  1. We figured there was more benefit to not fight over fight, our mutual friends figured the same. Its that simple. And its not like you were going to join us anyway, you were going to do nothing.
  2. I'm not IRON govt and haven't been for a very long time (and I'd rather lurk after the war :p) nor do I have any official capacity to speak on behalf of IRON. I never did imply Polar (or you) or Valhalla but rather, highlighting your selective criticism of your one but not other ally regarding the lack/minor (of) contribution to the coalition war efforts. Also, FYI, we allied DBDC after months of warring them and multiple and almost contineous incidents of hostility between us, direct and indirect, pixel and political, while the rest of you were having other priorities. Its not a case unique to us or the first or last time two different parties buried a hatchet.
  3. Pretty much this if you put this in the relative context of alliances that constitute our front. They arent here just for the token defense.
  4. But fighting only with ~bottom ~25% constitutes a backbone.
  5. ^. Sad state of affairs when only one person gets it.
  6. They would'nt be fighting the people they fought, forced you to put your top tiers in PM and get the others rolled whereas those resources could have been otherwise utilised elsewhere, perhaps against the people you're riling against right now. Jumping from one side to another in any of the 3 three wars would imply we were heavilly linked and connected to your side prior to the said conflict in first place, which wasnt the case. Jumping would have occured had we fought on your side in any of the 3 conflicts, hell, one of those wars was the Grudge war.
  7. We were trying to get NG to fight on our side as first option, as second option, not against us, in both cases, not against XX/AF, think about why it would be counter productive to have them fight XX/AF. We fought Doomsphere and it's constituents several times before it became 'moralist' or 'anti-lulzist' crusade you all keep shouting about, we fought, then we patched up, just like we patched up with TOOL, GLoF, VE, etc. Or say TOP and Polar, countless examples here and there, it's not something new or surprising etc, shaking hands with former enemies doesnt make one or the other a lapdog.
  8. No one ever said it was going to be a walk over, but NG's addition to other side made it tougher than it already was.
  9. Well, you had a chance to have some balance in the top tiers of DBDC and Umbrella, but you and Sparta blew it. I do not for a second believe Sparta could not have managed 4-5 declarations from TLR at the time, this wasnt the 2010 Sparta, they had improved alot as far as fighting was concerned, but, in isolation from rest of the coalition, you guys made a call and triggered the treaties to get NG in on the other side so Sparta could fullfill it's stated desire to see the entirety of PB destroyed, You chose to destroy PB's entire middle and low tier instead of destroying thier top tier. NG entry on other side completely skewed the top tiers situation, prior to that it was mostly Duckroll that was fighting the top tiers along with AZTEC and some other allies, we were facing very tough odds but we were slowly rubbing the tech off, it was pretty destructive but it was still better than even having NG's top tier, which was very strong at the time to be on the other side and completely wrecking things over there. You 'chose' to damage NG over choosing to balance the super tier situation. Prior to TLR activation, we were already in discussion with NG to activate our treaty after DBDC DoE and hitting us, I personally believe there were good chances of convincing them, as straddling in the middle was getting more difficult and unpredictable and MK was creating diplomatic headaches for NG on daily basis..I cannot say what the outcome would have been...but the whole Sparta-NPO situation convinced them (and many more people) that you were out to get to them and put them on the other side and eliminated chances of any other outcomes immediately. Later on, some of your higher ups even admitted that was a strategic error and things could have been handled better, so I do not know why now, you to some extent (who I consider to be more reasonable relatively) and mostly some others (we all know who) are grieving to rest of the world for moving on, and patching up (everyone patches up here and there, eventually) and having other priorities when you did exactly the same thing at another point in not-so-ancient time.
  10. I'm all for nuking on Eids and Christmas, yea coordination between your friends is likely going to be harder, but for a designated nuke-launcher, it's not really a fuss on either sides at all.
  11. Fixed, reference added. -- The best part was, he then applied to NG.
  12. Nobody mess up the beer reviews, it'll lead to unwanted year(s) long grudges lol.
  13. There's a sliding scale to this discussion and applies to everyone and is not limited to this specific conflict. 1. You start with no cb, the loosing side is going to say whoa, cn has lost it's meaning, global war occurs anyway. 2. You start with a meh cb, the loosing side is going to say, whoa, that's bs, cn has lost it's meaning, global war occurs anyway. 3. You start with a solid cb, the loosing side is going to say 'this is just a ploy/ you've just been waiting for the reason to roll us anyway! why dont you come out and say this plainly, why hide behind the cb!, cn has lost it's meaning ', but the global war will occur anyway. This isnt limited to this war, this has been the case in all previous wars. No one on the smaller side is ever happy about cb/nocb during the conflict. Different alliances join coalitions and wars for different reasons and 'meanings'. What you think is meaningful for you may not be meaningful for
  14. Best of luck to our friends and partners in FARK and ODN o\
  15. you could make your own awards and do a write-up for each of the above. To rest of Bob: I apologize for this idea but we all need a laugh, with hartfw distracted with Argent, the output of comics has greatly slowed down. tl;dr, blame Hartfw.
  16. inserting pm potshot here inb4 someone inserts a srsbsns pm potshot.
  17. Can you mention days since entry into war as well for the AA? Because many of those stats are highly affected by how long an alliance has been at war.
