2.
How much alcohol was involved in this announcement?
A lot.
 3. It's always a disappointment to disband something that was meaningful to you. It does make sense if you are the last signatory though. Hopefully you can move forward to better things.
 4. I'd have to bet 100 tech on UPN. Then I'd win no matter what.
 5.
Pfft. Everyone knows that even though TSP is irrelevant, they can obviously still just come here and go THIS IS INVALID. Duh. Seriously though, wth is with all of TPF and protectorates recently?
Up until the Karma War TPF had lot of protectorates. It's pretty much in their blood to have lots of protectorates.
 6.
I had already offered my resignation before Sal's post. The day I start taking Sal seriously is the day I castrate myself with a rusty tire iron.
Resignation for a mistake? !@#$ happens, man up to it, move on. Quitting because of it is worse than the mistake itself in this case.
 7. Mistakes happen, I'm glad to see that people realize this and just let it go. Keep it classy AO.
 8. Congrats on one year. I'm glad to see he Cult still going strong. I am also glad to see there is no celebratory "kool-aid."
 9.
how about leaders who: 1. Flip flop sides when allies come into a war, thus exposing said allies to severe curbstomp and massive reps. 2. Do midnight peace negotiations with no input to allies, thus exposing said allies to what amounts to quad attack tech raids with no alternative but to peace out the following morning.
Personally, I think leaders who attack their allies because of flimsy reasons with no real attempt to sort it out first are worse.
 10. I remember working with Old Guard during the last war. They were a good group to work with, so I must say I like this treaty.
 11.
Reminds me of the staged TPF argument that Vox published. Too tired to tell if it was intentionally similar.

The conversation between Archon and SirWilliam reminds me very much of the fake screenshots of mhawk and slayer arguing.

Ka-ching. I was wondering when someone would realise they are based off that~
It is.
 12. I have a feeling that one advisor will either not be enough, or just waisting their time. Or Both. Yeah, I'm going with both.
 13. The conversation between Archon and SirWilliam reminds me very much of the fake screenshots of mhawk and slayer arguing.
 14. Interesting, TPF's usual way of handling protectorates has changed. On that note what ever did happen to OPP?
 15. I don't understand all this disdain for optional treaties. Sure for most alliances they are more or less redundant (seeing as an alliance has this thing called sovereignty), but for alliances that are a protectorate they provide a nice way to establish themselves in the world before coming into their own. On the note of the thread, congrats Skippy. It's nice to see TIO going strong.
 16.
"When it gets down to it, signatures can prove the legitimacy of it because any random group of people could draft a treaty, yet if signatures are present, it allows people to know who was responsible for such a treaty."
I remember a situation where the sigs did not prove the legitimacy of the treaty.
 17.
"Yet what good is a treaty without signatures. That would be like drafting a piece of work, releasing it with no mention or reference to you within it and then after a month or so, claiming that you are the legitimate holder of it even though it might be near impossible to potentially prove that you did in fact write it."
I don't think anyone is contesting whether they signed the treaty or not. A treaty isn't a piece of art to claim. I think the actions say more than signatures ever could.
 18.
"Looking at that treaty, I see one minor loophole, that being the treaty being devoid of signatures. Care to explain?"
The International seems willing to uphold the treaty.
 19.
Try asking a penguin that.
Let's get Penguin in here and ask. How do you plan on helping the Stewards in the PnL Train one day become engineers? What kind of communication do you have with them?
 20. Sweet, an undisclosable protectorate upgrade. o/'s all around
 21.
What prompted the messages?
I would like to know this as well. \m/'s side of the story is still largely absent.
 22. What exactly is the timeline of events here?
 23. I've been where you guys are before. It's never easy to disband an alliance you put so much into. Best of luck to all of you wherever your new homes may be.
 24. Congrats on one year. Personally I think its the hardest one. Hopefully things will be even better from here on out!
