Don't know how I missed it but no I didn't Stevie. You do know I try to avoid the OWF like the plague right? I am guessing that 105 posts in 7 years is not too much right? Of which 90% of those was probably arguing with Paul if memory serves me correct. You wouldn't be Paul's gf by chance would you DT? :P And you must have missed my post above Stevie as I explained how most of our MP nations got the MP and it was not because we missed the date. Just goes along with what I said in my last one about Stevie and I butting heads as he "suggested" we get the Pentagon also and we bought the CIA instead. I keep going against the grain with him long enough and then having my decisions turning out to be the right ones and even Stevie might start listening to me. :laugh:

You just can't seem to get any of your facts right can you my friend? Clash left the Warriors and the game before I even came into the picture at the Warriors. The same round that I created Defcon 1 (yes Defcon 1 was my creation for those history buffs out there, pm me for the true origin of Defcon 1) he asked me to please do him a big favor and take over the Warriors for him as real life was going to make it impossible for him to continue and he didn't want to see the Warriors name dragged through the mud in his absence. I declined the offer at first, as again for you history buffs, as I had just started Defcon 1 that very same round and we were the top alliance in the game at the time (strength wise that is). But after chatting with Clash for several days and talking it over with Government and Officers at Defcon 1 (which some really didn't think we should merge for the record) I told Clash I would do it as he and I had stayed good friends through out my entire time here in TE, just as I have with several alliance leaders, and I could understand where he was coming from and besides, what else are good friends for than to lend a hand when needed? I stood strong to my beliefs and such then and I still do so today. I will always do so no matter what alliance I am in, whether I am leading it or not as in case you haven't noticed honor means quite a bit to me and I have many, many friends here that will testify to that. If only you knew how many times now that Stevie and I have went at it already in our short time together it would most likely amaze you since you think of me as nothing more than a puppet. And for the record I have owned my own business now for more years than I can remember building a half million to a million dollar Log Homes and doing various other construction jobs so I am not now and nor have I ever been a "puppet" for anyone. Just ask Kaboom as he is a close friend of mine in RL.(and again for the TE history buffs he is the man that got me started playing CN back in 2007) Just saw him at Walmart not too long ago. You are basically saying that StevieG somehow either contacted or owns the store where WarHammer and I went to buy T&G roofing material for a home I am currently working on and that we would have to go to New York to get it? That he somehow knew that I would pick that store out of the 793,864 stores in this area that sell the type of flooring I wanted (2x6 T&G yellow pine that we use on the roofs as it also shows inside the home) and then somehow convince me to buy from him and then go even further and convince me to come and get it rather than have it shipped. He then somehow got Logan X sick and he had to have surgery so he would be gone for about the same time frame and then to totally insure that his master plan would come to fruition he offered Spidey a new job so that if he was caught playing CN there he could quite possibly lose that said new job thus making the odds pretty good that he couldn't be as active as he usually is for at least a couple weeks at a minimum. I am not sure exactly how he pretended to be me long enough to let my other guys know that I would be gone and to not war without permission from me. Perhaps you can shed some light on that one for me as it really has me stymied. Just because it doesn't fit in your fantasy scenario doesn't mean every one is lying to you. You just keep on making up shiat and then post in here that you have concrete proof it is true yet we never see any. How long have you been playing TE? I have been here since around round 3 or so and it didn't take me very long to see that there is no need to buy Wonders 2 seconds after update. Hell I have been buying them about 10 minutes before update for so long I don't even know when I started doing such. But what I do know is that the old "LE" guys that have been with me forever do exactly that also if they are update active like I am. Our plan wasn't to buy the MP or we would have had a Uranium trade set up beforehand now wouldn't we? (there goes your attacking OP theory huh?) Thus the reason we didn't buy the MP till the next day and even then we still didn't buy them until when? If you guessed 10 minutes or so before update then you got it right. I would be here for hours posting all of the stuff you have been dead wrong about but I think that people are starting to see the trend here with you so I can just mention one more besides the one above and we should be good. 1) Stevie planned for the war on TPC knowing that myself and most of my guys (and by most of my guys I mean the ex "LE" ladies and gents) would not even be around for it so it actually worked out pretty well all things considered since having the whole alliance attacking would be a HUGE down declare. Your starting this thread and the comments you have made above just goes to show who is the bigger man Top Gear. Just my opinion but King George III should be on his knees begging Cazaric to either come back or joining up with his alliance as that man has what it takes to make it in this game. He saw where KG3 was taking the alliance and he stood up and did something about it whereas he could have just went to another alliance. He didn't leave his alliance mates hanging. I can vouch for what Cazaric said about they have been trying to talk their leader about giving peace as Cazaric has been talking to me about it since the war started and even moreso after their leader made the post he did in here.

