My point is that in both wars the sides formed and then a reason for war was found. Claiming the "it was defensive" moral high ground in either case is absurd. In both cases each side wanted war as much as the other. An actual defensive war is something along the lines of the NoV war, the War of the Coalition and the GPA war where only one side wanted war.

I bet you think that ~ was the defensive side in UJW too. The strategy taken by Sponge in UJW and by Karma in this war were basicly identical. It was executed very well in both cases. I think you are under-estimating how well Karma played this. Several high-profile Karma alliances were heavily hinting that they would be on NPO's side until the very moment that war was declared. It was a trap and a damn good one at that.

Karma's entire strategy was based on baiting the Hegemony into a trap. That is not a passive defense by any stretch of the imagination. They were actively planning the destruction of their supposedly close allies.

What's your point? GtG just admitted to actively working to undermine/destroy Q while Sparta was still a member of Q. The word honor is the last word that could ever be used to describe Sparta.

What part of Karma do you not understand? Karma is an exclusively inward looking concept i.e. you are responsible for your own actions and no one elses actions. Karma is some guy who gets away with murder getting killed by a random passing car or sleepwalking off a cliff etc. If the victim's brother goes and shoots the murderer that is not Karma, that is pure revenge. Karma was an extremely poor choice of names considering its only application in this scenario is that eventually something bad will happen to those administering the terms. By the same token if NPO is the one delivering that "something bad" it will not remotely qualify as Karma.

I trust you will be leading the diplomatic charge. As far as the argument about what would have happened if MK and Valhalla went 1v1 in this war I will say this. Both alliances would have been limping around after the war because we both would have fought hard. I believe MK would have won due to superior nuke and nation numbers. Nothing more needs to be said.

I have zero bitterness toward any of the alliances we fought, they all conducted themselves well and fought well. I see no reason to aim at them for revenge.

I highly doubt that you were even aware of the situation I am referring to. This was not something that the general membership ever even knew about. It happened soon after I was first elected Marshal and the few people that knew about it agreed that it was further proof of noWedge's instability. The reason nobody pointed that out is because notice of an initial intent to war OV was given to Q government before MHA even left Q. So yes, your government most certainly knew that was coming. MHA had already joined Karma long before that so fighting on NPO's side was kinda out of the question. NPO's attack was not a breach of your treaty with them except in your little dream world.

No, but the rush of TOP members in our channel when I banned Sky the other night clued me in. It was kinda obvious. The proof will come in due time. Handled properly is a relative term, you just want it handled quietly because its true and because that truth makes TOP look bad. I for one am not interested in making TOP look better, that ended the day I was taunted by Ice[TOP] in #umbrella while I was having a polite conversation with my opponent. My interest is more along the lines of Sky being portrayed accurately and not being able to sweep it quietly under the rug. Your order is wrong...... Thanks for trying though. And you are right, Sky's mistakes go beyond the recruiting issue. I believe I alluded to them a couple pages ago. It a big dark world out there, if she wants to pull shady moves then she better be ready for the backlash. At some point she has to learn that spamming and making cool sigs does not excuse what she did.
