  1. TBF of the three sanctioned alliances TTK was at war with during the recent war (not counting Umbrella), I consider NpO to have been the most effective, despite only being at war for a few days. Of course NpO's strength is much lower than NPO's and VE's, so it may well be a case of the majority of their fighting nations being out of range due to Umbrella and DBDC destroying our uppers so early on, but just what we experienced.
  2. Didn't want to post in this dumb thread, but felt the need to interject. Morphine, if you want to declare war on ISX, do so. Usually I am the kind of stick-up-the-arse guy who would moan about such an action, but at this point even I'm not inclined to object. What irritates me is open support for rogues, perhaps from your perspective you are only supporting your alliance mate, but if he would prefer to go off and rogue people than be a productive member of your alliance, he frankly doesn't deserve your support. As for the "ally ultimatum", I must put myself in the position of being allied to an alliance at the receiving end of such an ultimatum; someone hits a TTK ally, for example, SUN or Invicta, or CotM, we really don't give a !@#$ if whatever alliance considers the rogue in question a member of their government, someone hits our allies, and our help is requested, then we are there for them, simple as that. It doesn't matter if it is an alliance war, a couple or rogues, one rogue, or an idiot noob without guerilla camps, good alliances honour military treaties, threatening alliances for that is called getting your alliance into aggressive wars.
  3. Preamble The Children of the Morrighan and the Templar Knights, hereinafter referred to as the signatories, in the spirit of friendship and cooperation, pledge to uphold the articles of the Optional Defence and Optional Aggression Pact outlined herein. Article I: Sovereignty In recognition of each other's sovereignty, which shall not be infringed, the signatories agree that they shall not interfere in the internal and external affairs of one another. Article II: Non-Aggression The signatories will hereafter refrain from all forms of hostile activity and aggression against each other, such as conspiring/committing espionage and the use of military force. Article III: Intelligence Should either signatory come upon intelligence which pertains to the safety or stability of the other, they are required to share this intelligence with their co-signatory. Article IV: Aid & Financial Transactions The signatories are encouraged, but not obligated, to engage in financial transactions to their mutual benefit and to assist each other financially in times of need. Article V: Optional Defense and Aggression If one signatory comes under assault from a hostile alliance, they may ask the other for military aid. The other signatory has the option of giving military aid and assistance. If either signatory intends to undertake aggressive military action against a third-party, it shall communicate this information to the other promptly. The other is not obliged to provide military support under these circumstances, but may do so if it wishes. Article VI: Cancellation Once ratified by the signatories, this pact shall have full effect. Should either alliance wish to cancel this pact, a 72-hour notification must be given before the pact can be considered void. 4. Most Alliance Casualties 6/4/2017 1,317,876,229 The is a "Most Alliance Casualties" record, but at the moment no alliance is listed. Historically this has been NPO, so I would assume that would be the recipient alliance currently as well.
  5. Ah I see more of what you mean. Still respectfully disagree however, they kept their tech sellers split across multiple AAs which were protected by others. After all NpO didn't care what alliance DBDC tech farms were on during the Doom War, it didn't work out for them.
  6. I'm sure that their changing of AAs, and not the fact that have 1/10th of the world's land and 1/40th of the world's tech between the 12 of them is the reason they were so successful.
  7. Correlation does not mean causation, even if it did, that was a very different time.
  8. I knew we needed a new recruiting guy... A chance to do what? Buddy up with Oculus? What is it with people boasting about doing more damage than those with less tech? No !@#$@#$ !@#$ Sherlock, also in the news, DBDC doing more damage in 1 war than you did in your last 9.
  9. It's VE, they're used to having people harassing their low tiers... I doubt they will notice at this point.
  10. I feel like I'm spamming this thread a bit at this point, but just to state a few things: Most importantly, I don't want people to think clause 6 was imposed on us by NG or whatever, both sides consented to that, NG aren't being bully's here. I'd like to thank Caustic, Schrodinger and Lord of Darkness for helping to get this over with. Finally rI'di likep tos given myx thanks to all our friends and allies for the support they have given TTK this war.
