We do however see no reason to stand in the way of a new Northlandic regime within the Netherlands and Great Britain, hoping such a state will prove an enrichment to Europe and a cooperative partner within the European community of states. Given this, we do accept your offer of talks and invite you to send to Bucharest an envoy, so as to discuss the matter of Northlandic-Romanian relations. Alternatively, should such not be possible, we are willing to meet in an alternative location, provided you specify it and it is safe and adequate for the task. As with all nations, we offer the Northlands an opportunity to dispatch an emissary and their staff to Dawnbreak to establish a diplomatic mission, so long as we are allowed to do the same." For this day only, death vodka was temporarily renamed life vodka as Russians proceeded to drink themselves into a drunken stupor because the Northlands prevails! It should be noted that alongside talks of relations between our nations, the status of Malta is of the highest priority for the Northlands. Malta is considered an integral part of the Northlands, as it has been for decades, and we are hopeful this situation can be resolved amicably." Markus Wilding Posted November 11, 2014 Report Share Posted November 11, 2014 With the return of the Northlands to the world stage, all was well as far as the Wehrmacht paratroopers in the Northlands were concerned, and as such they quickly got back onto their planes and went back home. Shortly afterwards a diplomatic note was sent congratulating the Northlands on reforming its government and extending official recognition to it. Private With the withdrawal of French and Alvonian forces from the Low Countries, the Northlands would resume administration of the homeland and begin to bring services online once more. An announcement was expected from the regent shortly, however all government workers were requested to report for work duties. Noordenwind would soon become the bustling site of activity and seat of government it had been before the British occupation of the territory. For his status as the man in charge of the Office for Foreign Affairs, he was especially young and his most striking feature was the lack of his left ear. He was well-rested for having spent the previous day in talks with the Regent and Lord Timmermans. He would greet the Romanians as he arrived, eager to begin talks with a state that had previously held pleasant, if not friendly relations with the Northlands. The Conducătora, like so often, gave herself modest and civil, wearing formal business clothing. As Van Gogh entered the room, she stood up for a greeting and gestured van Gogh to take the seat opposite of her at the table. "Bonjour, Monsieur. Mihaela Constante, I'm happy to see that the Northlands seem to have returned and sent an envoy to us. Please take a seat." Unusual for Constante's meetings, which she normally conducted alone, this time, next to her sat a, maybe a couple years younger, woman, dressed slightly more elegant in a dress. Although a good bit smaller, the difference was not too noticeable, as she remained seated. Compared to Constante, she looked far more important, as well as slightly out of place. Long dark blonde hair and vermillion eyes, she looked at van Gogh and politely nodded, as Constante merely stated. "Please don't mind her. Frederica is merely here to take notes and learn." Once all had sat down again, Constante asked, as Frederica took out a pen and quickly wrote down something. "Monsieur van Gogh, given your government has managed to organise itself again, let me congratulate you. These aren't easy times. What may I help you with today?"
