1. So basically it's CSN. The actual CSN that people remember. Before... that... other thing. WHO WOULD SIGN WITH SUCH PEOPLE.
 2.
The parking lot formerly known as NPL will make for fine tailgating grounds.
I'll bring the beers!
 3. You know I wondered a few weeks ago when I saw "Oceania" in a thread title (that I didn't read) if it was an Orwellian reference. Now I know! Congrats on the milestone.
 4. [s]We have a circle on blue that just lost a member to inactivity. Anyone willing to be on blue who wants an 8br trade circle please PM me or reply here.[/s] Trade circle closed
 5. Are you absolutely sure it's safe to do this yet? You could wait another week...
 6. We have a trade circle put together but just lost rubber/marble to inactivity. Anyone interested in joining up speak up. Blue team required.
 7.
No, you're not getting it straight, in fact, you're speaking from out of your ass. I liked them because they attacked someone we were at war with? Well no !@#$ I approved of what they did, it was helping us out and I should be thankful for that (to which I expressed in the other thread.) Their FA alignment is only just one of many their many terrible qualities. The fact that they don't have any respect for the well being of any alliance, the fact that they use political capital to their advantage (much like GOD), the fact that they treat people like garbage is what makes me detest the alliance of which that is VE. Keep tryin' NPL.
Except that's not what you said. You said you were forced into liking them, not that you approved of what they did. Which certainly implies the criteria for your liking or not is as simple and shallow as "durr dey on are syde i tink". NPL, really? You think this is a statement from NPL? Well that explains the rest of your posts. Maybe next time I reply to you I'll change my forum AA to read "Spanish kat lulz", just to see how much cognitive dissonance I can stir up in you.
 8.
See, I was forced into 'liking' them yesterday because they declared on The Apparatus. It was truly a horrifying feeling that no one else should be allowed to experience. Plus the fact this still doesn't make up for them being entirely a !@#$ alliance anyways.
So, if I'm getting this straight, they're likable as long as they're attacking someone you're at war with. If they even start to look like they have a different FA alignment than you, they're a !@#$ alliance again? Just so I understand exactly what you're saying...
 9. I'd find a lot of humor if we got peace from DH and GOD activated their treaty with NPL. Something about that would be... poetic.
 10.
If that were the case, don't you think GOD would be in here complaining?
Given how many GOD personnel who are in here responding at all, I'd just have assumed they were told to stay off the OWF. So, no, I don't think they would be in here at all.
 11. Every time RoK does or says something in public these days, I pity myself for having put together a treaty with them in my past. In my defense, it's a very different RoK now.
 12.
Do you even know why RoK left SF?
Not because of CSN.
 13. In spite of everything I had a lot of affection for Legacy. Past tense, I suppose.
 14.
The incidents with NPL form a pattern, a pattern that pissed off my membership. They feel as though this war is justified, regardless of the reparations being paid, and I agree.
I think that says a lot about your membership.
 15. So... not only are you whining about whining, but the extent to which you can bring whining examples is two of NPL's 80 members? *yawn*
 16. [s]I have an aid deal pending for 50 tech. The sending nation has 50 tech. When I try and accept, it says it failed because the sending nation no longer has enough tech. Which is not true. This could be related?[/s] ETA: Nope, not related. Never mind.

 18.
That was under TBW though, no? Or was AT still HoS? I know it had been an area of discussion prior to the formation of Feroticas (so just after I had left for USB).
Both. I survived briefly the transition from AT to TBW.
 19.
Did I misspeak or slur my words? It was under TBW that CSN began its shift toward SF! and away from CDT (inherently USN in hindsight). He was also hesitant about SF! at first, notably when he chewed me out (I was Minister of Foreign Affairs at the time) for even hinting to USN that that had been the case; TBW also told USN to shove off when certain government officials demanded that I be fired or replaced for even hinting the aforementioned.
Yeah I was just saying it wasn't under TBW that we (CSN) started towards SF!. That was a primary goal for me when I was MoFA right before you, and it was a goal I was very open about with the upper leadership (AT, then TBW, and Gino was in and out of government, but liked my FA goals). It's the reason we signed FARK (ODP at the time) and RIA (MDP), and I started treaties rolling with GOD and ROK that were interrupted by our entry into NV.
 20.
If it is out of any consolation, TBW did in fact accomplish a lot for The Commonwealth, notably by setting us down the SF! path after a minutia of hesitance in the very beginning (that was spurred by complications with USN).
Hey!
 21.
Gino had absolutely nothing to do with the CSN of today, he had everything to do with the CSN of the past that everyone loved and respected. Where is TBW and Arouet. I'll assume Arouet isn't there becaue he was fiercly opposed to what CSN has become, but TBW? SOM should be on this list too. And about a dozen other people.
CSN is just going through a... um.. spat. I think someday they'll return to the basic principles that made them awesome.
 22.
Decom all military improvements (except those required for the Strategic Defense Initiative), soldiers to at least 25% of population, and all tanks, planes, nukes, and naval ships. It's an awkward wording but it makes sense to me.
Makes sense to me. Basically means you don't have to decom soldiers. Decom to 35%. That's "at least 25%".
