It has come to our attention that ODN has opened their ports for trade of orange juice to our friends, and considerable time has passed since the Legion has been provided this valuable commodity. Incidentally, recent fears of a rampant outbreak of scurvy amongst the Legion have pervaded her ranks. Consequently, Legion ships have entered ODN harbors in eager anticipation of obtaining their main export. Don't bother crushing the oranges. 2. Right now I am sure CSN is trembling at the might of GOON's military prowess.
 3.
They were worse than that girlfriend I had who put bleach in my aquarium and camped in my garden for a week when we broke up. It's the quiet ones you have to look out for.
In fairness, you didn't exactly come with a good bedside manner. But then again a year is a long time.
 4.
Smurf should be booted because clearly Legion doesn't deserve him.
I still think people do not understand the concept of 'He left on his own'. Believe what you want to believe.
Quoted for truth. During the tetris-legion war, I gained a lot of respect for a lot of legion members. Key word, members. Their government is ignorant, obnoxious, and extremely egotistical. Their members on the other hand are loyal, smart (when not posting on OWF), and very open to talking to people, and trying to convince people that legion is not all that bad. It's just a shame that they are led by such... Non likable people. I understand why they kicked him, but was it necessary? No. Overreacting? Yes. Edit: typo
Except as I stated above as well as by other members of the Legion that he left on his own fruition. What part of that do people not understand? You are same people that told him to shut up during the war and now all the sudden because he is doing the cool thing and bashing Legion he is excused of all dumb posting? Looks great on you. Again I reiterate that I have no issues with Smurf other than this attention grab. He knows that as well. Edit:Grammar derp
 5.
Except I was.
No you weren't and you know that is true. I like you Smurf but do not go about spreading lies because you were TBH bored.
Forced resignations can happen.
When was the last time you saw that happen? Ivan resigning as Emperor of NSO was the last 'forced resignation' that I can remember. That was a term of peace. We never forcefully made him resign. We were not happy obviously that he made the post but no one was threatening him with anything. I could quote his resignation post from our forums if you'd like.
This guy is a pretty good indication of the average Legionarre. I anarchied him in 3 attacks. Without even bothering with spies or CMs or unnecessary stuff to make it simpler for me. A year alliance seniority, still stuck at less than 3k ns, a uranium trade with only one slot taken (probably from the nations founding). I then proceeded to turn around and aid an outnumbered alliance mate with a Legion counterattacker, who lobbed a single CM at me, then spied me to Defcon 5, then up to 4, and then proceeded to pay me to increase his casualty count. This is the average story were seeing in our alliance from Legion fighters. If these are the guys that outnumber us 3-1, give us a few rounds of war, and we'll have you lot begging for assistance. Guaranteed.
To be fair, this nation is an [OOC] Army Reservist in training right now. He is a RL friend of mine [/OOC]
 10. God don't you people think we blitzed early for a reason? Not like you will know why but there was definately a reason.. anyways good luck tetris/nso
 11.
Because you didn't meet the colour requirement, this was passed on to Legion by myself on 3 separate occasions. You had below 60%. We asked for a commitment to start turning people over and then we'd get the ball rolling, no change. We were asked again by Legion how to get you in, same answer, no change. A third time we were asked...... no change. I know this is true, because I was the one who suggested it.
Yes you are right Pansy.. it was your suggestion. I read the logs and was there for the process (at least for the second and third attempt). What you are wrong on is that at one point... I believe before the third attempt... We were close to 65% and valhalla still threw a hissy fit. It was all about politics back then before Karma and because we were not allied or liked by the NPO we were blocked. It wasn't just us. Why do you think Poseidon fell apart?
 12.
Legion. The alliance made of fail... Since... Always? As long as I've been around anyway. I watched them fail again and again, wondering and hoping that they'd get better, but as the years passed, they've arguably gotten worse. I really don't understand why MASH picked them to merge into... Valhalla would've been a better choice
I can tell why it was the Legion and not Valhalla.... It's because MASH was treated like crap by pretty much everyone on purple except for the Legion. Ask anyone in Valhalla that's been around more than 2 years why MASH was never accepted into Posideon. Edit:clarity

 14.
You definitely missed the MK-NoR thread then, didn't you? or Polar-Fark or GOD-SOS and those have just been in the past month or two. It's pretty mild in here so far to be honest.
I guess that is what happens when you [OOC] work too much [/OOC]
 15. Wow! Dont believe I have ever seen this much hate for an oAoDP. Ave UPN!
 16.
I see Legion came out to play- there are no pixels at risk on the OWF ! Just a few things I'd like to laugh at from Legion members- some gems, if you will: The fact that you guys thought that not hitting MK would somehow keep TOP out of the war is comedy gold. A++ for tactical planning Legion. I've seen the numbers on Legion warchests. I remember explaining to one of your members who I was fighting against a mutual target with why a warchest was important. He hadn't gotten any info about keeping one since he entered Legion and thought the amount he had on hand for a warchest as a 3NS new nation was enough. Good times. Contrary to Legion, we actively work to improve our warchests and other military statistics- unfortunately for us, we don't surrender (and then change our minds, if anyone remembers that little episode) and then re-surrender after a week and a half of war. We actually fight wars, always outnumbered, and hence, we were a little war-exhausted. No, it's actually well documented. They weren't there the whole time, but at one point 97% of your NS was in PM. As for our use of hippie: duh. We cycled nations in and out, particularly larger nations who needed to re-stock nukes. Thing is, they always came back out very quickly. Only two NSO nations stayed in PM the entire war, both of whom were having their nations sat at the time. I'm too lazy to go find all the posts by GOONS members saying it was a tossup between us and TPF for the best opponents of the war. I remember organizing aid for non-NSO allies several times. You sir, are an !@#$%^& if you don't think that aiding your coalition mates is 1. smart, and 2. honorable. Then again, I don't know why I would expect more from Legion.
