  1. Well, it's not as if jokes were unheard of before. It's pretty crazy most of the meaningful history happened within the first four years though, making reposts the best.
  2. We may be perma-ZI, but you will never take our freedom! MHAil!
  3. We shall go on to the end. We shall fight in lamuella, we shall fight on the seas and oceans, we shall fight with glowing confidence and glowing strength with our nukes, we shall defend our alliance whatever the cost may be. We shall fight on the beaches, we shall fight on the landing grounds, we shall fight in the fields and in the streets, we shall fight in the hills; we shall never surrender. Friends > Infra Forever the real MHA to our last pixels!
  4. What General Lowsten called the battle of Argent is over. I expect that the battle of Harmlins is about to begin. Upon this battle depends the survival of Hitchiker civilization. Upon it depends our own Hoopy life, and the long continuity of our institutions and our Towels. The whole fury and might of the enemy must very soon be turned on us. jessbro knows that he will have to break us in this Island or lose the war. If we can stand up to him, all of Bob may be free and the life of the world may move forward into broad, sunlit uplands. But if we fail, then the whole world, including the Grey Council including all that we have known and cared for, will sink into the abyss of a new Dark Age made more sinister, and perhaps more protracted, by the lights of perverted science. Let us therefore brace ourselves to our duties, and so bear ourselves that if the true Mostly Harmless Alliance last for a thousand years, men will still say, ‘This was their finest hour.’
  5. In seriousness, MostlyHarmlessAlliance isn't even the MHA of 2011 or even 2013. It's just a husk kept alive by people not being willing to disband.
  6. Despite us being on opposite sides of this brouhaha, good luck to our NAP partners! The spirit of TimLee commends you.
  7. Wow. I'd be honored to receive your help!
  8. It's a wholly internal conflict with no need for outside interference.
  9. Luckily for us there's no Umbrella around. It would be unconscionable for our close XX partners to attack the rightful MHA. After all, the treaties specify Mostly Harmless Alliance and not the phony MostlyHarmlessAlliance.
  10. Why would our own bloc attack us? How preposterous.
  11. In the interest of speedier travel throughout Planet Bob, the Mostly Harmless Destructor Fleets hereby announce the commencement of a new Cyberverse Bypass Project. In the future, this will provide a faster, smoother ride for all hitchhikers in the world. However, we recognize that there may be some mild discomfort to some imposter MostlyHarmless nations as they are demolished to make way for the Bypass, so we have come together to sing the following ode to these imposters. http://www.interlandi.net/mp3/So_Long_and_Thanks_for_All_the_Fish.mp3 Hey, you've gotta build bypasses. Farewell, The Mostly Harmless Alliance.
  12. It being here isn't significant. Barely anyone is ever on the forums and there's very little in-game activity. It's solely propped up by people googling nation simulator when something happens politically IRL. Most admins of similar games shut their games down before they got to this point. Just a different standard. The only reason admin is keeping it around is because it's not losing him money and it's a sentimental attachment. It has been dead for a long time. I would be surprised if it's around in 10 years with more than a couple hundred players unless some people get really stubborn with the psychological attachment. admin has benefited from people just not being able to let go but the time is approaching where more and more will just start forgetting about it. It's been several years now and he doesn't seem concerned in the slighest and doesn't want to do an app.
  13. Yeah, I'm not sure why he would turn over power to people not willing to step up before. It has nothing to do with someone's quality as a leader if they disband the alliance. A leader that clings to a dead alliance is much worse than one that disbands it. Sometimes thing are well past their time and it's an issue with this game that people cling too much to old identities.
  14. There aren't as many newer active players as you describe. The game is objectively dying. It is down to less than 10% of its peak membership. Nothing is really changing about it except people deciding to finally close up shop. It's a dead end. The reasons Hal describes contribute a lot but a lot of is also there is no desire on the part of the creator to keep it alive beyond just paying the hosting and occasionally fixing errors/downtime. The game would be a lot more thinned out if not for the SEO advantage it gained when it was bigger as that's where all the players are coming from now.
  15. Huh? FTW is on the offensive right now.
  16. No, he was definitely in R&R until he deactivated recently. He just wasn't as big of a deal outside of GGA. Here you go https://cybernations.lyricalz.com/nation/207850
  17. No. Also you're thinking of The Ninjas which was mostly Gre members not Basketball Ninjas, which was an entirely different alliance.
  18. Your only options are NPO, IRON, CLAWS or NpO. Everyone else isn't active.
  19. That's where you're wrong. R&R had been dead for quite some time. It was the best move DemonSpawn could make given the inactivity rampant there. Its best days when it used to compete with the big boys recruitment wise had long passed and it was just keeping on for no reason.
  20. Monster

Registrations being on again propped it up a little but noticing some more than three weeks ago.
  21. GATO would have been much cooler that way.
  22. How exactly? IRON and NPO make up 14.4% of the population on their own and it's even more disproportionate with tech. Then there's also Polar. Most people decided to be inactive and just hold onto their nations for longevity's sake. Sometimes they pump out treaties/announcement to feel alive, as well. Most of the other alliances couldn't fight their way out of a paper bag. NG wasn't big and they didn't care about it. Anyone who was willing to do do a long-term low tier war would have done so already.
