Was that the poll which described the 'hegemony' as liars, cheats and general scum despite some of our allies fighting on its side and KARMA as the angels of the universe who could do absolutely no wrong in the eyes of anyone and deserve a kiss on the cheek from everyone for their valiance? Yeah, when you tell someone who has had no interaction with any of the alliances you've talked about and the only details they're given are completely biased then those results cannot be taken as fact. Cora is but one in 3 of the leadership and 1/8 of the government. We've all disagreed with her at some point and I've at more than one time wanted her to step down so I can hardly be called her greatest supporter. Whilst this was a difficult decision it was unanimously voted on after a long discussion of the consequences and the pros and cons of each side. We democratically chose what we believed to be in the best interests of USN. You can't critisise USN for lack of communication when most of CA's leaders hadn't been on the maroonity board for months. The reason we have gone in Cora's preferred direction is because we too prefer it, we have a lot more communication with CDT than most maroon alliances and from these comments we made the right choice, we know who our real friends are. We had hoped that one day there would be an opportunity to rejoin CA as we're still a maroon alliance and always will be as long as I'm still in USN but from the replies of certain CA leaders and actions of others any vote to rejoin CA will definitely not get my approval. So well done, you drove away an alliance that many of you were apart of. You disagreed with our direction and pushed us even further away. Instead of talking you called us despicable and shameful. You are the ones who ought to be ashamed of yourselves.

USN values all of our treaties so withdrawing from any of them is always a difficult decision to make, this decision was especially hard due to the reactions it may cause and the partnerships it may unfortunately break but we thought it necessary to cancel the Chestnut Accords in the interests of everyone involved. The reasons for this cancellation have been given to our friends and fellow signatories in private channels. We remain committed to maintaining strong links to the rest of maroon through SPAM and the Maroon Economic Treaty and look forward to a day when we can once again be together in a pact of mutual defense but until that day we wish all of maroon good luck in the future - a future we very much still want to be apart of, just in a reformed capacity. it happened yesterday at about 11pm GMT. Changing my password now. although if my account was taken over it seems a bit far fetched that they would only delete 1 of every improvement.

I then looked at my nation and noticed my military levels angered my citizens and immediatly thought just to remove some as I'd stockpiled military to buy nukes the day before. I decomissioned some but it didnt fix the problem so I went to see how many citizens I had. A few minutes earlier I had 68k citizens but when I checked it had dropped to 63k. Inbetween all of this I was talking to an alliance member about border walls and if they would benefit my nation. I went to get a border wall and noticed that every improvement had been removed by a value of 1 (I had 5 clinics but now had 4, 1 Foreign Ministry but now 0, this happened to all my improvements). I first thought it was no big deal and bought the improvements again but had limited funds, the next day I collected and only received 900k which is a small portion of my daily earnings, I still havent recovered all my improvements so will have to earn below the normal amount tomorrow too.
