Probably for the best, but don't let this put you off, try again later, when you've got all the things you really need for a successful alliance, like a protectorate, and some members already lined up. A charter would also be handy too, but not necessary right at the start.

Was in NPO at the time, fought mostly VE and Spartan nations, won some, lost some, and came out of the war about the same as I went in. It was fun.
