This alliance is founded on several principles: 1. All citizens should be well informed and participate in the governing of the alliance. 2. Quality of citizens is far better then quantity of citizens. 3. Friendship is the bond that binds an alliance together. With these principles fresh in our minds, we establish The Fellowship. The Fellowship will be an alliance where experienced players will be able to use their knowledge, talents, and skills to better themselves, their friends, and The Fellowship. It will be a place where Friendship comes before all else including stats. Admission to The Fellowship is not easy. A 7 day interview is conducted for all applicants and a 75% membership vote is required to be accepted into The Fellowship. Once accepted you will be part of some of the most experienced and knowledgeable players on planet bob. You will be lead by an open government and have a direct vote in the policies of the alliances. Thank you, Charter of The Fellowship Article I. Joining The Fellowship A. Those interested in joining The Fellowship must follow the following procedures: 1. State their intention of joining by starting a new thread in Recruitment Hall. The thread must contain the following information: Ruler Name: Nation Name: Nation Link: Nation Strength: Past Alliances: Why do you want to join The Fellowship? Do you know any current members of The Fellowship? 2. If a recruitment officer approves the application, they will be granted the mask of “Applicant.” Applicants are subjected to a one-week Q&A session. 3. An applicant must be active on both the forums and IRC during this Q&A session. 4. Once the one-week Q&A session is complete, a 48-hour membership vote will take place setup by a recruitment officer. For an applicant to move on to the next stage they must receive a 75% vote in the affirmative. Article II. Alliance Structure A. Triumvirate 1. The triumvirate shall be elected every 3 months. a. On the 1st of the month those interested in running will state their intention of doing so in the proper thread. b. Formal voting procedures will begin on the 3rd. The vote shall last 48 hours and the three candidates with the most votes will become the triumvirate. 2. The triumvirate shall have the following powers with a unanimous vote: a. Declare war or peace. b. Propose treaties to the general membership for approval. c. Appoint or remove ministers. d. Moderate the forums and IRC channels accordingly. 3. Triumvirate policy never supersedes the charter. All powers not specified within the charter however reside with the triumvirate. B. Ministers 1. The triumvirate shall appoint ministers within 24 hours after elections ended. 2. Ministers shall have the power to run their appointed section of government. They may appoint deputies to assist them with their duties. Deputies are subject to approval by the triumvirate. C. General Members 1. The members are the voice of the alliance that shall decide the direction The Fellowship goes in. 2. Members shall have the following powers: a. Approve all treaties by a 75% approval in the affirmative. b. Remove a Minister by a 75% approval in the affirmative. c. Remove a Triumvir by a 75% approval in the affirmative. d. Put any other member up for removal from the alliance. For said member to be ejected 66% of members must vote in the affirmative. e. Amend this charter with a 75% approval in the affirmative. Article III. Foreign Policy A. As we do believe in nuclear weapons as a valid form of weaponry, nuclear first strikes are permitted after unanimous approval from the triumvirate. B. Any act of spying against The Fellowship will be considered an act of aggression and war. C. We are bound by the terms of our treaties. Never will we not fulfill a term in a treaty.
