Seeing Circlewood's open hatred of NpO saddens me, especially given the strong relationship I've had with Lusitan and other members of TFD government over the past two years.
Considering the assistance we've given each other, and I gave to TFD not a week ago, I would expect him to behave himself at least slightly better.
I'm very disappointed.
I certainly know how much TOP valued their first MDP partner. While I'm no doubt chuckling at the "TOP-speed" joke, I realize that they engaged in a lively, and probably spirited, debate about this issue.
Good luck, TOP.
I don't understand why people feel the need to come into a thread like this and say "I saw this coming."
Good for you.
That being said. This looks to be a fine relationship. Now where is our tech

Except you're wrong. Because it did mean something to some of the leadership. So yeah. That's just incorrect. Polar leadership wouldn't have worked as hard as we did to repair the bond between the orders if we didn't have some faith in the OoO.
I disagree. Polar still was working very hard to keep relations as strong as possible between NpO and NPO. From my perspective, up until the time it was canceled, we still would have gone to hell and back for NPO. Canceling the OoO was a huge wave that shook Polar and did affect public perception.
I also disagree with Fallen Fool. From the outside, GOONS always looked like a friction point between the Orders. I always looked at the Drinking Buddies as NPO+GOONS and Polar on the outside.
I'll reference this post
And then I'll laugh at your comment about dropping a friend. Go read up on some history. You obviously have no clue what you're talking about.
Pardon me if I'm misinterpreting your post, but I read this as you believing we too, should bear the brunt of Karma's attacks for our previous misdeeds.
We have paid for our sins already. We fought our Second Patriotic War. We also paid for them more heavily in terms of reparations than any alliance on Hegemony's side has, thus far.
I find it amusing that so many people want to e-lawyer Grub's OP.
I will follow Grub wherever he leads me, and I have no doubt we have made the right decision here.
Polaris Rising!
Ah, indeed I did not see that DOOM declared on NSO. I am having problems (OOC: No internet at home) keeping up to date with all the declarations.
Needless to say, I don't quite understand why you two are so outraged by this. The New Polar Order is hardly cowards. We have made our intentions extremely clear from the beginning and you seem intent on ignored this, instead spouting the same line over and over.
