1.
We all know Olympus will control Anarchy Inc. ¬_¬
Well, it'd certainly be in your best interests for Olympus to control Anarchy Inc.
 2. d'oh Olympus, but you were one of the good ones! Good luck on your alliance with BAPS gobbled up, Pansy
 3. To the moralists: Why is this war any different from, say, War of the Coalition? Other than the fact that, I guess, MK (the hegemon) initiated the war, this is basically starting a war for the simple reason of starting the war, replacing MK with Val/TOP/GGA and SF/XX for the Polar groupings. Why is this war any different from TOP/IRON v. Polar? That war was done simply to roll Polar (geez, this seems to be a trend here). And furthermore, how exactly are alliances like IRON, TIO, TPF (d34th's own ally), GATO, The Brain, etc's actions are any different from what NPO has done? They're fighting for their allies, plain and simple. That's coalition warfare. You all are just whining out of your ass because MK has the power to do things, while SF has enough enemies to merit a lot of alliances to jump in against them. That's just the way it goes, folks. although I will say the comparison with Bobby J is pretty funny
 4.
You're right. Xiphosis wanted to cast them into permanent war to ensure they were never relevant again. He repeatedly demanded assurances prior to DH-NPO that DH would go all the way. NPO is aware of its own relationship with GOD and doesn't need you trying to reconstruct it as somehow better than the deliberate efforts of the Kingdom to end our historic rivalry. As for NPO steamrolling us... the Kingdom has dedicated itself to putting its past with Pacifica in the past. If they choose to resurrect it, that is their choice, for all the good and ill it will bring them. I do not fear Pacifica. That said, I can think of no better punishment for our present rivals and their incessant whining than to step aside and let the tyranny of the past return to rule over them. The thought of deliberately letting them be in charge again is tempting, but as a retired man, I'm free to entertain such wild thoughts. My pomp isn't the only think you appreciate about me.
I've always thought that giving people a taste of their own medicine is the best recipe for revenge. Who is down for a VietGOD?
You are literally the Bob Ilyani of the International
RoK's worst decision ever was removing Bob and Joe from power.
 5. I will say this: I congratulate VE for being one of the few alliances on both sides not to hide a big bulk of their nations in PM. Now to put Baltus on the throne next..
 6. I was tempted to just post lyrics to Sweet and Tender Hooligan, but I'll spare you (until the next time) and wish you good luck ghost busting.
 7. The Brain... Life's Transmission... dance dance dance to The Brain
 8.
He's just pointing out what everyone is thinking to be fair. No one really expects Umbrella to try and hit NPO... it would be Umbrella's death move... it's just interesting to see the explanation they make for it. Reality is right now Umbrella couldn't hit NPO even if they wanted to, they simply need them on side now no matter what. And that my friends is quite an interesting development from this war if nothing else.

I don't have to try at all, Umbrella does the legwork on these jokes :v
It's just trying to goad them into war, and it's not working. VE doesn't want it, and NPO/TPF don't have much of an upper tier anyways so it's pretty pointless.
 9.
So I hear NPO has nations in your range.
you're trying too hard.
 10. Enjoy all the remaining targets you can find TPF, I'm sure you'll have a grand time
 11.
I'm not hypocrite, I'll criticize those who use the excuse of "defend allies" to support and enable MK actions (like your alliance did and that's why you are upset with me, since I don't remember you calling me a hypocrite when I supported NPO against DH aggression and wasted my time doing propaganda to support NPO) and I'll criticize those who having allies in both sides chose to the defend the ones who are in the bigger(Like HB did) and probably winning side than stay neutral or defend those who really need to be defended while I'll praise alliances who even having the chance to avoid a curbstomp will do suicidal chargers and defend their allies who are in really need like NATO and VE and if you knew me you would know that is really hard to support VE mainly after what they did against Polaris, but I do support them because they (this time) ran in defense of those who probably are going to lose and I respect that. Now you are welcome to search my posts in the last 5 years and if you find one where I'm being against what I said above I'll happily accept the hypocrisy insult, until there you are just posting like 99% of OWF who get angry with me when I tell the hurtful truth. Edit: Oh and while searching the posts remember that while everybody was pretending to be white knights in karma fighting the evil NPO I were doing pepsi/coke sigs about the hypocrisy of the movement who resulted in MK becoming what they are today. I don't support alliances, I support an idea and that isn't my fault if in the last 2(3?) years the same alliances are in the opposite side of my principles. Also remember that I used to criticize MK moves even when they were still Polar allies, so your argument of that I'm biased is also flawed.
So basically you confirmed his point. It's not about each of the individual alliance's actions viewed in context, it's whoever opposes MK is awesome, and whoever happens to end up on MK's side is the root of all evil. As for this cancellation, it's quite sad (but necessary) to see, liking both alliances quite a bit.
 12. It was good knowing you, VE... no not really. Kick some ass IRON
 13. Quite an enviable position you find yourself in, TIO. 6 mil and rolling VE, couldn't have it any better! o/ the Orders
 14.
