  1. Chris, this thread is MEANINGLES and makes NO SENSE unless you create a simple poll: a) I know Chris Kaos b) I know Kevlar c) I know Chris Kaos and Kevlar d) I don't know any of them. It's so simple...
  2. It is quite awesome that some people has been in the Alliance for 11 years.
  3. 11 !!! That's cool. Do you still have a few members who have been Pacifians during these 11 years?
  4. I hate the NPO... ... but 10 years is really a HUGE accomplishment!!! So congratulations, a 10 years anniversary ain't a small thing. Well done! :nuke: And after this peaceful message of congratulations I'm going back to my usual state of not liking you again :war:
  5. 9) The Fantasy Role Play section of the forum. Each time I accidentally click on a thread posted on that section of the forum and I start reading it, I can't avoid feeling a WTF sensation that remains in my brain for some 3 or 4 hours.
  6. We are the woooooooorld We are the childreeeeeeeeen We are the ones who make a brighter daaaaaaaaaay Try to sing that one... you may have some more luck.
  7. The awkward moment when you spend an hour creating an amazing propaganda war image against Pacifica... just to come to the forums and find out that the war is over. Couldn't you all have waited just one more hour as to let me post the image????    Other than that... congratulations on peace everyone. :P
  8. ... or review different brands of dog food explaining the nuances of their taste and pick a favorite.
  9. I want you to compose a song, sing it and post it. (like Sir Paul does). The subject of the song has to be discussed.
  10. I nominate the high tier of the NPO as a whole for being the best example of peaceful nations. LOL, that was a joke! I nominate Jerdge. With Jerdge it is possible to have conversations like: -I hate the GPA!!!!! -Thank you for the constructive criticism. -And I think you are a fool!!!! -I don't agree, but I respect your opinion. -And all of your posts are horrible. -I will do my best to improve. You know, it's like trying to make a Buddha get mad at you... you simply can't do it, it doesn't matter how hard you try, it won't happen. I nominate Jerdge because he's as neutral as it gets. A true neutral among the neutrals.
  11. Alliance seniority: 2,578 Days... Old enough to recognize the crocodile tears of Pacifica. (And I'm not very familiar with MI6... so I don't really get the reference or joke. My only contact with them has been a brief talk with his leader during this war, I found him cool... but I don't know much about MI6 actually). Click on the thumb to see the top 80 Nations of Pacifica. Do you notice some sort of mysterious pattern there? Hint: look at the doves on the right. Another image... the top 80 nations of Polar. Do you notice the red stars on the right? ... It's as simply as that. And the crocodile tears of Pacifica won't change the simple facts.... And the passionate speech of the Emperor of Pacifica isn't making those doves go away. The terms... they will.
  12. Seeing the crocodile tears of Pacifica? No, I can't pretend that I'm blind and I don't see their crocodile tears. It is not my fault that they decided that their high tier nations were simply going to spend the war in Peace Mode and then get white peace. I can't be blind and ignore the cynism in the words of Farrin Xies & Red. Yeah, I got that they want to get out of this war with their "banks" untouched... it's not going to happen. If it's not war, then it's the terms that will touch them.
  13. May he rest in peace. And if he had true friends here, which is very likely, remember that friendship doesn't finish with death. Some of my best friends are dead, but they still visit me very often with nice words of advice and sometimes with a funny joke. No, I'm not talking about ghosts, not even about something supernatural... but about something very simple and natural. May he visit you often and remember him with a smile.
  14. Frustration when you find out that you are trying to fight a war against an Alliance that hides in Peace Mode? That's what has been coming to anyone fighting Pacifica. Besides from Sir Paul's terrible voice   :gag:
  15. I was asked by a member of Non Grata to include this graphic here! :smug: (It was actually more related to the "Franz Ferdinand affaire" than to the war... but it may become war propaganda!). :war: :war: :war: :war:
  16. The protests about this secrecy affair are getting out of control. Non Grata has to explain to the OWF what happened... or face the consequences.
