Greywall
House Blackburn "Know our fury" In the hub of White Harbor sits the Wolf's Den, one of the oldest holds in Westeros, home of House Blackburn. Mavon Blackburn has ruled White Harbor for the last thirty years, his sons now grown and his daughters nearing the age to be married off he should be happy. Instead Mavon is full of contempt with the other lords of Westeros and his prone to illness grows every year, gone is the proud strong warrior who fought alongside the Starks and Dracons, and old man bitter and cold like winter now sits in the Den. With White Harbor under their swordfish sigil, House Blackburn is relatively wealthy for a Northern House, though the city is small compared to Southron cities it's still a main central hub for Northmen and a vital dock connecting King's Landing and Winterfell as an alternate route from the King's Road. White Harbor is divided by the Old Gods and the New, a division that has reached the Blackburns, Mavon and his son Alwin follow the old gods while his remaining children sons Jory and Ser Ramsey and daughters Killy and Tara and follow the seven out of respect of their late mother. When campaigning to defeat the rebels of Godsgrace his company was slaughteredby hidden archers. Alone and wounded Ragnar held off for hours against the charging rebels. When reinforcements arrived, the bloodied Ragnar was brought before the Lord of House Fyrentes, named Lord of Godsgrace for his heroism in battle and titled the founder of House Buliwyf. High Emperor Aggron
House Fyrentes Lord Juri Fyrentes was born into power as his father was slain in battle making him an infant Lord. From since time was counted, the Fyrentesian realm had been independent. Refusing any king or queen and instead ruled by the Knighthood. A group of thirteen knights, the only knights in the Fyrentes, and their Lord. Utilising scare tactics, it had not been unknown for more than one knight to arrive on a field of battle and claim to be Lord of the Realm, as they all have Identical warplate. Today the independent realm of Fyrentes would march North in hopes of stopping the black shadow that has crept into westeros. Centurius
Winter is coming It is one of the more pragmatic statements of the various Houses, Stark's have always known loss and knew when danger was coming. Following the death of his father Lord Brandon Stark the position moved to the 18 year old Lord Jon Stark. As Warden of the North and Lord of Winterfell his armies are immense and his power ever strong. While lacking in actual combat experience he is a great general and wields the Valyrian steel sword Ice. The Stark family itself is of significant, with six brothers and eight sisters. The former known for their skills and the latter for both skills and beauty, While demanding obedience of its bannermen Lord Jon does not only take, he guarantees the security for all of the North and rewards those who display loyalty. Likewise his respect for law, protection of those not of standing and faith in the Old Gods make him beloved among his people.
Vidarr the Terrible
40 years ago, Ralof Aumatir led a revolt against the then Sealord of Braavos, promising the people to install an elected council who would make decisions on behalf of the people. What Ralof did not tell them was that his word would trump all. Ralof had one son, Vidarr, who made it a point to study under the best instructors the city's money could buy. When Ralof died, he left the city a more than competent Sealord. Vidarr decreed that all lands North of the Altarian Empire belonged to Braavos, and has been slowly campaigning to make that official. Vidarr's enemies have given him the nickname Vidarr the Terrible, which Vidarr adopted as a tribute to the lands he conquered. Other than conquest, Vidarr focuses on keeping Braavos at the forefront of trade across the Narrows, along with minimizing the city's expenditures, except for his professional standing army, of course. Evangeline Anovilis
Blooming Bright Ruling over Old Oak and the Shield Islands, House Mayflower has for a long time provided for the protection of the Reach from Ironborn and other threats from the sea. But while in the past, the Gardener Kings would reward the Mayflowers for their efforts to protect the fishing villages and farmholds along the coast, with the unification of Westeros, slowly the position of House Mayflower declined and while there still are pesky Ironborn trying the defenses of the Shield Islands from time to time, as times became more peaceful, House Mayflower finds itself as a minor house, forgotten and without special meaning. Like many houses in the Reach, the Mayflowers profit from the mild climate that provides for plentiful harvests and despite the slightly heighened expenditures for a permanent defense force, one would not be able to say the Mayflowers were poor. Recent events however do not seem to favour the House, as late Lord Timothy Mayflower died a tragic death when he chocked on an olive. With solely his daughter Lynette Mayflower left of a once proud house, what will be the future of the House?
