1.
So Polar sold their last remnants of the honor for one measly declaration on a TOP nation?
Exactly! You are quite right, good fellow.
2. Such bravado from an alliance that has proven so little.
3. I second Grub's query. Why are the Orders the only alliances who must be held accountable for their actions. I'm glad there is such an swelling of support for Athens actions.
4. Well, if you want some legitimate criticism, what about the OOC attacks Sam has resorted to? The ones that were arguably worse than what Sponge was accused of prior to the OoO being canceled. That alone tells me all I would ever need to know about Sam.
5. Are you even reading this thread, or are you just spouting off some nonsense that completely ignores the facts at hand?
6. Ursarkar, you put yourself in this situation with lies and insincerity. Don't baw now because Grub ran out of patience with you.
7. You are pathetic, Ursarkar. You're fortunate Grub is a much more forgiving individual than most.
8. Oh, boo. Couldn't wait another 20 minutes? We're up to 48.53 already
9. The new sigs are pretty sweet. But either way, I'm just thrilled to see such consistent growth from Polar.
10. Nice gains for Polar today. Very good stuff.
11. I think Avernite's account of this issue most matches what I would post up to the period shortly following GW3. It was my impression, given what I experienced, that had NPO not approached TOP for an MDP (and later the WUT treaty) that it would have taken much, much longer for TOP to become an influential alliance. Sure, by the time WUT was formed TOP was a powerful alliance in terms of NS, but it was relatively quiet diplomatically. I would also add that much of TOP's increasing respect and fame was from a significant propaganda effort by WUT alliances in the aftermath of GW2 and during GW3 when FAN and TOP destroyed Legion.
12. We lost well over 65% of our total NS. I don't have the figures in front of me, but I'd be shocked if Gramlins lost more strength per capita.
13. Gotta love being included in the shout out! I'm very happy to have my name on this document. o/
14. I read this term to include internal tech deals. Perhaps I, too, am reading it wrong.
15. It's probably not a smart idea to be dropping threats in your surrender thread.
16. I'm thinking tomorrow will be a good day.
17. Big gain for Polar today/tomorrow.
18. Like Random I've thought a lot about how to answer this question. The only thing I really regret was the handling of the TOP-CEN issue. Whether I would rectify that by not forming CEN or doing it in a different manner, I don't really know. But looking back on it, I wouldn't change what happened. If I didn't go through that debacle I wouldn't have joined NpO. So I guess I am glad things turned out the way they did.
19. Excited for update to see Polar with 3K nukes.
20. Bummer. You'll be missed, EB.
21. HRH, You give Random too much credit, and I don't mean that in a negative way towards the Diplomatic Shark. Random and SWC both would have handled the situation in a way similar to ES and we would have ended up in the same spot we did with Sponge at the helm.
22. I'm certainly glad to see this excuse of a unity bloc has come to a close. I also find Tela's pathetic attempts to slander Polar and BLEU to be quite amusing. Funny how she disappears when facts are presented. I seem to remember her being one of the loudest to beat the war drums when she was still active in BLEU.
23. Great to hear that our friends in STA are prospering.