  11. Seriously? Your MoFA No, I didn't spend 20 minutes formatting this and bolding for a fake announcement.
  12. 7. M3D, RIA and TTK secretly agree to [REDACTED] Indeed that's a lot of sigs. I was literally 3 minutes late from bolding all the alliance names. o/ peace
  13. 1. The alliances TTK, RIA, CRAP, SUN, NADC, Invicta, OG and Legion agree to peace with the M3D/Oculus coalition consisting of the alliances of NG, NoR, TLR, NPO, IRON, Umbrella, ODN, VE, NpO, DT, GATO, NATO, SLAP, GLoF, COBRA and The A-Team. 2. No further wars are to be declared by either side as of the posting of this announcement, existing wars may be ended at the discretion of the nation rulers in question. Any wars declared after this agreement shall result in reparations. Exceptions are made to this in clause #6. 3. TTK, RIA and CRAP agree not to provide support to more than one candidate *between them* per election in the Maroon senate. The need for this term shall be reviewed after a period of six months. 4. The alliances of M3D and the Chestnut Accords agree not to sanction one another or to otherwise intentionally use their senate seats to the other party’s detriment. 5. Alliances getting peace agree to not reenter or provide financial assistance in any of the ongoing conflicts against Oculus and its allies. 6. The alliances of TTK and RIA shall remain at war with the entirety of the M3D bloc for a period of 13 additional days, at which point clause #2 shall come into effect. 14. I have not been around for as long as many, so please correct me if something I say is factually inaccurate; In every political grouping historically there has naturally been a mixture of efficiencies within each sphere or grouping of AAs, some would purchase at good* rates and others at not so good rates, all with varying slot efficiencies. There would also be a decent number of alliances that worked towards running at the highest efficiencies, and although many of them might be clustered together, they would overall be distributed throughout the game politically, this ensure that even when the game was heavily tilted (which it almost always was) there was at least some competition between the two opposing side. Of course activity decline over time and you end up with fewer alliances working towards high efficiencies. Then the 3 major alliances with said high efficiencies ally one another and the other side is put into a position where they cannot compete. Now we have it where only 3 major alliances have systems where they work towards high slot efficiency buying at good rates: NPO, IRON and Umbrella. (Umbrella is amazingly below 70% for the first time since I have been checking.) 2 smaller alliances I can think of have implemented their own systems: ISX and SLAP (although ISX is not what you would call a good rate) A handful of other alliances in the top 40 put in a decent amount of work trying to get tech production going at a decent rate, but with varying amounts of success. That is tech production in 2017 in CN in a nutshell. So I don't think these policies have made it a two tier game, because these policies mostly seem to pre-date the current tiers emerging. I think slot efficiency is of greater concern than rate, quite honestly; if you're in a typical AA where half of the alliances uses none of its slots at any given time, and the other half only uses at average of half of its slots, you are looking at 25% efficiency. Now switching from 6/100 to 6/200 is a 33% increase in tech intake, from 9/200 to 9/300 is a 12.5% increase, that simply isn't going to make enough of a difference to help catch up/keep level with the aforementioned AAs. I also think it is an error on your part to think that Junka is the only one outside of Oculus to consider such things, others simply post less frequently on the OWF about their intentions. *Used "good" to mean more tech per lot of cash.
  15. Well if that was a possibility then; why didn't you?
  16. Ultimately "raiding" is just launching wars with the intention of making a tangible profit; tech, land, xp, money, or casualties. Who's considered an acceptable target for raiding is up to the individual alliance and raider. In some cases this decision may be based upon respect for the sovereignty of other alliances, however in others the raider can afford not to care about such niceties and will raid whoever they think they can get away with without taking damage, so the decision whether or not to raid is mere risk vs reward. Alonso was engaged in high risk raiding against those who he judged wouldn't provide any real opposition, he did very well for a while, acquiring a lot of land, although a few people did fight back and some did quite significant damage (which undoubtable contributed to his small warchest) I know because I kept a close eye on his warscreens over the last few months. I also knew that eventually (assuming he continued) he would make a poor judgement and he would get his nation (and possibly the rest of PoSSE) beaten up for it. This is that; WAPA was obviously not a smart AA to raid in hindsight. Some of us would like to bring ethics in to this, but more important are the facts: Alonso engaged in high risk raiding against aligned nations. He inevitably made a misjudgement resulting in him being countered. He then decides to stop logging in to avoid the consequences of his actions. PoSSE then decides to defend their sociopathic government member who is happy for them to all to face the consequences of his wars, but has little enough attachment to dodge them himself. That's it.
  17. Err... I mean I know OWF trash talk is a thing, but with the application of some logic it would be pretty clear than all of our fighting nations at or above that level did fight to ZI and have kept fighting, since we have been at war with a much larger force for like 2 and a half months now. The people left in that range are primarily either way too inactive to fight in any capacity, or people that literally joined when TTK was an effectively neutral alliance and have kept to those ways, why would we bring either group out of PM? This hasn't changed the rate of peace being achieved at all. On a somewhat related note there seems to be a trend of people implicitly or explicitly expressing the idea that our side has intentionally been stalling the progress towards peace for no good reason. I don't know where this has come from, but really isn't the case.
  18. Of that I have no doubt, onwards indeed. I feel as if you hatred of Mogar is annoying me. My alliance is fighting half of the game ATM, Mogar launch like 3 wars in the low-mid tier against SNX over a year ago, and yet you seem more angry than I am. Get over it.
  19. Being in Umbrella's Discord channel, I wouldn't describe Auctor as "former Umbrella".
  20. I'm sure Auctor is a good fighter, but not sure you can blame everything on a single nation joining the enemy. Also lol at Alonso going inactive immediately after screwing over his alliance.
  21. ... Well I can't disagree with much of that, but isn't it all a bit hypocritical?
  22. Well your war is completely separate to the other wars going on, plus WAPA is actually smaller than PoSSE , so your complaints are pretty unjustified. On an unrelated note, how are you enjoying bending over and giving away your land and tech?
