1. I see PZI/EZI as a community enforced ban from the game. If the player hasn't violated any of the game/forum rules but has still done things everyone else agrees are way to far over the line to continue being here - then PZI/EZI is an option. However I can't think of many circumstances where you could push the community that far without breaking any game/forum rules. IIRC, admin ain't too cool with people who commit RL crime as a part of his game.
 2.
Well, that is the major criteria for claiming ownership of an alliance. Story checks out. All hail Julianopolis...
Does this apply to blocs? I would love to be the god king of PB and Duckroll.
 3.
legal rights
There are no laws here. What we have is a loose set of generally accepted mores and behavioral standards.
 4.
did you really have to do this? [OOC]can anyone else not find this guy's ruler name ingame? or did i input it wrong?[/OOC]
No, you input it right. This guy was just smart enough to misspell his own ruler name: Ruler: anamu7tram Nation Name: Rapture palestine Alliance Affiliation: The Resistance
 5. This is really dumb. Stop attention whoring
 6.
thanks Buddy! i cant expose my identity, former enemies would take revenge on me...
You'll be fine. ZI across re-rolls became taboo years ago.
 7. I'm still confused as to what you're resisting. From where I'm standing it seems you've put up quite the struggle against success
 8. ignored content of questions, voted ray x2
 9. For every action, there is an equal and opposite reason why Doomhouse/PB is worse than NPO pre-karma.

 11.
Crymson and Sponge
Ah yes, snakes in the grass and what not.
 12.
Greeks or turks are not arabic...
...never said they were? Just pointing out that greek on a Turkish flag with an islamic phrase in and of itself isn't that strange of a combo.
 13. Moldavi vs. Moo was fun for the whole family.
 14. strangely enough, the flag doesn't seem all that weird to me, having known two muslim greeks from turkey in my lifetime. Though I somehow doubt the commonality of that particular combination was the intended subject of the OP's flag

 16.
Meh D34th has been peddling that screaming martyr routine since the WotC, but yeah I suppose if some people do indeed swallow that !@#$%^&* then something has to be said.
Going down in flames for your alliance/allies makes all your future points valid, didn't you know?
 17. Peace treaties that start wars? Next I want mud that cleans carpets.

 19.
You got me.
I'd say there's a pretty strong correlation between the amount of :DeLay: on planet bob and [ooc]the health of the game[/ooc]. Solution? More DeLay.
 20. I know who the author is... after reading a couple paragraphs it became quite obvious:

21.
I can't speak for the Great War era, but I was here for the Unjust War, and people on both sides (yes, even the "lulz" side) took that war very seriously. The OWF exchanges were for the most part extremely hate-filled. All in all I think people in general take things less seriously now. Forum discussions tend to be much less serious these days. Though I think alliance leadership still take it just as seriously, and that's what determines the action. -Bama
Its not that the game wasn't taken seriously, its more that it was taken seriously in a different way. Things were more emotional and personal back then, where as now things are much more Politics/PR/Media.
 22.
Huh? How could you miss the moralist tenor of the crusade against the UJP? Really?
Really? The war which orchestrated as a move to weaken and destabilize NPO's political position and empower Polar/BLEU was a moralist crusade (ignoring completely that Moralism with a capital 'M' hadn't graced us with its presence yet). Sure the war had a good vs. evil aspect, but so did Karma and so did the WotC side fighting against Polar & Co. - would you consider those wars moralist conflicts?
 23.
Instead if you want things to change, start pushing for intelligent realistic (not radical) reforms to the game structure that can bring about real change. Mechanics to make it possible for a nation to reach a large size faster and recover easily. I have always maintained that if you made it so a newbie could become a relevant nation within 6 months, and that any nation could recover from zi/zt to their earlier NS in 6 months, you would see the world and atmosphere you wanted. You want to talk about player retention issues? It is not wars. It is not rogues. It is not trolls. What it is, is how many games out there in the world require three years of effort for you to be AVERAGE!? Imagine warcraft where it took three years of playing to reach level 85? Who would play? THAT is your problem. And the solution is not a re-set. That chases away too many people. The solution is tweaking game dynamics so while some nations will always be larger than others, it is possible to become relevant and rebuild to relevancy in a realistic time frame. ::end rant::
This. Some games have mechanics that let you get more XP/Skill points/money (w.e it is that advances you in the game) at lower levels in order to bring newer players to an acceptable level, so they can compete with older players, faster. In CN, the limiting factor is money (and monetary influx is capped by the limit on foreign aid of 15m/250t per 10 day cycle). What if there was a game mechanic that reduced the cost of infrastructure, improvements, and some wonders by 50% until the nation hits 25k NS or something (whatever is a good point from which they can start building up without help).
 24.
You decry moralists as being against war and in favor of a world without conflict, being a part of the cancer that is destroying activity within the game. Yet, you most often cite Polaris as the chief moralist in your arguments. I wonder if you realize that Polaris has started or instigated five of the eight major wars that have graced this planet? 1. Great War I - Tyga nukes LUE to trigger major alliance warfare (Polar) 2. Great War II - GOONS declares on Fark (Not counting this one, but it's worthy to note that Polar was a major contributor to the escalation of GWII) 3. Great War III - NPO's business. 4. Unjust War - Sponge leads the charge against the Unjust Path (Polar) 5. War of the Coalition - Organization against Polar (Polar) 6. Karma - Not us 7. Bipolar War - Grub hates \m/, etc (Polar) 8. NpO-PB War - VE et al declares on us (Polar) Polaris is the instigator of more conflict than any other alliance in the game, and they are your prime example of Moralism, yet you decry moralists as destroying the game by not allowing war to occur? There is a flaw in your argument, my friend.
I don't think you can count anything pre-karma as an example of Polar "moralism" causing wars. Sponge was many things (manipulative, harsh, imperialistic, etc) but I don't think I would qualify his leadership of NpO as "moralist" in the slightest. Leaving 6-7, I'll give you BiPolar, but the most recent conflict was more VE wanting to kill you/something than Polar doing much of anything to cause it.
