1.
I don't get why you are all gang banging on GOONS. Avoiding the TOP treaty isn't going to work...obviously the doomhouse declaration in the first place shows just how little people care about treaty chains in this war. If they want to hit you, they are going to hit you. What you should have done was focused on Umbrella and MK, but instead you are leaving them to roam free and annihilate anything above 40k. Good job, you just lost the war.
While I appreciate that a member of Sparta is rooting for us, we'll conduct our own war. But thanks for the input. And to answer your question we decided to hit GOONs for absolutely no reason whatsoever. Apparently reasons are no longer needed for war. Ask Doomhouse. And rest assured, we will prevail or we'll bring the whole Doomhouse down with us. EVERYTHING. MUST. DIE.
 2. Depends on too many variables at this point. How much damage is done to who.... Exactly how far the victors will take things... When Archon's megomanical blood lust and fear of NPO is quenched... How long the war goes on, and who stays in for the long haul.. etc. If current trends continue all we can be sure of is: There will be a greatly diminished NPO. There will be a greatly diminished GOONs. There will be a greatly diminished NpO. There will be a greatly diminished PC Several other alliances will be diminished significantly. If I had to be tied to a theory, I would bet you are not going to see much change at all. You might see some of the meatshields get tossed aside: GOONs, PC..etc, if they take too much damage, however the core alliances that have been running things really aren't taking that much damage. Especially MK. I'm baffled...but like no one is attacking them when they (along with VE) are the clear instigators of the war. They'll assign severe reps that cripple the other side of the web. They'll spend the next two years or so picking and choosing fights that they can win, rolling over whatever alliance they decide to clobber, and in about two years we'll all do this again and spend another week chasing the treaty-chain hoping that any of the massive amounts of NS-strong alliances on their side decide to attempt to topple the status quo rather than support them. Essentially, this whole two years of bullying and boredom will repeat.
 3. That's pretty funny. Cause the way I see it you are MK's meatshield/vassal state.
 4.
How did NEW feel?
*DING DING DING* OHHH OHHH! I KNOW! I KNOW! Like Poison Clan was hugging infra! At their expense!
 5.
Nope, just pointing out the fail....lol
Not the turn of phrase I would have used.
 6.
People have been killing your other ally for a week and now you finally decide to stop hugging the infra. How does it feel STA to not be as important as NPO?
You sound bitter.
 7. I'm dancing! Let's dance on some Goon graves.
 8. Down with Goons. Down with Doomhouse. FORWARD TPF!
 9. *sniff* Schatt paraphrased my old sig. Meet the new boss. Same as the old boss. *sniff* I feel so.....vindicated.
 10.
Some members would take pleasure but I daresay that is representative of the whole of MK. Im just trying to figure off where you get off claiming the entire alliance is somehow frothing at the mouth to kill NPO.
Dude, do you READ the posts? I mean seriously...I've seen some diplomatic BS in my day, but come on..
 11. I honestly get amazed every time I watch these treaty chains play out during a war. There seems to be two schools of thought about it: People who view the treaty web like mandatory gospel - They seem to feel that every treaty is kind of like a....mindless document that dictates certain actions....like a series of dominoes falling: "Oh...Alliance XXX is allied to both YYY and ZZZ, if YYY attacks ZZZ they have to sit there and do nothing", when in reality...they don't. People who view the treaty web as a tool - This interpretation is often a little colder. Usually this is favored by groups in large coalitions: If alliance WWW is in a coalition with 5 other alliances, and one of them attacks it's ally, ultimately when the cards fall they are going to find a way to use the treaty web to help the coalition. Most people are in the middle of both of these.
 12. "The War of Viridian Aggression". "The Tri Polar War". I got nothing else.
 13.
It's good to know that you are one of the 10+ alliances that is scared of VE.
You mean like those that went to war for them?
 14.
That, um, looks more like something Spectre might fantasise about than an actual attack.
Hey, cut me a break. You try finding a pic of a tiger eating a guy that doesn't violate the rules. besides, the hat reminded me of that PC guy with Crocodile Dundee on his sig.
 15. Eat em up Tigers!
 16.
