  1. This announcement lacks a teamspeak server for me to make a drunken $@! of myself. o/
  2. The only 40 oz I drink anymore: Kaiser beer; for those whose chest hair count rival that of bigfoot.
  3. Open slots again. Any takers? PS: Bump
  4. I, for one welcome our new zombie overlords! Congrats on the elections. Wickedj? Gov? AWESOME!!!
  5. This thread turned into a GOD recruitment thread after page 3. Awesome job there! As for the whole "stop the grudge" mentality; yeah, sure, whatever. Talk to me after you let go of the grudge on the NPO. Double standards FTW?
  6. hahahaha, I'd love to see someone make NPO pay those reps
  7. Double post... my bad. I've had a wee bit too much to drink Cheers
  8. Too true. I find that my interest in CN/nation's activity spurts substantially after a few. As for the topic; the reps aren't really that surprising or harsh. The only real shocker here is that these substantial numbers weren't repeated with other alliances that recieved white peace before IRON. [OOC]Thanks much. It was inspired by something I found out, that I have in common with my gf after watching a movie. Talk about irony. At least now we know what the true cornerstone of world unity will be [/OOC]
  9. I can relate. I sure know that the alchohol consumption makes me illiterate on weekends
  10. I demand a bottle of liquor and a carton of smokes from Echelon as reps. Nothing more, nothing less. Don't really have a feeling one-way or another about all the other alliances out at war. To quote Rudyard Kipling, "As long as I have my eats and my smokes, what more could I possibly want?"
  11. Title says it all. Send all pm's m'here. Non-combatants only, please. Love, me
  12. Because little orphan annie needs some time in the spotlight or else he'll goes off on another hissy-fit.. Umm... Congrats on derailing the topic and attempting to become the town attention-whore again?
  13. Too lazy to spell-check/correct grammar. Bite me I've said it before and I'll say it again; I was much happier when our group later coined "Karma" (ps. the name originated from the very-well written topic made by Archon. There were no real consensus about the name; a number of us simply thought it fit. I still think it should apply) was a small group of alliances with one dedicated goal, which was a small defensive coalition about to get ZI'd over OV, and we were happy with that. We were outnumbered, outgunned, and only cared to defend our allies. However, given the crazy amount of alliances that jumped in during the final days leading up to the war, had their own opinions about the alliances in question that would jump in support of the NPO. We had to concede our original focus, and there were many that took it out as a grudge against the NPO. No problem there, as they all had valid reasons behind it and it served our interests as well. Then days before the war started, we realized that the dissolution of the continuum was very-well in our grasps as the small band of allies grew substantially to form what you see today. However, with the addition of so many alliances, came the addition of many more opinions. Our objectives were essentially changed (to the dismay of a many groups), as our small defensive coalition became outnumbered by the groups that had it in for the NPO. Taken out of context, and spun out of control; that's what you see today. As you see it today, with these surrenders, is simply alliances within Karma attempting to protect their allies over harsh terms. With so many conflicting opinions that exist, it's almost impossible to get the thousands of nations involved to agree on one goal. In my opinion, taking down the continuum was not, and should not be the purpose of Karma (and I’m sure MANY people within the coalition would disagree with that, and they are rightfully entitled to say it). If we told the existing alliances that still fight what treaties they should/should not have, then we’re no better than the Hegemony. I do agree, though, that the people involved with tC that have prevented other’s from playing the game and dissolved many great alliances should be held accountable for their actions, as we all should. But saying “No. You should be allies” is wrong. We can’t spoon-feed people their friends. However, given our “objectives” have changed multiple, multiple times, I could be and probably am wrong. But this is what I witnessed during the evolution of Karma. You could argue all-day about what we should do or why it’s wrong, but it changes nothing at the end of the day unless the people involved get behind it. Thank you Tyga. That had to be said.
  14. It's all about subjective interpretation. There's nothing wrong with either interpretation, but the reasons behind the words are what I find amusing. No worries. Have a good night
  15. I hereby blame ES for the global recession, the swine flu epidemic, the Karma War, and why the GRL is so high at the moment. Please make a thread correcting this information, because, you know, being technically correct + CN PR is just so important. This is like the third or fourth thread attempting to "correct" the masses. I honestly think it's more trouble than it's worth at this point. Besides, I think it would be quite awesome to be blamed for the digital death of hundreds of nations. That's a very nice selling point on any resume.
  16. I think it was moreso implying that the subject matter behind the cancellation is not up for discussion, and not for anyone's amusement. I beg to differ, as my spectrum for amusement is vast Sorry, late reply.
  17. I respectfully disagree, for I'm amused . And if my crappy english classes back in college have taught me anything; it's that it's completely up to the person receiving the information to make an assessment of how he/she should interpret it. Although, in my eyes, the words just make pretty pictures of dancing carebears. o/'s and all that hoosefudge all around
  18. The next logical step is to DoW the evil CN-Staff alliance, buddy. My army of evil sewer mutants await your command
  19. /me declares drunken war out of spite. Good luck with that one, whoever.
  20. VD seems like an acceptable acronym. Minister of syphiliphic affairs works out well for an FA position. Ehh..? Didn't know the word Vox was copyrighted. My bad
  21. Soooo........ War by proxy's-proxy's-proxy's-proxy? That's pretty hilarious.
