May I also recommend a few other (lesser known) Bourbons in that price-range: Bulleit, Buffalo Trace, and Eagle Rare are around the $25 per bottle range, and in my very humble opinion are just as delicious if not more delicious than Maker's. Overlord Klein Posted June 1, 2010 Report Share Posted June 1, 2010 Another neat fact about Bourbon is that it was named after Bourbon County, Kentucky where it was originally produced (Not to be confused with Bourbon County, Kansas) I used to be a big Makers fan myself before I tried Woodford Reserve, which for the same $25-$30 I found to be considerably better.