iKrolm
Anongar BuzdariThe Anongar Buzdari are nomads who dwell on the northern edges of Old Valyria and, if the rumors are true, inside of it as well. An enigmatic people, the Anongar Buzdari are descendants of the slaves who mined the Fourteen Flames. Bred for generations in the harsh conditions and sweltering heat deep underground, the few who lived long enough to have children developed an uncanny resistance to the toxic air and water. At the Doom of Valyria, when most former slaves scattered across Essos the Anongar Buzdari stayed behind. Their reasons for choosing such an inhospitable home are not known, though the most popular theories suspect they remain out of loyalty to a dead house or because they had nowhere else to go. The more superstitious suspect the Anongar Buzdari are tied by blood magic to the ruins of Valyria and fear them as demons, though more often they are considered a spectacle by civilized areas of the world. The Anongar Buzdari are most commonly seen to the south of Mantarys traveling in small groups, usually no more than a hundred of varying ages. Sometimes seen tending temporary crops or hunting for animals in their travels, they appear to have no permanent presence and in times of peril will vanish entirely from the region, lending credence to reports that they venture into the scorched remains of the Lands of the Long Summer, and perhaps the ruins of Old Valyria itself. Conflicting accounts say they worship a god, a man or a demon dwelling within the ruins of Old Valyria, sometimes all three at once but the Anongar Buzdari decline to correct these rumors and keep their beliefs a secret. Both men and women dress in robes that fully cover the body with a hood drawn up over their head and face that is seldom removed in the presence of outsiders. In Westeros and the Free Cities, the Anongar Buzdari are a rare sight but do on occasion arrive as traders. In exchange for food, weapons and information they offer small amounts of precious metals and gem stones and, much rarer, small Valyrian trinkets made before the Doom. In the long distant past they are also rumored to have visited the Maester's Citadel, the House of the Undying, and Dragonstone too.
Horo the Wise Wolf
Cold in the midst of warmth House Svea, the Keepers of Rainwood, are a House of many generations past. A House that has persevered through years of content as they keep check of the Most Holy Forest of Rain. Of course, the term "Most Holy" is something coined only by them; whilst they do share many of their traditions with the denizens of the North, Svea has long been considered culturally and religiously backwards, when compared to the (also self-coined) avant garde innovators that occupy much of Westeros. Slowly falling from the memories of all those in Westeros, Svea itself has dwindled in kind. Long forgotten, now lead by the solitary Illya vi Svea; last of Her name, still faithful to the Old Gods... still watching over the forest. Coloradia
House Royce "We Remember" House Royce long stood foremost amongst the bannermen of the Kingdom of Mountain and Vale, but with the extinction of the male line of House Arryn during a great plague the Wardenship of the East, along with the Arryn lands passed to House Royce some two hundred years ago, returning it to the hands of those in whom the Blood of the First Men ran strong, and to the worship of the Old Gods. Yohn Royce took up the lordship while still a child, but twenty years have passed and he has forged a reputation as a doughty warrior and experienced commander. The mountain clans have suffered many a defeat at his hands and raids are more rare than ever before. He rules from the ancestral seat of House Royce, Runestone. Triyun
House Dracon "Men Die, Steel Rusts, but Gold and Family Endure." House Dracon is the wealthiest house in Westeros and possibly the most powerful. The House sits on Western lands home to the greatest mineral wealth in the Seven Kingdoms. Its territory is littered with mines of iron and gold, which fuel the industry of the seven kingdoms. This fuels the House's extensive influence across the Kingdoms. This has culminated first the previous patriarch being named Hand of the King and then in his son its current patriarch Tygett Dracon being betrothed to Ysabel Trastamati, the Crown Princess and heir to the Royal Trastamati Bloodline. It also is linked as the senior house to House Veynan, descending from the younger brother of the second to last Patriarch. Upon the birth of their first son the two bloodlines merged, with common heirs for both seats of power. House Dracon is known for being extremely protective of family but absolutely ruthless to its opposition. Dracon forces are known for some of the safest roads in the Kingdom because of absolute punishment of any criminality. The last two houses to rebel from House Dracon were destroyed utterly. KaiserMelech Mikhail
