If someone gets raided and manages to turn the fight around to the point where the raider is losing, if the raidee has the power to make things worse for the raider they certainly can demand reps. Now, if someone got tech raided and responded by nuking the aggressor's entire alliance, I would call that undue force, but fighting back against the raider is just common sense, and that's what most raiders want to get out of the exchange anyhow. War is, after all, fun.

If you have a method of destroying your opponent's economy (OOC: Provided it is through in-game means and not breaking the terms of service, of course) then it is a completely legitimate war tactic, period. I find this entire thread crass and offensive. Where, in all of this, is \m/? We have to have picked up at least a few dozen points just in the past two months. EDIT: Also, I found a few you missed... NPO gets one for their forcing of a Viceroy on Legion after purplegate, another one for forcing Legion to give Valhalla !@#$%* terms in UJW, and Valhalla gets at least five for ever allowing noWedge to have any amount of power anywhere ever.

It goes without saying that you should never go back to that forum, of course. Try to find out from the forum provider if they can give you the IP addresses of the hacker(s), or perhaps from any of the other sites where your account got hacked. Even if it seems hopeless, report it to the authorities now anyways so there is a file on the problem just in case the hacker DOES start using all of your financial info. Get in touch with your banks and credit providers to let them know to start looking out for people using your information and whatnot. Pretty much, the more people you let know about a potential identity theft before it gets bad, the more you can alleviate the damage it will cause. Also, you might catch the guy too. It's really a shame that happened, I wish you the best in getting this dealt with.

As far as I've known over the past couple years, there has never been precedent at all for attacking an alliance because they acted like tools on the forum. And that's even stretching the extent of how C&G was acting. So, no, TOP had absolutely no justification for their actions, and don't try to pretend they did.

I may not agree with you on, well, anything, but this decision was an honorable one and you made it despite not necessarily wanting to.
