Alliances need more civil wars. Faction in-fighting is interesting.

Karma has to avoid becoming the Hegemony 2.0 and the people of the cyberverse need to work hard to make sure it doesn't happen. If the game reaches the point that people are afraid or unwilling to speak their mind, then we'll know that the powers that be have failed and this whole thing will start again. I agree with this. I didn't understand why people were trolling Valhalla for being in peace mode when it is (I thought) a very common and useful war tactic.

Hey Valhalla just wanna say: From a statistics standpoint I've really been looking forward to this fight. We're very close to each other in score and NS, and though there is a small difference between our membercounts I bet this will be a fun and challenging fight for all.

I don't know, I just remember him saying something about it on irc then soon it was everywhere.

On some image boards on the internet it became the fashion to rate posts with a troll rating (like 10/10 for being a good troll, 5/10 for being a mediocre one, etc). People soon started writing other stuff in front of the "/10" (as opposed to their rating) and the practice quickly lost all meaning, just being a way to say what you wrote before the "/10". The "/0" comes from the common internet joke of dividing by zero. Ocho started the hard sixes thing by accident after he saw it in mhawk's title.
