  1. Meth, Rota, there was never any intention of crippling/disbanding Riot Society through this raid. Really, we're just giving them a smack on the nose with a rolled-up newspaper and telling them to go play elsewhere. RS's existence alone isn't a problem for us, only their behavior regarding AZTEC and its allies. Assuming that this raid changes that behavior, there's no need to continue this, from our perspective. We're hardly the world police or anti-raiding.
  2. Not including Aurora Borealis and Umbrella? For shame.
  3. Yeah, you and your $566,383 warchest will be an absolute monster to bring down. Heaven help us, I don't know how we'll do it. But, hey, if you want to demonstrate Riot Society's incredible toughness, tell your five mid-tier guys to get out of peace mode. Can't brag about a holstered weapon.
  4. Sure, feel free to take this whole thing as another ego boost. After all, pissing off your former friends and their friends to the point that they all can't wait to take turns kicking your teeth in demonstrates that you're a strong alliance with a competent foreign affairs team. You should feel really great about your current position and what this means for the future of Riot Society.
  5. Yeah, you missed the part where you flipped us the bird with this thread title. If you're gonna play Poke the Bear, you better keep in mind the bear doesn't give a shit it's just a game.
  6. Pretty much what Sal said, yeah.
  7. If I were you, I'd do my best to poach OPERATOR, because he is/was the only redeeming thing about the last pony alliance.
  8. That's some real nice formatting you've got there. But it's an even nicer treaty.
  9. Tremendous. Congratulations to you both!
  10. Dammit Marx, I thought you disappeared into retirement. Gotta find you on IRC one of these days. And I agree, the only interesting thing about this whole situation was the reps at the end.
  11. And here I thought that this story couldn't get more depressing. Yikes.
  12. Regarding the first bolded section: It's obvious that Guinness was unprepared to fight a war at all levels, from government to membership. However, NSF alone still had a significant statistical advantage (although I think they had a disadvantage in terms of some of the nuke/non-nuke nation match-ups in the lower tier). If I were in NSF's position and I saw that my protectorate was imploding under the pressure, I would've told Guinness to head to peace mode and to stay out of it while handling the war myself. Regarding the second bolded section: Likewise, if I were NSF or Guinness's treaty partner and I saw that both alliances were imploding, I wouldn't have just sat back and waited to see what happened. If you have an ally and they're clearly in trouble, it's your responsibility as their treaty partner to reach out to them and to help. I just don't believe that if C&G (every member of whom was treatied to the losing parties here) had actually gotten involved, that they couldn't have gotten white peace for their allies. This was a failure of communication and effort. You keep emphasizing that all of this happened in a short timeframe. Realistically, you had three days (6/3-6/6) to step in. Before this broke out, there were a series of raids that you should have been aware of. As their allies, you should have been aware of that situation and you should have been prepared for the conflict to expand. I don't mean to blame all of this on C&G. Guinness is/was an ineffective alliance that absolutely shattered upon first impact. NSF's communication when it comes to foreign affairs and war is notoriously poor, and apparently their nations were entirely unprepared for any kind of conflict. I wouldn't blame C&G for preferring this war to be resolved quickly and peacefully. However, any amount of involvement from C&G's leadership in the peace negotiations would have resulted in white peace. Maybe NSF and the remnants of Guinness actively worked to shut you guys out of the process, I don't know. If so, well, it's pretty obvious what your next moves should be. It's ridiculous that I have to agree with Rotavele of all people, but I suppose that this is the world we live in now. Oh god, I forgot about that. I guess there's precedent here?
  13. NSF's allies in ODN and GATO, along with Guinness's ally in TLR, really couldn't get this resolved with white peace across the board? Ouch.
  14. Divum Formidor Article I: Peace Signatories will refrain from engaging in acts of warfare with one another. Article II: Intelligence Signatories will share any information which may affect the security or well-being of one another. Article III: War Signatories may enter any war alongside one another, but are not obligated to do so. Article IV: Cancellation Signatories agree to provide 72 hours notice prior to official cancellation. This treaty will remain active during that time. Signed for Aurora Borealis, Drake Spoke, Triumvir Jutopia, Triumvir Sarkin, Triumvir Signed for the Fellowship of Elite Allied Republics, Chancellor: Dcrews Vice-Chancellor: Krath Directorate: Lord Boris, ShouAS, Ovidsidos, Muddog, Canik
  15. Classic PNU-style diplomacy right here. So, Guinness is treatied with TLR, NSF is treatied to GATO and ODN. C&G gonna do something? Looking at how this war breaks down, it's gonna get pretty ugly for Guinness and NSF.
  16. Now you listen here, DT cowardly cancelled on RS just to save themselves from fighting the fearsome GATO war machine, so Rotavele's point still stands and you have no idea what you're talking about. Clearly. :smug:
  17. Sweet, congratulations to our allies in Umbrella and our friends in TSK!
  18. That's, uh, quite the assertion you've got there. Anyway, best of luck to GATO and our friends in TSK.
  19. You could work for a thousand years and still not come up with a greater understatement than that. Here, let me try: Tywin is not the brightest person or the most popular poster. How's that?
  20. It's called arousal. Don't worry, it's a natural part of growing up.
  21. Congrats on the new leadership.
