1. You were great allies to fight next to these past years FEAR. Best wishes in the future. May our swords again be drawn together somewhere down the road.
2. Just a comment. Kudos to you for giving solid, thoughtful answers and making your press conferences a lot more interesting than most. Wishing well to those on white.
3. Did Superfriends get the memo? I'm still getting attacked by them.
4.
You hit me once when i was on, I was able to buy troops but that turned it from a 6v1 to a 5v1, quite a bit after the update means crap due to my time area.
And you hit me when I wasn't on. I wasn't usually on at update and neither were you. I was just pointing out that your claim that we all quad you at update is not true as most if not all attacks aren't around update.
5.
Amusing, you alone did not do this, you had 2 other people be on at the update to constantly quad attack us. Any 1 on 1 fight to where my nation was before this I would have rolled you with ease. Someone needs to take care of this kid.
I'd have to go back and look at all the battle reports, but I haven't usually hit you right at update, sometimes quite a bit before or after.
6.
A quick look at the nations attacked puts the lie to this, I'm afraid. This nation started at perhaps 3400 NS (and with three active wars)...he was triple-teamed by three nations of higher NS. This nation was around 2000 NS; he got hit by a nation of close to 4000 (the latter has a second target, who is 10 days' inactive). I can keep going if you'd like, but there's no need to belabour the point. IA problems suck, but if your only excuse is that you have too many internal problems and inactivity to hit an alliance your own size, that's fairly sad.
Agreed. Both the Superfriends that hit me were a lot more than 250 NS larger than me when things started out.
7. The victors write history. It has ever been such. Glad to see this over.
8. Can't say a really have hated anything, as this is just a game. But a few things that I disliked the most were: Athens and company jumping us at Christmas. Stinks to log on after a day of holiday festivities to find out you've been hit by three larger folks and you have to spend time over the holidays trying to fight back as best you can between holiday activities. The whole split and feud between TPF, PC, etc. I was still relatively new when it happened, but I really thought it was unfortunate the way it all went down and the effects are still being felt, even if a lot of the major players aren't involved on either side. And the NEW cancellation on TPF really stung, as I recall when they left TPF to form NEW and were very close allies and went to war with us side by side in many conflicts. To echo an alliance mate, I don't see how they could have an issue with us after the amount of fighting we've been through the last year or so, especially in Karma. I went from 100,000 NS to almost nothing, and it was a common experience. Can't say I have liked gradually realizing the general silliness of much of the conduct and speech around here and how most folks blindly support whatever their side does.
9.
I assure you this will not affect GRE resolve.
Probably true. I was assuming some level of rational behavior. But, it'd be fun to see nonetheless.
10.
TOP tried that with MOTU, remember?
No. Not sure what that would have to do with knocking Ram down a peg or two though. It's easy to send others to their doom when you're sitting in comfort.
11. Someone ought to go hero and pull Ramirus down low enough for the feeding frenzy to overtake him and make him pay directly for all this nonsense. Maybe that'd knock a little sense into him? At least it'd be fun to see.
12.
They've not changed. You guys had your slate wiped clean in the Karma War, as far as STA is concerned, and ever since then, we've got no problems or issues with you whatsoever. You did mostly what we would have in your position in the War of Crazy Cluster@#$%ness. You're ok in our book. On a personal note, I was sad to see you retire. At one point, you were one of the great villains in this game, even if it is a title you didn't actually deserve.
Glad to hear.
13. This whole thing is just so odd. Just shows that any alliance can crater, regardless of how much they were respected at one time.
14. Best wishes to old alliance-mates and long-time allies.
15. Best wishes Peggy Sue. You'll do great!
16. Was TPF through the whole thing. Generally don't post much. [OOC] got married last July, so planning made me less active during that time [OOC]. I have to say, the level of PR on the OWF got to be so much from the Karma folks, that I stopped reading it for awhile before the war broke out. But they definitely had the PR advantage, so kudos there. That first night was crazy, trying to understand what was going on. Pretty upset about the initial bailing on the war, but very glad when we cleared that up and fought on. Fought a bunch of folks from NSO, MK, PC, and FoB, among others. Kind of lost track of all of them. The NSO and MK folks were very well coordinated and beat on me pretty good. Went from 10k infra to zero, lost maybe 5k tech, blew through a 800M warchest. Ate maybe 30 or so nukes. Finally slipped into peace mode at zero infra and warchest was shot. Really didn't like how the whole thing played out, with NPO botching the beginning, the TORN thing, the initial announcements from Continuum members, and all. But glad we stuck in there for a good while.
17. OBM is one of the old hands from TPF and I'm thankful for all he's done for us in his time with TPF. No surprise he's got a bit of a different perspective now that he's in MK. Always sad to see squabbles with old alliance mates. Good luck to WAPA in rebuilding. /0 TPF /0 WAPA /0 OBM
18. I have to say. NpO's behavior in this war is the single strangest thing I've seen in my time on Planet Bob.
19. Aint that the truth! I've been on Planet Bob for almost two years and I've never seen a sizable war that was remotely one to one. I guess there's just too many pixel lovers that jump to the perceived stronger side, if there was any doubt to begin with in a given war. But, I'm having a hoot, even though I've been blasted by quite an assortment of folks from MK, PC, and NSO.
20. Nice! Tepes sounds like my kinda guy.
21. Can't argue with the Siberian variety not being made of paper! And it's always good to have folks who have your back!