The Lhazareen are a peaceful agricultural people in southeastern Essos, bordering the Dothraki Sea. Although related to the Dothraki by descent, as shown by their similar appearances, they are their polar opposites culturally. While the Dothraki are nomadic and warlike, the Lhazareen are an agricultural people, living in towns and villages all over Lhazar. The Lhazareen are not a martial people, with the main weapons training being in spears and slings that they use to defend their flocks from predators. The Lhazareen are ruled from the capital city of Lhazosh, with the king being called "The Ram," and his wife, head priestess in the religion of the Great Shepherd, being "The Ewe." The Lhazareen are open to all travelers, as they believe that mankind is a single flock of the Great Shepherd.

The lands of Westeros fell into disarray. Bandits and charlatans plundered the land destroying both the physical and moral soul of the people in this country. Fearing invasion of the Wildmen of the North and even the potential collapse to the divided kingdoms of the east, our land seemed truly lost as aristocrats preyed on each other for the pickings of ravens. In this age of chaos, a single knight from a lowly house, Vitale di Trastamari banded together men of honor to protect his lands in the south where House Mayflower and House Dracon now stand. Through the cunning and bravery of this single knight the lands of the south were soon pacified and together with the noble lords of the north, Westeros once again knew peace. After the bloodshed, forcing villains of all walks of life back to their shadows, the Vitale stood victorious. It was then that he marched on the decay of King's Landing to proclaim a new age of order, peace, and prosperity. Decades passed and the King grew old with his only pride as a father to look down into the shimmering eyes of his daughter, Ysabel. When Vitale finally passed, Ysabel di Trastamari, first of her name was proclaimed Queen of all Westeros. Married to the illustrious House Dracon, Ysabel sees her father's work incomplete. She rules over a land still fractured from internal fighting amongst greedy aristocrats. The Kingdom looks to you, Queen Ysabel, to continue an age of peace! Will Westeros remain divided or will Royal authority lead to the creation of a united Westeros to end chaos, death, and darkness once and for all? Long Live the Queen! May her rule be ever prosperous!" ~ Alessandro di Lavenza, Royal Scribe
Yawoo
House Veynan Ours Is The Fury House Veynan rules the Storm Lands from the exceptionally formidable Storm's End, an ancient fortification which has never fallen to storm or siege. The Storm Lands are so called due to the large and ferocious storms frequently hitting the area, those that rule over her land are known as Storm Lords of which House Veynan is known as the Storm King. The Venynan house is linked to the House of Dracon, who is its senior house. Those with Veynan heritage are generally known to be exceptionally tall and powerfully built with dark hair and blue eyes. These physical attributes aside, Veynans suffer from sudden/unpredictable changes of mind or temper. The Storm Lands are relatively small compared to other famous areas of Westeros, but are one of the toughest areas to conquer due to the harsh weather, stony shores, mountains and forests. Lord Raven Shadowcloak, an elderly man of almost ninety years of age, saw that it would be disadvantageous to stand against this rising house and so he approached Lord Vitale di Trastamari and offered him his banner and with that he pledged his house to serve the Trastamari. Though House Shadowcloak lacks the men and equipment of a major house and they are even poorly equipped by the standards of a minor house they do have many skilled agents spread out across the land who observe the different houses and the many events and activities that they hold. They then report these back to the house hold through their ravens. With these agents house Shadowcloak maintains a small but highly trained cohort of assassins and murderers for those times when someone must be removed without anyone knowing. The current lord of House Shadowcloak is Garret Shadowcloak, the only son of Lord Raven and a visiting foreign dignitary from the lands to the east he was raised in the shadowy and brutal ways of House Shadowcloak. He learnt to never trust anyone but those from his own house and was tutored in how to use blades and crossbows for his own defense. Still young, having only just passed his twenty years of age he seeks to expand his house's power whilst still serving House Trastamari. MostGloriousLeader
