supercoolyellow
Who else had their alliance's tech deals screwed up by this whole peace mode thing? I've already been contacted by 3 people saying "OMG my tech seller didn't make their payments!" All because BTO nations were in peace mode. Its a good thing I don't know the specific person who came up with this strategy b/c it made a royal pain in my butt, as now I have to get tech deals back on track :/ Is anyone else having the same problem? Groucho Marx
We also seem to be having a problem with pointless threads too. This is the only reason I don't like war in CN.
Kevin McDonald
I'm sorry that running to PM inconvenienced your side. It inconvenienced us too.
KaitlinK
My Xeny Train got derailed by TPF's nonesense. Its going to be a !@#$%* getting everyone back on schedule. The only people I have sympathy for in this war are all the finance government officials in CN.

Touche, but it my defense, this post is short, and it will likely drop to down in world affairs over the next couple hours.
Bob Janova
Peace mode will screw up tech deals, yes. So will a war, generally; we've mostly been on a war footing for a week, so I think it's likely that many deals were suspended.
Eden Taylor
I'm still working on getting all my sanctions dropped, so I didn't notice any of my non-existent tech deals getting disrupted. Glad you told me about your woes, though.
Learz
Nothing like setting up 200+ million in tech deals hours before TPF got attacked.
Lord Brendan
Nothing like setting up 200+ million in tech deals hours before TPF got attacked. Ooh, that sucks. I feel for you. Luckily we were warned of upcoming hostilities before I did any work, so basically I got to take a week off from finance duties.
Little Fame Monster
I think most alliances tend to put out a policy to suspend tech deals during war... I don't think it should have come as a surprise that BTO, or any alliance that could have become involved in the war, suspended their tech deals. Fast Eddy
I actually kind of lucked out. I'll be able to free up a few aid slots fairly quickly because of this cluster$%&@ of a war. I completed most of my tech deals, and the only remaining thing to be done is way for the guy paying for the tech deal to get out of PM and send me the $3 million. Marty McFly
I froze tech deals with foreign alliances for the period leading up to CC's white peace. It didn't harm us much, since we can start up again at the drop of pin.
Prime minister Johns
I held off sending an aid package to a small nation I like and signing up for another round of tech deals, but aside from that I was not that badly inconvenienced since I was at the end of the cycle when the war came. Facade
That's why you don't go into peace mode. Unless you're like completely unprepared for a war and your nation would be completely ravaged unless you escaped into hippy mode. I somehow find it hard to believe that 90% of an alliance can be unprepared though.