  17. CITIZENS OF BOB UNITE IN MASSIVE PROTEST AGAINST NON GRATA'S SECRECY AND LACK OF DEBATE: Planet Bob - December 31st, 2013. Protests were mounting in Planet Bob's Tuesday against a controversial expulsion that would give Non Grata's Triumvir far broader powers in deciding what constitutes an Alliance secret, and severely punish those who ask for information. Thousands of demonstrators have hit the streets to register their anger at the lack of explanations, which comes amid worldwide debate over the Triumvir's secrecy in the wake of the Franz Ferdinand affair. A rally was scheduled for Monday evening in Planet Bob, after organizers said several thousand people turned out to protest Sunday's night at a thread in the OWF. Under the new policy of Non Grata's Triumvirate, information related to defense, diplomacy, expulsions, counter-intelligence and counter-terrorism will all be classified as secret, while Trimvirate members can decide what information to keep from the OWF. Critics argue that Non Grata's policy could mean far more information would be kept from the public, with little oversight. Earlier Sunday, activists in the thread staged a sit-in protest, holding banners that read; “We Oppose Non Grata's Legislation for Protection of Special Secrets”. More rallies are planned for the forthcoming year. The legislation is aimed at plugging Non Grata's notoriously leaky bureaucracy after years of complaints from allies from other Alliances. Steve Buscemi has passionately argued that the secrecy and lack of public information is necessary in order for Non Grata to freely exchange sensitive intelligence with the NPO and the Siths in order to boost national defense, but most of the OWF's media have slammed Buscemi's policy as an overreach, saying it would threaten freedom of the press. “We have pointed out that the secrecy of Non Grata's expulsions are vaguely defined and too broad,” the influential Planet Bob's daily said in an editorial Friday. It added that there was a “sense of mistrust” towards Non Grata's Triumvir who appeared to be expelling Franz Ferdinand with a minimum of debate. The conservative Tywin Lannister, however, argued the legislation was necessary to defend Non Grata's reputation and called on Franz Ferdinand to better explain his expulsion by himself. Meanwhile, protestors in the streets of Bob argued that the protests won't stop until Non Grata's Triumvir accepts and open and honest Q&A with the whole of the OWF.
  18. O.K... what has he done???? I'm sending you a PM as to get the anwer. EDIT: PM requesting information sent!
  19. La Marx. Your essay is wrong in so many ways... But this quote shows the main error, the main missunderstanding you have. FALSE BELIEFS BY LA MARX: 1-Alliances are ruled by a pyramid scheme that follows a Gerontocracy of Powerful Nations: False: A typical Alliance, I will use the NpO as an example, is ruled by: a) An Emperor: Nobody votes for him, but we have procedures to remove the emperor... and they have been used in the past durng and emergency. b) 4 Ministers (economics, military organization, foreign relations... abd internal organization of the Alliance). Thry are appointed by the Emperor. c) 4 Deputy Ministers, one for each area. They are voted. It is NOT unusual to see new players getting votes and charges there... they have to work had in other areas and show that they have done a good job (i.e, asking ti be the Sargeant of a Branch of the Polar Army... working with the ministers to keep up to date the war threads... helping with organizing tech deals for other nations... helping to rebuild broken trade circles... or writting for the "Polar Press"... of becoming diplomat for another Alliance). d) Workers with jobs as described below. e) Lurkers with no jobs (I'm one of them... and I'm 2,548 days old in Polaris.) You have fantasies which are unrealistic. There is a hierarchy... which has NOTHING to do with money or tech. 2) Having lots of money makes you influential False: a) Being involved with politics makes you influential.... On the other hand, being experienced may make a BIG difference. To be experienced you have to work. If you do it fine, you can be a deputy minister after, say, 2 months. b) The Emperor of the Order never needed a "Big" nation to be the Emperor... The NpO has several good examples: Ivan Moldavi: founder of not one, but three big Alliances (NPO, NpO, NSO)... his own nation has always been quite small... and I do remember he spent a long time in bill lock some time ago. RandomInterrupt: another former Emperor of the NpO... his nation: 982.03 infraestructure. 8 technology. 0 national wonders. His nation was mostly like that when he was the Emperor. I have 4,474.70 infra, 3,894.67 tech and ALL the possible wonders. This may mean that I am more influential than Random... well, no, that's not the case. 3) Having lots of money, infra and tech makes you more powerful False... even from a military point of view. You need a warchest, of course.... but you fight with nations in your range during wars. That's also FALSE for Alliances as a whole... CN works in blocks of Alliances.... so your power or lack of power depends a bit on the size of your Alliance, but it's by far more dependant of who are your Allies and how good you are negotiationg. 4) Nobody helps the little and new nations False... nobody receives MORE help than the small nations during wars. And during times of peace, there's always programs to give them FREE money to help them buy wonders (at least it's like that in the NpO, but we are not the exception). Having a big nation myself... I never received "free tech"... but the small nations receive "free money" quite often.
  20. Oh well... at least it's not Sir Paul singing another song! Having said such thing, this DOW is probably another strange trick of the secret illuminati shadow government of the Mushroom Kingdom. o/ The Future
