energy so intense that it would spawn a cycle of major star formation in its wake. The collision would also eject the now much more massive body from its previous location slightly, whether that be the center of the galaxy or not. Eventually it would return in a few million years to its original position. Given the comparison to this treaty, I don't feel it is apropos. This is more of a dual body of roughly equivalent mass settling in to a stable yet slightly eccentric orbit around a center point. Outside influences may someday cause a more direct collision and explosive event, but for now it is merely a nice grouping.
 15.
Not only is this deluded, as regards the driving out of NATO by Ragnarok, it is potentially embarrassing to credit your choice of allies and sides as a reaction to an alliance who really does not wish to have much to do with you.. for .. oh i dunno, ever since they left. NATO and RoK maintained a MDP+ treaty for a long time even after the whole CDT thing, and guess what, they are allied again [after a fashion] so i am pretty sure you wont find many takers for the whole "driving NATO out of CDT" canard you keep raising every 6 months or so.
Haflinger, you know I love you. But you're just not correct and Alfred has this right. Anyone in NATO back in those days knew we had already made the decision to leave CDT prior to VanHoo saying that RoK was leaving. They were leaving because CDT was viewed as a 'NATO bloc' at that time. We hadn't yet shared our decision, which was based partly on the same concern that VH had. I talked to him, shared our intention and asked that they stay in and give it a little while to see if our departure changed that perception. What happened after that I can't attest to personally, but RoK had no bearing on our decision to leave CDT. /bygones, all of it. Back on topic, I like you SF, you're not like all the other blocs, here in the trailer park.
 16.
Nothing would be much different, as it doesn't happen too often. Also, reaching a milestone for the second time doesn't count.
Aye, but reaching a milestone for a 7th time is a pretty noteworthy achievement. Like the seventh time NATO passed 3 million (and hopefully last). Congratulations Nemhauser, you've done a great job reaching new heights.
 17. "Have fun at prom you two, but remember, someday my little 'un's gonna look just like me. If she looses some of her body hair. Enjoy that!"
 18. Good to see the image treaty still alive and kicking. Whoever started that was a genius. Congrats to NG, good friends you have found with NoR.
 19.
So you find it laughable that I call you a bad poster than admit to previously stating that you are a bad poster?
Let's be clear. This is a bad poster: The rest of this is just amusing.
 20.
I knew it!!! I knew the Royal Guard of NATO was not just some fancy knights for show it was a long developed plan by Anu and Lenny to overthrow our democracy and take us back to the monarchy era...lol
Yep, the best plans take 3 years to fully develop. We have another one to go, so enjoy your 'freedom'.
 21. Who are these people? Get off my lawn.
 22. Here's to hoping Olympus has mercy on you. They shouldn't, but they are one of the more reasonable groups around so you might get some. All in all, should have let it go.
 23. Scruffy fully supports.
