  1. Mediocre is generous. They are all but irrelevant.* * Squad; not kingdom.
  2. Code word: WALL. Phase 2. Long live the true NAAC.
  3. Cuz we all started playing in college and wars always happened when we had free time (i.e. winter/summer/spring break)
  4. Make a blog that says the exact same thing as my post; why not just respond to my post...
  5. You're giving yourselves too much credit. Sengoku doesn't care enough about MI6 to 'bait' you into a war by spying on you. Pedro was bored and spied, end of story. If Sengoku wanted a war with you, they'd just start one. They probably only hated MI6 prior to this so they can sit at the lunch table with the cool kids. Or at least that'd be par for the course for them.
  6. I'm not saying it's only Aztec Sengoku who is bad* for following DKs war start. But it is only Aztec Sengoku who is defining themselves as being honorable because while they didn't agree with DKs war start, they just followed treaties like they always do. (OOC: Combining what was said from both threads here) * = I would also like to point out that 'bad' is your word. I wouldn't use that terminology as I'm not moralist; the point is that by being on the coalitions side in a war (especially if you were part of the planning process) makes one equally responsible. And because I love a bit of drama I'd like to point out that it is Aztec Sengoku who once again has to call their allies in; even to defend themselves in a minor OWF skirmish. P.S. As for it not being skype; thats fair. Its been a long time and I don't remember where the logs were from, just the general gist of them and the fact that Aztec Sengoku was represented. (By Auctor iirc).
  7. I'd have to disagree with you. When woodstock happened GPA was the largest alliance by about 10 score. There was a period between them passing NPO and NPO getting everyone on the same page to actually hit them iirc. Val, TOP, TPF, NPO, IRON NATO and Umb are the only ones who actually hit GPA. MI6, by comparison, is facing a similar sized coalition of alliances and is only 1/4th the size of the largest alliance. That would make this the most lopsided war that includes sanctioned alliances on both sides.. there were plenty of other micro curbstomps that I'm sure were more lopsided. The PB versus the 20 Mongols/Kaskus nations is my favorite example :awesome: Are you saying you did were not in the coalition skype channels and did not know (or have a good idea) of how it would chain out? By defending DK from their repercussions (i.e. allies of the alliance they attacked) you defend their original declare.
  8. I mean they did spy MI6 out of boredom and then proceeded to fail said spy attack.
  9. The examples are irrelevant. You could replace seng with a dozen alliances. TSK. GATO. Does TLR still exist? God idfk.
  10. These alliances that sit behind their allies and ride their coattails into 'power' are the worst type of alliances. Seriously; every real alliance has a couple of these allies that you've just been allied to forever and they fucking suck. And I know you know they suck. But you want to keep them because they make you a bit more relevant. All they do is talk a big game and either let the threat of you bail them out or they do something seriously bad and you have to actually do some diplomacy to either bail 'em out or make sure y'all get on the winning side of that war. Isn't that boring? It makes more sense rolling them than the usual suspects (I mean polar&co and whoever has been rolled over and over, not the bloc -- mostly because I dont even know if that bloc exists anymore). Someone explain to me why you keep them. This topic inspired by recent posts by Nordreich and Sengoku.
  11. In before random people start spying MI6 and Sengoku in order to make them think each other did it.
  12. This is cute. http://imgur.com/MGvbdZx You guys spied first; everything after that post-an offensive declaration by you (or at the very least Pedro) on MI6. Now if you guys came to some sort of agreement and then MI6 spied on you; I'd be inclined to agree with you.
  13. Theirs grow faster just based on the fact that they have more of it. From every aspect (including most war strats; the ability to down declare and try and set your own staggers/PM-ing up front/etc.) a declaration by MI6 is the best move. It also establishes that you aren't a punk!@#$%* and it'll probably make people respect you a bit; even if they do continue to dislike you.
  14. 1000 tech according to Doom Kingdom
  15. Who wants to explain: Why MI6? I know, ironic coming from me. But from all accounts MI6 is a given target; don't hear much of why.
  16. Well there is a bunch of factors. 1) they are religious about aid slots. Tech is always going in. Other players have to pay for tech so the largest nations get a leg up this way. How do they get away with not paying for tech? Well sometimes they pay with donations, sometimes there are alliances who feel it is more beneficial for them to feed tech into a single nation perpetually to get one (or a few) super nations. The Legion actually started this practice 8 years ago by feeding a player by the name of "legionnaire" (who also PM every war but that was because they wanted the #1 nation on the Stat page). Overall though technically any nation can be as religious about tech slots. And to add to that, they also know a lot about the game (or know someone who does) so they can grow as efficient as possible. Again thought this is something anyone can do. 2) Donations. It's a good way to grow faster than those who have complete point 1. 3) Land. Huge swathes of land are take via GAs. There was a point around 200k NS where certain people realized a few won battles would steal enough land to even make a full round of retaliation nukes worth the raid. DBDC took full advantage of this and that's why you've seen the exponential growth instead of linear. 4) Good diplomacy. Going in and doing a couple GAs and leaving without retribution is an art. And one that TBR&co is very skilled at. I had more and a point but lost it.
  17. If you break his NS down he's over 1mill. Has been for a bit (week-ish) Coding issue as Franz said.
  18. You know you were rekt when I bothered to check in.
  19. You say good, I'd say desperate. I am much more removed though and your viewpoint is (likely) better. The appearance still is what it is though.