Your side is members of the previous establishment; popularly known as the Ex. Hegemony. It has however evolved over time and developed a few new additons and lost various old ones; however this is ultimately irrelevant. Those not directly allied to my alliance are not my enemies, they are simply other alliances in this game. Those whom have battled my side in the past however will remain an enemy until proper measures to mend relations have been made. That said, we are in fact aware of the menace within our halls; Athenian treachery knows no bounds...just ask =LOST=. As for Slayer, he is the only real figure I can note of from TPF aside from The Big Bad (whom I don't have a single problem with). So until someone else steps up to do enough good deeds to counter-act all of his failings in my mind I'll always have a negative viewing of you. This is not a sleight against any of you, as I don't know you or anyone else from TPF aside from limited interactions in another realm. It is however the simple truth from an average old-members of Planet Bob. Lastly, I didn't say the date of an inevitable clash would be soon. Rather it could be years from now (in which case I won't be around for it). Furthermore, it isn't meaning that you or any actions related to the TPF will be a direct cause of a war; rather this is accepting the nature that every alliance is tied together under some treaty. So thus with you all being so intimately tied with those whom will oppose us it is inevitable. It's a simple concept to understand; and it's one that has been ever constant for years and years.
Well I hate to break it to you, but there is no "Ex Hegemony'. Seriously. It's a phony boogeyman. If such a thing existed this game would be a lot more interesting, but anything resembling the Hegemony died a long time ago. I understand what you are saying about Slayer, but think of it this way. The Big Bad hasn't been part of this alliance for some time either. Do you still associate us with "The Big Bad Empire of the North"? Give us credit for everything he does/did? Of course not..because The Big Bad (like Slayer) has moved on to other things. As for the "clash", I really think you are looking in the wrong place. When things break down on Bob it'll break down from within the ruling coalition IMO, not from without. And war makes strange bedfellows when the treaty web changes. Don't assume we'll always be enemies. The only way to assure that is to continue to view and treat us as such.
Firstly, I was a member of NSO during the Karma war. So while I did fight get some TPF nations in it; it was not enough to relieve my grudge held against his actions. I suppose I'm a vengeful person; but I digress. As I stated in the post responding to Daeryon until I see something of note to make up for Slayer 99 nearly destroying my alliance that I founded (NV), and in fact destroying the alliance which gave me a start in this very game (NoR) I cannot in good faith let it go. So please don't take my actions or statements as representative of MK's as a whole; for I am uniquely differed from MK being a newer member of it and one of much more seniority then most in CN as a whole.
I'd say you are misdirecting your anger. Slayer99 is long gone. You may have your reasons for being mad at him, but to hold TPF accountable for him years after the fact is a bit unfair IMO. A good portion of our membership never even knew Slayer, nor were I'd dare to say MOST involved in attacks on NV or NoR. How many years ago was that now?
I doubt many MK members care about or even remember what Slayer99 did. The bigger issue is that you're alliance is still an NPO satellite. Edit: grammar
NPO are great friends to TPF. That's far more than I can say about most. Great friends are worthy of cooperation and respect. Maybe your alliance should spend more time being good friends to people, and less time complaining about treaties that really....don't really involve you.
There is far too much bashing of Slayer99 in this thread. He was a great man. Made a huge number of enemies, he did, but he was a great man. Those in TPF, who are brushing him aside like you are, should be ashamed of yourselves. That's not to say TPF is not a vastly different, even better alliance now than it was in the ancient times, but for the love of Admin show some respect.
Who in TPF isn't showing Slayer respect? We're just pointing out, he's not here any more. He's not leading us any more. He's not part of our alliance any more. To continue to associate us with him all this time after he left is silly, and petty.
And people keep saying TPF has changed. I'm certainly not convinced. (cue twenty people telling me that one opinion doesn't represent the alliance, therefore reinforcing my initial statement)
Why? Because some of us liked Slayer? While it's obvious you didn't, those who actually knew the guy will generally tell you he was a good guy, a lot of fun, and really in many ways a great addition to this game. Slayer was BIG into the roleplay of himself as an Evil Overlord. The real Slayer was really quite different from the way he presented himself on the OWF. He also did A LOT for TPF. If you are going to hold TPF in a bad light because we actually DARED like a guy who did a lot for us all I don't know what to say. But again, Slayer is gone. Like him or not. And he has been for a long time now. It's time to get over it
 17.
I'm well aware that the both of you have mended relations to the point that you'd facilitate it with this treaty. I'm not stating opposition to that fact, rather I'm stating as an addendum to this treaty that your side has once more been interwoven into a political force through this and other recent treaties. Sure this isn't it's main intent, but that is the effect either way. Thus that is why I'm displeased with it. You also may be correct about you being changed and all, but I have a long memory and Slayer 99 is still locked away in it; until I forget about him or his antics I'll tend to hold a somewhat negative view on you all. Lastly, what my statement means is our sides will clash sometime in the future. The divisions between political entities, ideologies, and other factors will lead to it. I'm only stating it and wishing my old friends in STA the best of luck with things; as I don't hate them. I simply recognize our paths diverging, much like Tyga recognizes it amongst countless others. This is true, but I don't see your point by stating the obvious. Our leadership deemed them an appropriate match for our liking, much like STA deemed TPF worthy for theirs. In this case, I dislike their choice on it and I stated it. Back then, they didn't like our choice and stated it as well. Evidently I respect them for it and they seemingly respect my postings here as well.
