1. The person in your pic, male or female? I'm thinking female, but I'm not entirely sure Other that that, congratulations on this.
 2. Tony Stark is bad-@$$, but I'm not sure how Iron Man has anything to do with BTA being on the colour they should have been on in the first place
 3.
The core of your argument is that "Freedom From" is desirable. Freedom from upstarts challenging you, freedom from people saying or doing things you don't like, freedom from challenges to your authority etc. I am here to post a rebuttal. My alliance and those like us, we believe in Freedom To. Freedom to speak your mind, Freedom to decide your own course, Freedom to set your own alliance policies. Freedom to act in accord with your own beliefs. We are no moral crusader, we draw a line around those we hold dear to us, but we have no interest in puritanical crusades or delusions of grandeur or authoritarian control. You call it chaos sir, I call it liberty.
While I find nothing wrong with things as they are now, you're certainly no George Washington Therefore, my rebuttal to your rebuttal is this: Freedom to go along and $@#%& up a nation someone's worked on for, in some cases, years? Freedom to act in accord with your own beliefs, if you believe in PZI and EZI? Freedom to decide that your course involves control of an entire team? Also, I'm reasonably sure that you've been putting words in Hymen's mouth, too...
When the NPO was in charge it can be said that the pendulum had been swung too far to the Order side of the equation and people felt stifled. Now that we have a free for all, I believe we've gone to far to the chaotic side of things.
So actually, having re-read your post, and the OP, you're really rebutting something that hasn't been said. Nice job on that though
 4. I used to have that, although I lost it somewhere during the move from the UK to NZ. I've been playing Halo Reach and some RTS games, like Empire:TW and HoI3
 5.
This can only end in a plethora of "Why so Sirius" jokes.
Am I doing it right?
 6. Congratulations, to both Pacifica and the Legion on this fine treaty.
 7. I have no idea who you are, but since your picture was pretty awesome, good luck with this.
 8. Probably for the best, but don't let this put you off, try again later, when you've got all the things you really need for a successful alliance, like a protectorate, and some members already lined up. A charter would also be handy too, but not necessary right at the start.
 9.
Since Gramlins are losing IRON is fighting an aggressive war.
I'd really like to hear about the logic that got you to that conclusion.
 10. Was in NPO at the time, fought mostly VE and Spartan nations, won some, lost some, and came out of the war about the same as I went in. It was fun.
 11.
because peace is but a lie.
I think you're in the wrong order
 12.
So you have announcement just to tell us you have no one to attack? Are you going tell us everytime you do have someone to attack>
Isn't that usually known as a DoW? In which case, it's frowned upon not to, and can get you in quite a lot of trouble
 13. Plainly, 8 is the best and most unique option, but if you're trying to be serious, 4 would be best.
 14. ... That was actually slightly musical, what's going on?
 15.
Here were NPO "terms" to Legion at one point: Legion admits wrongdoing Legion submits to authority of an NPO viceroy Legion relocates to Grey team (none) Legion agrees to monthly payments in amounts to be determined (apparently 300 million PER WEEK according to Zhadum's post) Legion shall support Valhalla candidates on the Purple Senate.
How could Legion vote for candidates in the purple senate if they were on Grey team?
 16.
I was wondering how long it would take for an alliance with this theme to sprout.
Totally what I was going to say
 17.
That does not excuse what has happened here. The thread started going south with Legion and friends spouting their mouths off with garbage, naturally degeneration from there is to be expected. If I am Legion right here, I would follow the lead of many other alliances who exited this war, some with terms imposed upon them, and be classy, not harbor public ill will, and work to move past this. Anything short is just setting up for a repeat down the road.
Actually, Legion have been, at least on the whole, incredibly classy in this thread. It has been Sparta, Umbrella & 'and friends' that sent it south. So you're preaching to the wrong congregation, really.
 18.
You can't defend an alliance against a Defensive strike.
Yes you can, while you did so in response to an IRON attack, Sparta was not in the war until they declared war on IRON, so you attacked, or counter-attacked, if you like, but it's still an attack.
 19.
I don't mind paying for damages I cause, especially if I lose an aggressive assault. When Sparta activated Mutual Defense with Athens and FoB - Legion can not activate a Mutual Defense to hit us. They would have to activate their Optional Aggression. Yes, it's respecting a treaty, but it's not the same thing.
I don't really think you have the authority to say that, if they want to interpret the treaty a particular way, it's their treaty, also, it wouldn't be oA, because IRON didn't attack YOU, they hit Athens & FoB, which you defended against, but then Legion defended IRON against you.
 20.
No thank you. Ask Hyperion, though. Someone insulted his mother, and he is VERY UPSET about that. He could probably use a hug and a tissue.
It's an OOC attack, and therefore completely unjustifiable, and while I'm REALLY not a fan of Sparta, I'd say that isn't helping your argument at all.
 21.
I challenge you to find a "fair" number of Spartans making accusations at NPO during Karma. For the most part, we were not vocal whatsoever in throwing blame around in terms of the past. Also, I apologize for not controlling what everyone during that war said. I always thought MK were the puppetmasters?
I'm just felt it was a little hypocritical saying that, is all. I'll have look for those Spartans, maybe get back to you
 22.
I am not clear as to the context here, but most of Athens reps were to NPO. In terms of MK, NPO basically forced alliances to demand reparations. Echelon, and VE had both previously told MK they would not be requesting them, but then magically they appeared when it came time to negotiate, to the distress of MK. Additionally, the majority of the reparations MK paid were to NPO as well.
And the majority of reps here go to Sparta, although I'll agree that if NPO forced alliances to take reps from MK, that does invalidate it as an example, the context is that Mathew Conrad was complaining that people were saying Sparta took 40k reps, instead of the 20k going to them.
