Apollo11
OOC: I'm just assuming that the space station and the base are being built and the cable being produced. Not much to RP here, because I don't really know what exactly is done in the construction of a space station... <.<It'll also take something like half a decade or more to finish the station. IC: Transports will be sent to bring the cable to Saboria. ooc: could atleast RP the launch of the modules into space for the station. heck get detailed thats what I do. HHAYD
We have resumed supplying oil to this project. Due to super massive profits from selling oil and uranium, we can send $5 million to this project. ------------------------------- OOC: Again, why not use solar panels? They generate a LOT more electricity in the outer space thanks to much stronger sun rays and hardly anything blocking the sun rays. Maybe we can install a giant solar panel farm, which will generate so much power that the space station has to send the power supply back to Planet Bob. Apollo11
OOC: Protective covers, or are there any that can stop the space dusts' scratching? ooc: not when the dust is doing Mach 10 or above. which a lot of it does.
HHAYD
ooc: not when the dust is doing Mach 10 or above. which a lot of it does. OOC: Then could the metal used in the space station can withstand the dusts' impact?
Apollo11
OOC: Then could the metal used in the space station can withstand the dusts' impact? ooc: nope, would need a lot of repairs overtime which would be a good topic to rp the solution. Wanatet Corporation wants to donate $100,000,000 to this project in return for allowing Wanatetan scientists to use this facility when it's completed. The station will be international, meaning that every nation will be able to send scientists.

V The King
OOC: Just assume I've began the production of cables since I last posted. IC: *** Classified to Saboria *** Since we last contacted you, major private corporation Carbono & Aço became interested in producing the necessary cables for the space elevator. Thus far, 2,500 Kilometers of cables have been produced and they're ready to be shipped to the construction site, due to arrive in a large convoy in about 72 hours. Unfortunately, we have not found yet a willing company wishing to supply materials for the space station because not many folks see the potential of the project - and the government is currently unable to provide significant subsidies. Let us know when we can ship the cables. /end of message Edited December 8, 2008 by V The King
Lynneth
The Agean Empire inquires as to if the nuclear fuel for the reactor has been obtained, and if you would like some workers to help build Most of the construction currently going on is that in space. The elevator's base is approximately at 70% completion, while the space station is only at 15%. The Power plants are at 80% completion and could go online in the minute they're finished. The most that could be done at the moment is either sending monetary aid or helping to create more cable. Approximately 23,000 kilometers have been finished by now. We also thank the Wanatet corporation for the donation. Edited December 8, 2008 by Lynneth

There is no spaceport near the construction site, which could get the cable into space, thus we use our shuttles. As for the materials for the space station, it is unfortunate that they do not see the potential of this, but not all businessmen can see when time for action has come. Thank you again for the participation.
HHAYD
Many companies here in Heska are willing to ship cables and other supplies to this project and hire workers to help out on the project, and we will pay those companies if you allow more help from us. Plus, we will send $15 million to this project.

Subtleknifewielder
There is no problem with you continuing to send food shipments. we understand that--however, that is not what we asked. And the armed escorts are to deter piracy only. People like that love tense situations like these, and may attempt to take advantage of it. Plus, we will send $15 million to this project. While we would appreciate the supplies and monetary aid, workers are currently not needed, as most of the work on the ground is done. The two main things that have to be done are the cable and the space station itself. Nothing will change with the elevator's schedule, be DKT at war or not. Even if we were at war with the entire world and had our country nuked into oblivion, we would at least try to finish the elevator's construction. We are a determined country. Lynneth
Is it possible you to allow other nations to continue the project without using your supplies or help except for instructions and plans? While the ground facilities can be completed as the other participants wish, the construction of the space station is halted until after the war, unless another nation of the world has a spaceprogram capable of delivering sufficient materials into space.