Well that certainly didn't clear up any misunderstanding or disheartenment. I don't know what you are referring to as my "side", unless you are referring to TPF and her allies, and I assure you, we are not nearly powerful enough to cause any problems to the immense coalition your alliance is part of, even if we did intend to do so. My best guess is that you are assuming my "side" is all those alliances that used to be part of the Hegemony, or that my "side" is anyone and everyone not affiliated with your alliance? Either way, you'd be wrong. My "side" is TPF, and her allies, of which per this thread we gained another great one. If you are referring to us all I can say is you are looking in the wrong place. When trouble comes to you it will come from another direction. Slayer99 (peace be upon him), is no longer part of TPF and has gone on to concern himself with other matters in some other world. I understand everyone still seeing Slayer within TPF (as...he was after all one of Bob's most infamous), but really...it's time to get over it. He's been gone a LONG time now. I am however sorry to note that you feel that the Mushroom Kingdom will come into conflict with TPF and her allies some time soon. I don't know what we've done to deserve that in the past year, but it appears I can't expect any better.
 18.
.........; in an ironic twist of events you've changed so much that your now tethering the broken disenfranchised elements of an defunct power-base into an actual side of the web. Hence why those elements are lauding this topic with endless showers of praise; you've once more given them a chance at relevance and a second chance at power. Of course, this will surely move the game into a somewhat interesting if ever so brief state of affairs as things progress. But it is bitter to see you've gone this route; even more so knowing what it will lead too.

....But on the same coin, there are those who shouldn't be given a second chance at regaining certain items. This is one of those instances to be frank.
I find your comments disheartening, and to be honest, rather misinformed. First, very much as had been repeated ad nauseum in this thread, this treaty is about TPF and STA coming together as two alliances that respect each other, want to put aside past differences, and are looking forward to cooperating and working together as two larger alliances in the same (white) sphere. To read this as a "chance at relevance and a second chance at power" is really a bad interpretation. There's always been an admiration and respect for STA in TPF. Any disagreements in the past were always viewed as regrettable, and they are an alliance we have wanted to cooperate with for quite some time. I'm sorry you seem to feel negatively about TPF, however all I can say is that like STA, I hope you can let bygones be bygones. It's been quite some time, and I think if you looked, you'd find a different TPF than you seem to envision. And by the way: What exactly does this mean?
Of course, this will surely move the game into a somewhat interesting if ever so brief state of affairs as things progress. But it is bitter to see you've gone this route; even more so knowing what it will lead too.
19.
What I like best about this treaty is seeing people move forward from the past and finding common ground, that seems to be pretty rare these days. A sexy treaty and Tyga sporting a sexy new signature too, Kudos all around!
I personally love a lot of things about this treaty, but the above is probably my favorite as well. It's two alliances putting the old world behind them and looking forward to a great new future.
 20. It's a great day for both our alliances. I look forward to friendship for quite a long time to come. STA! o7
 21. I just find the "us vs them" mentality hanging around from Karma war kind of amazing. I've seen several people in this thread speak about how those in power have done this and that.... and those not in power haven't built themselves up, aren't creative enough, not scheming enough, etc. And it just really seems to me to be that people are still looking to fight a war that's been over for a year and a half. The situation at the moment is that there really is no challengers capable of taking on the existing power structure, and as far as I can gather, no real plans for anyone to take them on. You really IMO have one megalithic coalition at the top, and then it's fringe supporters...and then...three or four seperate groups operating outside of that treaty web that don't want to operate with each other, have no plans on operating with each other, and have pretty much made up their minds that things are as they are. This has lead to a sort of Pax Bobica, where there's been a couple minor wars but largely a lot of peace and boredom. This state of affairs will continue until one of the following things happen: #1. The ruling coalition fractures. #2. The 3 or 4 groups band together and decide to take on the ruling coalition. #3. Both. I don't see any of those things happening any time soon. Until recently the ruling coalition has done nothing but strengthen it's hold, shows no visable signs of strain, and seems content. the 3 or 4 groups don't like each other much, have different goals, and don't think they could win a confrontation with those in power. Some of the 3 or 4 want to JOIN the ruling coaltion, not fight it. Collect taxes and pay bills people. That's all the drama I see for quite some time.