The Altarian Empire FREEDOM, HONOR, GLORY! The Altarian Empire can trace its existence to over a thousand years ago when an exiled Valyrian noble arrived at the city of Volantis, then a city renowned for its prominence in the slave trade. Disgusted by what he saw he raised an army centered on his followers and mercenary groups and led a slave revolt that overthrew the city's leadership. In their gratitude the now free slaves declared the Valyrian as their new ruler and gave him the title Altaris the Liberator, under whose leadership the city thrived, now renamed as Altaria. Forming a large and well disciplined army he embarked on campaigns of liberation to bring the regions of the free cities into the new Empire while also campaigning against the slave trade. By Imperial command it was decreed that slavery would be abolished throughout the free cities. The hundreds of ships used by the slaving merchants were seized and used to form the Great Essos Merchant Company which grew to enormous size and wealth generating massive amounts of money for the Empire which in turn used its new found wealth to expand its military and borders as well as building trading outposts throughout the world to grow. The Empire's new wealth, however, attracted the attention of the Dothraki, whose constant raids were erupting into full scale war. Every year the dothraki hordes came and every year the Imperial Legions beat them back, but at great cost to the empire. This went on for centuries until it was decided to erect the great wall of essos, taking inspiration from the wall that guarded the northern borders of westoros. Standing 50 feet high and spanning over 1200 miles along the Sarnor River and into the painted mountains it was created and manned as a joint effort of the Empire and the city state of Braavos which formed a formidable barrier for any Dothraki horde. The period that followed the completion of the wall was a period known as The Long Peace where agriculture, industry, culture and trade thrived which continues to this very day. Now the empire is led by Altaris the Great, who fought the last great battle against the Dothraki two decades ago when a massive horde breached the wall and the Imperial Army met them in the Battle of the Painted Mountains. The defeat of the Dothraki led to a mutual respect and peace between the empire and the hordes that has lasted since. The Emperor has since turned his attention to the growing ties between Essos and Westoros and expanding trade but the constant reports of activity in Dothraki territory becomes more worrisome every day. Ovidsidios
Bladian House [Banner no longer. Passed down stories depict a seven pointed star with a straight sword pointed upward, and a scimitar crossing perpendicular with the curve bowing downward. Both swords were center of the star with a teal colored background and the words "Of The Sword" as house motto] The Bladian House (or House Bladian) is a house dissimilar to many others. Unlike Houses that originated through progony, marriage, conquest, or wealth, House Bladian was the product of divine patronage. Legend has it that a warrior had been traveling on road near the lands of Freyentes. Upon reaching a crossroads found a couple of highway men about to rob and likely kill a poor beggar man. At the risk of his life, the warrior killed all the highwaymen in armed combat and saved the beggar. Instead of the fallen bodies decaying as they would have, they instead vanished and only the beggar and the nameless warrior remained. The beggar revealed himself to be one of the faces of the seven, and instructed him to travel further down the road until he came about a liege and his house. Before he left, the beggar changed the warriors name to Bladian Croix (as a sign of favor). Bladian Croix arrived by nightfall to a lord's land and enormous mansion. The lands had been a very wealthy trade center with very peaceful neighbors. As a result, a need for building large walls and stone edifices had been neglected for centuries. However, recently a band of unified bandit tribes under a single ruler became their most recent oppressors and had fallen victim of this Bandit King's reign. Bladian Croix, visited now by the beggars more true form, the warrior, was told to meet the bandit king on the battle field alone carrying with him a sword of a deep emerald