You are one to talk about WC's LOL. Maybe if you got your head out of your bum, keep out of trouble and back collect to keep yourselves in a war for more than a couple of rounds maybe no one would give you s**t. I had a 1.5 billion dollar (1.1 billion after I came out of peace mode because i had crap for trades)warchest when the war started (ask anyone that spied me) at 65k NS. Did Legion have some nations that didn't have proper WC's? Absolutely. You name me one alliance outside of maybe Umbrella that all of their nations were prepared for a long war. If you'd like, I could provide some fantastic GOONS and MK WC's that i grabbed from spy opps during the war. Id prefer not to embarass those nations but if i have to i will. Also where is this documentation? I Worked in Legions Defense department and was around and helped work on target lists so i know that we were never that high. Stop lying and show me your proof. It was well known that we were the secondary target the whole war and everyone was looking to hit a juicy Legion target. I know of at least 25 nations out of ~240 that were not in PM at the start of the war due to just inactivity (those nations all deleted) also at the beginning of the war. That was the highest amount of hippie mode nations that we had during the war as we started releasing nations 2 weeks after the start of the war. GOONS can say what they want. I will say nothing to discredit TPF or NSO about how they did in the war as I know you both faught well while you were in but then at least TPF stayed in for the whole time. NSO whines about how we (the Legion) never coordinated well but we were not the ones looking and recieving seperate peace. Make whatever excuse you want about why you left.... I dont care. All that truely matters is that you held up our planning for 2 weeks and were in seperate peace talks another 2 weeks later. edit: grammar error
 17.
Let me preface this by saying that first off the New Sith Order is not and never will be allied to The Legion. Nor does us having a mutual ally or being in a coalition by itself require us to play nice with you. There are many lies that have been spread through these pages by Legionaires; whether or not that is due to misinformation by their government, plain stupidity, or sheer incompetence, I am not sure. What I do know is a few fun facts. 1. Legion can $%&@ off. 2. Legion did refuse to hit Mushroom Kingdom.
[01:42] <@Watcher> if we hit MK that brings TOP on us [01:42] <@Watcher> and we cant effectively fight MK and TOP, our upper is weak 01[01:42] <&[NSO]youwish959> heh - someone's gonna have to do it [01:43] <@Watcher> and it wont be us 01[01:43] <&[NSO]youwish959> At least you have an upper tier [01:43] <@Watcher> which im not going to sacrifice
3. Legion did refuse coalition requests on multiple occasions. 4. Legion had 97% of their 200+ member alliance in peace mode at some points after the war began. Seriously what the hell. I mean I can understand if it was before the war began, as that would be a sound military strategy so as you maintain control of when your nations go to war, but no sound military is not Legion's style. 5. I don't really feel like disputing Henry's numbers, as I'm sure they are correct. However, when you consider that Legion fought for 42 more days than the Sith and only lost 15% more of their NS than ourselves it is not all that great. If we had continued our average rate of loss and remained in the war then we would have been at a total of 73% of NS lost by the end of the war on May 2nd. 6. We surrendered because we were out of money, period. That's really all there is to it. As Varianz mentioned earlier, we were sending hundreds of millions in aid to our allies while Legion sat in peace mode ignoring coalition requests to the contrary. By the end of it we were resorting to aid chains, a !@#$@#$ tactic from 2007 that should never have to be used when you have an able bodied alliance in your coalition able to come out and relieve pressure. FFS, I was happier than all hell when I was able to dig up $6,000,000 in aid after arduous searching. But hey, Legion had to revert back to 2007 tactics too! 7. $%&@ Legion
1) you can choose to hate us (that's what sith do right?) but remember sooner or later you will run out of alliances to throw under the bus and I will laugh at you. 2)We hit and were hit by MK pretty substanially. In fact after the first round of attacks, we pretty much singled out MK. Those terrific logs were taken in a coordination channel when we were plotting out entry. Nice try on spinning that. 3)What coaliltion requests? from you? oh noes! We were there defend NPO. Period. Its not our fault that you threw a hissy fit and held up everything when you didnt get your way. 4)97%? thats pretty damn high and a complete lie. I can tell you that it was at the most 80%. We lost about 50 nations due to inactivity and bill lock during the war, most of which within the first 3 weeks because they refused to acknowledge the order to get to PM. Now I am not privy to the details but I know for a fact that the Sith had more than their fair share in hippie mode. 5)So what you are saying is that the Sith were/are, at best, unprepared for conflict and at worst horrible fighters. Considering that you went in on your own free will, Im gonna take a stab at the latter. 6) Here is a free lesson for you: stop creating international incidents that require you to bail yourselves out of getting rolled. Maybe then you will have enough money to survive more than 2 rounds. 7) I love you two, youwish
Sigged My ratings will likely be outdated due to my current state of non-involvement or knowledge or world affairs since I left gov a few months ago. Trying to be fairly unbiased though
Dude get over yourself TBH. If you bothered to read my whole post you would realize that the best rating that I gave outside of Legion was an 8. TOP may have gotten a .5 boost for not having you there.
