What do you propose that this hypothetical UN do? i. We already have a forum for inter-alliance communication (i.e. exhibitions of varying degrees of competence). ii. The treaty system largely prevents small-scale wars from happening (of course, that point begs to open the complex can of worms that is the alliance legitimacy debate). You won't find many people, save for those in neutral AAs, that want to reduce the number of global conflicts. What are we left with? Humanitarian aid programs? That already happens (to some extent) between allies. Tech and military coordination? They've only tried that on various color spheres, never mind on a global level. Then again, maybe you can deliver us all from the chaos. I suggest a contest with the NPO.

How does a Francoist reconcile conflict to the end of "bringing order to chaos" if said conflict gives rise to precisely the antithesis of security from "war and fear" he so adamantly espouses? Or is it that the chaos of consolidation (i.e. bringing order) is for the greater good and thus deemed an acceptable - necessary even - form of chaos? I stumbled across Vladimir's essay, [i]The Morality of War[/i], and was hoping that it would answer this question. I'd love to hear a "modern" Francoist's answer. Edit: To clarify, I am not a so-called "moralist." I merely wish to understand as I may yet be swayed.

I think that this may have been a bit more effective had Brehon made the OP and left the substance-less banter to others. Forgive me, Honorable Emperor, but statements such as these, "So much to learn about me," and, "But that is fine you get to see soon enough these weren't just words," might have been better left unsaid. You and your alliance are - at least implicitly - promising an onslaught such as has been hitherto unseen on Bob. To that end, you must understand that some of the community will be skeptical regardless of what you say. You [the NPO] and your allies presumably have the force to back up this announcement, otherwise you would not have made it: don't cheapen that force with [i]wait and see[/i] responses.

1) I only have three offensive wars because no one was kind enough to attack me. 2) I was so excited to declare I got a little over-zealous and neglected to buy GCs until later. Didn't really hurt my chances. 3) I fired a nuke at one of my targets. It's kinda overkill when they've been bumped to 3k Hope this satisfies 1/6th of your inquiry.
