  1. I like where this is going, congratulations on the promotions.
  2. o/ Maroonity o/ Slowly realizing this was posted Thank you for the acceptance. As always, it's good to be a part of anything maroon.
  3. Give thanks one and all for turkey brains.
  4. Let's get back to raiding, how's the guide working out for everyone? Any other additions for the guide? Too cute.
  5. Congratulations on three years of mayhem. Insert threat and conspiracy here: Leaves to conspire the theft of Goose's cane.
  6. Congratulations to both parties, less is definitely more when it comes to this announcement. An extra congratulations to Kyoto, who gets his name on the treaty with less than 1 day alliance seniority and not being in government. I can't help but be impressed.
  7. All our secrets! Oh noes and such. The cat is out of the bag, everyone now knows that Camerontech is a Canadian colony. Best of luck to the USN, thanks for all the good times.
  8. From the desk of The Brain One year ago, The Brain was founded. A virile group of Neurons formed an alliance in the maroon sphere via the corpus callosum, since last year Neurons have generated and others have succumb to alcohol poisoning, some neurons have revitalized while others were laid to waste by the subcranial hemorrhage of late July. Since the beginning of our existence, we have experienced a great deal of endorphin production. In the next year, we will go experience a great deal of the same. Life will continue for The Brain much as it has for the past year. I come to you today not only as a member of the Central Nervous System, but as a part of the entire neurologic structure of The Brain. Though we are not a democracy, we allow our members the freedom to make their own judgments, choose their own path and make their own assessments. This is in essence, our raisin bran. The Brain does not sign diplomatic agreements without careful thought and the appropriate level of lulz in order to bind ourselves with friends. The duty of an omnipotent government is to perform its function with the livelihood of the alliance in mind has its difficulties but when the well-being of The Brain is at stake there is no other option. The government of The Brain has protected and will protect all Neurons. We find ourselves under different pressures, we find the outside world is trying to influence our path and decision making. Our internal affairs and foreign policy are being meddled with by people who are not members of The Brain. This, I believe, is a severe breach of our sovereignty and a major threat to our future. We also find ourselves being threatened by individuals and their alliance, who disagree with our ideals. Let me be clear to those people, and they know who they are. You will not influence us, you will not change us. Every action we take will be our action, decided from within The Brain. The forces that continue to try to change and influence us, do so behind the cover of their alliances who use the rationale that despite the fact threats come to us from one of their three highest ranking, elected government members that they are not the stance of the alliance. We must be clear, we will not allow anyone to threaten our sovereignty and our way of life, any attempt will be futile. To others who hold no personal ill will towards us but have no idea who the heck we are, feel free to drop by our forum. One such Neuron has gone as far as to spread rumors of maroon unity, he's used every tool available and some that are unavailable to spread the message of Maroonity. Many of The Brain's members have learned to ignore him, but I will not. The Brain Alliance, you hold within your ranks a member who is trying to unite us. He is currently enacting a plan for SPAM throughout Bob. I give us a warning, if he is allowed to continue his behavior we will be forced to act. Although we have no idea if/when we'll be accepted into the Chestnut Accords, we are prepared to continue to harass those at the Maroonity forums until a decision is made. On behalf of the Central Nervous System Shane-o tl;dr We're one year old, we won't allow any Neurons to get curb stomped.
  9. Clearly CSN wasn't thinking when they signed this... clearly unadulterated passion. o/ CSN o/ Us
  10. Congratulations to both OBR and TOP, it's good to see OBR getting involved. Goes back to being uninvolved...
  11. Congratulations SLCB, keep up the good work.
  12. Congratulations to CSN, solid work. Goose probably never thought he would live long enough to see this milestone.
  13. It's good to see Cam back in the role where he belongs, he was born for being in the AC and for drinking beer in foreign countries.
  14. It's a shame it didn't work out for your alliance Destro. Best of luck with CSN, excellent choice.
  15. Let's please not make this thread about Freelancer, accidents happen. If anyone would like to discuss this further I am quite easy to contact. Congratulations to all CDT signatories. I wish you all peace, prosperity, and 4000 nukes.
  16. Here's to success for GSA. Fear2012 is a good chap. Obligatory hi to Xiao.
  17. Not really an issue with the substantial size of his warchest since the max he could loot is 1kk.
  18. Congratulations CSN, I'm jealous of your average NS but I'll have a greater amount of jealousy when you reach 1000 nukes.
  19. If you don't have anything nice to say... Congratulations to both alliances.
  20. Congratulations to our allies at SLCB and their allies, the remainder of the Stickmen. Though, in my mind, it is unfortunate that you've left maroon at least we'll always have the memories...
  21. Congratulations on a successful year to those I know in AB and to those I have not yet had the pleasure of meeting.
  22. Congratulations to our allies in SLCB, here's to continued success. Beer, etc.
  23. What most of maroon recognizes as the real reason for the treaty cancellation has not been acknowledged by the USN, hence the reason many are calling them out. Being that many of the leaders of the alliances in CA are former USN members, they are very familiar with the situation there and the potential drivers for the USN's decision. This has undoubtedly been used in the CA signatory alliance leaders reasoning on this issue, being slightly on the outside (not a CA signatory) I would say those who are advising leaders to stop questioning the USN haven't recognized why this drama is taking place.