Congratulations Int on acquiring a fine ally. Who'd have thought we'd see the day CnG and TPF were allied?
you're a month or two too late, sleepy Varianz . This is an upgrade.
 15.
Banksy is on my ignore list Banksy deserves to be there
Who likes Banksy these days anyways?
 16.
NSO went to brown because it wanted to unify the color around them with a solid base of allies on one they thought they had a good chance of gaining a lot of influence on, however when the other main brown alliance turned out not to be an ally to NSO, it was easier for NSO to just move off the color with the few allies they had there rather than trying to maintain any sway they had over part of the brown sphere. If GATO and NSO remained allies, I'm pretty sure NSO would of considered it they had enough influence on brown to make it worth staying. However when being on brown wasn't helping build up a unified ally base there like they had hoped for and all they had were junk trades to show for being on brown, that's when it wasn't worth it anymore. A lot of people had high exceptions of GATO and were let down, so I think many were disappointed in GATO even if most don't consider it something worth holding a grudge over.
Sure a lot of NSO had disappointment in GATO, a feeling that basically consists of pure apathy at present (although I do like GATO's new-found 'bridge dwelling' squad). Sure, not being allied to GATO made switching colors easier. But it really was the death of Silence that brought us to start considering a switch to another sphere, since Brown had basically died out. And who knows what would've happened to the NSO-GATO treaty absent either the Omni drop or the 6-mil war - our FAs were quite contradictory by that point.
 17.
I know the alliance (NSO - MDoAP) who didn't switch sides when TOP came in or suddenly bail on the war didn't like what you guys did. You disregarded one ally because you found your ties with those attacking TOP more convenient to honor, which eventually led to that treaty being dropped and NSO not even sticking around on the same color as you guys.
yeah that was not what really happened. 1) GATO never entered onto Polar's coalition in the first place 2) the treaty was non-chaining, whereas TOP directly attacked ODN/Athens which WAS mandatory 3) the treaty was dropped by Omni, something that pretty much all GATOans disagree with how it went about 4) NSO left Brown because it was small and trades were incredibly hard to find (Silence, COIN, Rome and 57th had all disbanded), whereas we had allies and ex-allies on white, not to dis GATO. Sure, there were some grumblings during BiPolar (which dwarfed our anger against Grub) and after Omni cancelled the treaty (which mostly subsided when Omni joined a month later), but NSO for the most part does not hold any beef against GATO.. 'cept for Griff.
 18. Gotta love the D34th sigs... especially the grammar mistake in it Also I love the incessant bawwing by SF in this thread. It means you're doing something right HB.
 19.
Ya think? Does call to question the whole motive for continuing the war, but then it's more likely than not going to continue under its own steam for a while.
Yeah, if MK does decide to suddenly peace out, that'd basically be akin to Grub pulling the rug from everyone else who was a part of his coalition.
 20.
There is one alliance we care about in your entire coalition. We have no care for helping you get out of the beating you've earned.
You do realize that the beating they've 'earned' is because of the one alliance you care about, right?
Brehon, make that 6-pack some Leinie's Sunset Wheat.
Mmmm, Leinies... I'll take a Honey Weiss.
 21.
The Umbrella Policy will be used in case of an attack against VE or are your alliance going to do the same thing it did with Sparta last war?
Umbrella's wayyy too busy with the likes of Hellas to consider a war on another front..
 22. This must make NPO very very happy. After this, will there be anyone else who is in line to pay a price for Karma?
 23. Most of it is true, but some of it is not (like MK being the instigators behind the Valhalla flight to PM... unless Vesalius was told to do this by Xiphy AND MK.. Also the moocows thing). And of course, none of the names appear this way
Well the mentality back then was different from now, it was more multi-polar. We considered there to be a number of powers hostile to RIA for instance, and MK was in that camp just as much as TOP was, though we tried to get along since we had a bunch of shared allies. If things had been just a little bit different, BiPolar could have been a very different war.
I really feel like log dumping that SF meeting from November 2009, where Xiphy, Delta, Hoo, WickedJ, etc. were all deciding who to throw their weight behind. The general consensus though was that TOP was the bigger threat. Realistically though, you had a very multipolar world with recognizable spheres, but only a few links between them. Frostbite generally went with C&G, though Polar and later NSO had ties to purplol. Citadel had Fark-Gremlins, TOP-IRON and Umb-MK, among others, so they could have theoretically sided with one of those spheres. FOK was tied with basically all non ex-hegemony alliances. The Kronos incident seems to have pit Citadel against Frostbite, while the first part of BiPolar seems to have pitted the Polar sphere, ex-hegemony and Citadel against LEO, SF and C&G. Overall though, that world went from multipolar into lines being drawn after SF + C&G loosely combined against TPF.
 24. Best of luck to the Baratheons and all of the ex-Legacites that have joined your ranks!