Yeah it is horrible that there are people running things these days that can fight like hell and then kick back and have a beer together once the war is over huh Paul? And possibly even have fun while doing both thus making the game more enjoyable to play. What a sad sad day it is when these things happen in TE. I am sure you are not alone in wanting to put a stop to these atrocities. On second thought, you probably are alone. So very very, very alone.

I think what you guys fail to see is just how hard it would be to have 20-40 new people joining your alliance every round. Hell HD has more new members every round than most of us have veteran members. Yet still he keeps on digging, round after round. The man has more fortitude than just about every other alliance leader in the game. Even though most of you do nothing but down him for it he still just keeps on playing and trying to help those in his alliance round after round to the best of his ability. And you guys wonder why the player base keeps getting smaller and smaller. If most new players read the posts in here before playing I would doubt if any of them would even want to play. And why is it that HD and his alliance is incompetent when you are not at war with them but their nation strength counts point for point when you are? I am having a hard time understanding that point system. All of us are guilty of doing it from time to time but we do need to remember that there is a person on the other end of these posts and even though HD always tries to be cheerful here in the OWF I can tell from some of the conversations that he and I have had that the things you guys say about him does sting quite a bit at times and makes it really hard for him to remain cheerful. I have talked to just about all of you in my time here in TE and tbh most of you just don't strike me as the type of people who would intentionally hurt another person over and over again as you have done in here to HD. You really didn't.

I find it kind of strange that you are penalized in SE for staying in peace mode too long yet there is no penalty for not fighting in TE. I thought TE was the fighting version of SE. I have seen multiple posts from people complaining about how much money some nations in TE have now a days and it seems to me that penalizing those who hardly fight in TE might be a step in the right direction to help with this problem seeing as how most get that cash from not fighting for prolonged periods of time. Which in itself should be unacceptable in TE. Depending on the round length you could make it after 10 days or so of non fighting your tax collections would be cut in half or something like that. I realize this might cause increased raiding of nations and I am not sure how to get around that one unless the penalty was for the entire alliance or something along those lines and not just based on individual nations.

It has been, without a doubt, a round to remember. With what little bit we have left we will try and go out with a bang. As always, TBRaiders and his crew, have led the charge. Force recon players that they are they wade chest deep into enemy territory with naught a thought for their own well being. They will be sorely missed if they decide not to renew their membership into round 30. I would like to thank all of the Warriors membership for their fortitude for round 29 as well as a shout out to most of our opponents for some battles we wont soon be forgetting. Hope for more of the same in the upcoming round. Thanks also to our newest government member, trs4ece, for posting this and I am sure he will be posting more in the rounds to come. Good round everyone and best of luck to all for round 30.

As of update tonight the war between the Warriors and Citadel will end. White peace has been reached between us.

Only got this far in the thread and thought the exact same thing as you posted above Nick. OWF has been way too quiet lately and I can't speak for anyone else but I didn't want to start a thread asking why as I figured what has happened in this one would happen in mine if I did. Having a little bantering back and forth is what makes the OWF threads fun to read but no one wants to post when all you do is get bashed for doing so. This could turn out to be a very interesting war, I will say that. With some good coordination I honestly think that Skaro and the Misfits could use their numbers to turn this around. I am gathering that Bomb doesn't think this to be so seeing as how the thread started out with his terms for peace in the first post. :o Regardless, best of luck to those on both sides and can you try and keep the radiation levels below -10 as my people burn easily. :blush:

Are those same people now curious about how almost the entire alliance got deleted? I would think they would be more curious about that than they would as to why our counter against a rogue alliance was both swift and decisive. There is absolutely nothing you could post in here Paul that would make me do anything less than praise my members for their actions in this recent turn of affairs. Are those same "many" now curious as to why you were worried about how hard and swift we countered on an alliance of "noob" rogues? If not then they damn well should be as it was the first time I have ever seen anyone take up for rogues in this game. Even curiouser (pretty sure that is not a word but I like it) is why you would refer to them as noobs. Or did you really think that it was just coincidence that they all had states as their nation and ruler names. Hell I am going to go out on a limb here and even say that "many" might also be curious as to how some of our guys were being successfully spied upon even though they had 90% odds on every nation in the United States alliance. What say you "many" on this recent turn of events?

Don't know how to take that comment as all I see on the war page is that instead of just a couple rogue nations now we have a rogue alliance in the game.

Semi retired or not it is good to see you back old friend. TE is like a drug isn't it and no matter how capable the hands it is hard to quit cold turkey without going through some kind of withdrawal huh? ;)