make. The challenge to the bandit king was that he would win the sword and the patronage of the divine if he succeeded in slaying Bladian Croix. If he died, the bandit army would renounce their ways and Bladian Croix would become their new leader. This event substantiated a previous dream the bandit king had, and haught with the thought of victory, accepted the challenge. Bladian Croix, the more combant capable and favored of the fighters, decapitated the bandit king in a blinding flash (a sure sign of his favor). The entire bandit king army, a score of thousands, who witnessed the battle rejected their allegiance to the Bandit King and swore allegiance to Bladian Croix. With no longer the trade routes pillaged by bandits, or heavy taxes upon the city, House Bladian was formed and boomed with economic success. That night during the celebrations, the warrior visited Bladian Croix for the final time, and told him to never lose sight of how his prominence was a gift from the seven. Therefore, as the only condition to maintaining his house, fame, wealth, and lands no warrior who'd pledged fealty under the banner of Bladian was allowed to wed or have children. This sign would ensure that no one man or woman ever forgot that it was the gods, not their own merits, that would ensure their survival. And for hundreds of years that vow never faltered. Until one night, in secret, the heir to House Bladian broke the oath and married. The blind seer who was used to scry into the lives of the warriors to know who had broken the oath (their immediate execution to please the seven and maintain their favor) was forbidden from scrying on the leader of House Bladian. As a result, The Warrior of the Seven revealed himself for the final time cursing the House Bladian and the heir prince. During the following months House Bladian saw a tumult of economic failures, raids, internal strife, and the eventual conquering armies of House Fyrentes (whose banner in similar likeness to that of House Bladian was the coup de grâce of their lost favor with the seven). The King of the army, seeing their impressive warrior skills (and even some in their unyielding zeal as some act of contrition) decided to enslave the Bladian warriors in service to house Fyrentes. The warriors, houseless, hopeless, and without favor, accepted the terms of surrender. Now they serve as mystic warriors to the house in the hopes that their devotion and loyalty to their warrior conquerors will regain them the favor they lost so long ago. Though they must swear oath to the words "Ever Unbending, Ever Unbroken" inscribed on many warriors still are those words, to that old house: "Of The Sword" Anundil Sirobeir-The current mystic leader to the Bladian Warriors. He speaks little, and when he does, it is only to the seven blades (a pseudo government for maintaining the large body of the current warrior sect). He spends most of his time in council with Lord Juri Fyrentes, but otherwise in his free time in deep meditation and practicing his sword play. Although honored among the ranks of soldiers, he leads no army but the Bladian warriors, prefers an austere lifestyle and subsequently abstains from all frivolities where otherwise not expected him by the king (which is imitated by all Bladian warriors). His dream is to one day see the freedom of the warrior sect, and return to the lands (or new ones) under the patronage, not of the king, but The Warrior. PresidentDavid
House of Magnar "Through The Snow and Rocks" Skagos The very thought of Skagos and its people brings rumors and legends of cannibals, barbarians, and unicorns in the rigid islands that all sailors fear. Some areas covered with forests, other places more mountainous, Skagos is sparsely populated by numerous tribes of intimidating peoples who have warred and killed each other for centuries. Rumor holds, in fact, that the island of Skane has no inhabitants because the Skagosi slaughtered and cannibalized the men there and brought back the women as prize. This rumor, however, may very well just be that. A rumor. The various mysteries that shroud Skagos are irrelevant however. The House of Magnar existed long ago before it was overthrown from within and Skagos was brought back into general anarchy and at the mercy of each tribe on the island. After another era of disorder, the same Magnar family name but with different leaders and family members then in the long-ago past now rule. Their loyalties are first to the people of Skagos. Throughout history, Skagos has remained isolated from the outside world because of its small population, inaccessibility and being known for minding