I'd say founding Ordo Recolitus, which has become Ordo Verde, was a pretty solid accomplishment.

Nope. In CN a nation's statistics are more a measure of the player's alliance and its financial abilities... the individual player could not achieve much on their own without an influx of money from the alliance, and with the prevalence of guides the player doesn't even need skill, effort, or ability to grow.

You're right, you should listen to yourself. You've lead two alliances (which you have to qualify as "micro"), and apparently failed with both. At this point I think my doormat has more meaningful leadership experience. To the outward eye forfeiting the NPO protectorate might seem like a bad thing, but the truth is we don't all know the complete circumstances. Aside from this statement from Moo nothing much has been said. I'm going to venture that SPA didn't drop the protectorate lightly and considered their options before merging into WANG. That said, good luck SPA/WANG, hopefully time will show that the decision you made was in fact the best. edit: missed an important "]"

The last month or so has seen a massive influx of micro alliance drama. From random wars, spying, apologies, incoherent announcements... you name it, they've got it (except for size and experience). While at first I found the announcements/drama annoying, I've come to realize that it fills a role in our society: the same roll occupied by reality TV. What they do to each other has, for the most part, absolutely no effect on the CN Majority, yet its all played out on center stage in the OWF/AP forums for us all to see. We sit by, watch them fight and squabble, all the while knowing that its relevance in our lives lasts only for as long as we let it. We laugh, we facepalm, and usually laugh some more - all the while rooting for our favorites in their struggles. Then, in the end, just as you can turn off the TV you can close the thread and their effect on your life has been effectively closed down, and it is wonderful. Their drama gives us a break from treaty signings, government changes, and Vox vs. all argument threads, all without any risk to our own or our alliances well being. For all this I thank you, the inexperienced leaders of the micro alliances. Without you, CN would just be that much more boring.

what are your short-term goals as an alliance, aside from recruitment and growth

anyone else notice that a good percentage of the former players mentioned in this thread are banned? Says a little something about that process, to me at least.

if you're still taking questions/prompts: I'd love it if you'd comment on the influx of single person issues we seem to be seeing as of late - while generally the OWF is full on inter-alliance drama, as of late threads seem to be focusing on the plight of the individual. As kind of a tag on to that, the number of OWF 'pity plea' threads are on the rise, for both individuals and alliances in duress - any opinions on those issues?
