In the top nukes/member ranking, I have been listing the top 10 out of those top 40 nuke holders. I include alliances in that that have greater nuke/member scores than the 10th place alliance, that is why OG and OBR are in there this week, but listed in italics. However, OG and OBR both have over 20 members, so they show up on the alliance listings in CN. Kronos does not, so I missed you. But, since you guys are awesome, I'll include you on next weeks update Just gain a couple more members so it makes my job easier

#This statistic attempts to estimate the maximum nuclear stockpile with the formula: 20*MP + 5*HNMS + 20*TOP5 - 20*TOTALMEMBERS*%MP*%TOP5

It requires the assumption that there is NO CORRELATION between membership in the Top 5% and ownership of a Manhattan Project. In other words, the total contribution to nukes from MPs, HNMSs, TOP5% members less the cross term (20*TOTALMEMBERS*%MP*%TOP5). This is obviously an inexact assumption. There are both reasons why Top 5% members would have less MPs (they feel less need to purchase a Manhattan Project to own nukes) and reasons why Top 5% members would have more MPs (they are likely to big bigger and have begun running out of wonders). The assumption is more accurate from some alliances than others.

Ultimately, feel free to ignore this statistic if you don't trust the no correlation argument is the best estimate of maximum nuclear Capacity; I'm not going to individually count MPs amongst the Top 5%. It slightly overestimates alliances with proportionally many low NS nations and slightly underestimates alliances with proportionally few low NS nations.

Thanks Penguin. Thanks for the update and the new figures. I do think the capacity number for TOP is way off though, many of our 5% nations have MPs, and I think we are close to our capacity as is hence our nuclear growth mostly coming from new members.