their own business. King Forseti Magnar, chosen to be High King of Skagos and the surrounding islands, is recognized by the Chiefs of all the major tribes. The Chiefs are the closest thing Skagos has to nobility, though they and their people are shrouded in as much mystery as the islands themselves. Forseti has a Queen and is blessed with five daughters and two sons - all of which are educated and the sons educated in the arts of war and politics. Though there are rivals of the King in the islands, none want to see a united Skagos fall. Prosperity, while little compared to the rest of the world, is greatest in the islands when they work together and take a break from killing each other. The unity of Skagos would most likely go unnoticed because it has little political importance and power. But its traditions and rich culture are nothing to take for granted. Especially the relations the people of King Forseti have with The Haunted Forest. King Forseti is known for his wisdom but has a short temper when confronted with stupid situations with stupid people. His is quiet and only speaks when necessary, and when it does his words usually mean more then what first perceived at face value. Captain Enema
The Iron Islands, long known for their insular ways, are ruled by Ser Harten Danelock. The old Greyjoy family had fallen into dire straits due to Balon Greyjoy not siring a son. The daughter, Melan Greyjoy married Ser Harten Danelock and he took up the mantle of the leader of the Iron Islands and the problems associated with it. The years passed, the marriage of Melan and Ser Harten prospered and then sadly Melan died giving birth to a son. King Timmy
Vaes Feshiht Vaes Feshiht, the City of trees. This Dothraki clan is very different to most Khalasars. Whilst they still have many horses, they have given up their nomadic lifestyle and become resident in the forest north of Vaes Dothrak. They have become extremely adapt at living in their new domicile, leaping from tree to tree. As well as their new found home they have discovered a new type of weapon. They use the natural resource they have more of than any other living in a forest, wood, to craft the finest bows they can muster, reforging any extra blades into deadly arrow heads. They have no reason to leave their home and have no thoughts of expansion, but should unwanted visitors venture into the forest the quietest Dothraki archers will follow them unnoticed and have no qualms in adding to the many bodies lining the outskirts of their forest. Led by Khal Argo they have no banners, no words and they answer to no-one. By the way, is it the actual soldiers ingame we use or the modified one? Jarl Frost
House Canmore The Canmore's did not start high on the chain of nobility. Indeed, there is speculation that the family is not Highborn at all, given that records of the family's history do not extend very far in history. The first recorded instance of the Canmore clan starts with Edward Canmore, a hedge knight from the North. Claiming to be born in Karstark lands, Edward Canmore served various Northern lords for most of his career, amassing a small amount of wealth which provided a humble but livable means for his family. His son, Alexander Canmore, also became a knight and traveled south to earn his fortune. It is in the lands of House Dracon that Alexander Canmore earned the family great honors, when House Lefford of Golden Tooth foolishly thought they had the capital to usurp House Dracon for control of the Westerlands. For his role in putting down the the rebellion, Alexander Canmore was given House Lefford's previous lands, including Golden Tooth itself. Golden Tooth is now ruled by Conner Canmore, Alexander's son, whom he had late in his life. Conner has a mixed reputation; known for both his generosity with his wealth, and also too much generosity with his wealth (as well as a penchant for alcohol). For a time, it was expected that House Canmore would run itself into poverty, fueling the speculation of it's low birth and impropriety of Lord Conner. But in recent years the wealth of the House has begun to rebound, and rumors from the towns in the region suggest that the management of the House has fallen to Conner's son, Duncan... King Timmy
Is there going to be different rules depending on what type of race people choose? For example, every Dothraki has a horse but cavalry is limited. They also aren't going to use armour or weapons like the Westerosi are. In the rare chance that I actually have to go to war this could have a significant impact. I'm willing to lower my soldier count significantly to get a few more horses.
