people who talk down to others usually have an inferiority complex and they do it as a defence mechanism. I suggest a therapist myself.

DT most likely shouldn't have went with the cheeky remark....but hindsight is always 20-20. In my opinion staying respectful goes a long long long way. You show respect and generally you get shown respect in return. You dont show respect and you get terms of 40K tech. Cheers.

Cut the !@#$%^&* Penkala, the moment you stop trying to justify punishing an action which you support in another arena then people might take you seriously instead of viewing you as just another mouthpiece.

Your argument breaks down to "might makes right", your side is allowed to do the exact same actions but when someone on the losing side does it, they have to pay. You're certainly not going to make any more friends admitting it, but at least the next time someone asks you a question they might believe they're getting an honest answer instead of a half-assed lie.

Not that anyone has raised the issue, or probably cares, but there's a line in those logs that I feel dishonors both FHU and DT, and is completely false.

DT never "sicked their protectorate" on anyone. We saw the odds being faced by DT and made the decision to help. We were NEVER approached by DT about entering war on their behalf. On the contrary, we sought them out. We saw it as a way to thank them for helping protect our sovereignty for 600 some odd days of our existence. They have been with us since our beginning. We wanted to make sure they knew we were with them, despite the odds. There were no illusions of grandeur. We knew what we were getting into and expected the results we received.

This was never a "bandwagon" affair. FHU would not have bothered entering war if we didn't think our friends were facing steep odds. Hence, you never heard of us before this war. Also see: "49" sigs DT is sporting. Enough with that theory.

To The Dark Templar: You are very welcome indeed. We wish we could have done more. And thanks back at ya.

Well, yes. I recall writing the first set of terms and sending them to CSN for their input, and I was told the 'apology haiku' might have been a sticking point. I wouldn't budge, and naturally the terms were declined.

Now I'm just as adamant about the apology, but I believe it should be a full stanza in trochaic octameter.

That doesn't negate that an apology was asked for first, and subsequently slapped down. I was understandably disappointed.
