I won't deny that. But, that's not the point here. The point is people claiming that everyone there was ready to roll, when in fact, they weren't. It has nothing to do with being scared, it has everything to do with correcting misconceptions.

No one is denying anything. No one is backpedaling. It just bears to mention that there were people in that room who were not convinced with the CB and needed more time to digest it before making a decision. I should think that would be a positive and not just running willy-nilly with whatever weak CB was there. Perhaps you should pay more attention to that, rather then just "Well, they were in the room, so they were down with the CB and were ready to roll GOONS." I don't see how you can backpedal from something when you weren't even going in a particular direction.
