Well, unfortunately it came to that. May all involved fight well and honorably.

Believe me, we are all better off this way. I don't think you are ill intentioned or a bad person. I just think you can't live with our democracy and our democracy can't live with you. I guess there is some NS difference between us. But even if I could, I would not go nuke rogue on you. There are some people that deserve it more.

If you read my comment you will see I never put all the blame on WN. But to say that he was honest in what he did is completely inaccurate. The Crisis Committee protocol clearly stated that any decisions made, should be made in alligment with the GA will. Now, how can you say that was the case when the GA only knew about the cancellation when the decision was already made? The Crisis Committee was created to be used on situations like that, but not in the way it was used. Don't you remember the thread made about a week earlier where the GA was claiming for a MADP with Polaris as a show of support? Well I remember. I also remember that when I left for Polaris the alliance was almost breaking due to the cancellation and the worst didn't happen because lies were fed to the GA saying Polaris was ok with it and we would help them to rebuild when all was over. I also remember a lot of edited logs floating around at that time. And I remember other gov members saying they were played by WN. So, yeah, I understand you were part of the gov that time and that you as an honorable person wants to claim your share of guilty too. And please, don't misunderstand me. I'm not saying WN did anything to harm ODN. I truly believe that he did what he did thinking on what was the best for the alliance. The only problem is that he didn't respect our democracy and he did what HE felt the best in one of his ego trips and never bothered to make an honest consultation with the rest of the alliance. Amen to that.

Well, but what WN did was not even close to what our democratic process required at the time. He used , let's say, unfair means to get what he wanted. Unfortunately we discovered it much later, when the damage was already done. Our institutions had their share of fault, and we improved them and correct their flaws to avoid that from happening again, but there was a serious betrayal of trust on WN's part and that's why so many of us haven't "forgiven" him. Well, I slightly disagree here and there, but on overall your comment is pretty accurate. We learned our lessons and we won't be caught in the middle again. If everyone used reason like you, they would be convinced that we will stick with our CnG brothers no matter what. But some people are allergic to reason, so they prefer to keep repeating stuff like a broken record. Unfortunately those will only be convinced of our worth after we fight a losing war. And even then some will say we only fought it because we were ashamed into it...
