1. Reports continued to stream in of people disappearing without a trace during the night, usually near rivers and waterways. The commander of the Heer detachment in the south, General Howard Rosenberg, ordered soldiers to scour areas around rivers and waterways during the night, thinking the disappearances were the result of some serial kidnappers/murderers. In addition, citizens in the area were advised not to wander out of their house during the night, and especially not to go to any rivers after dark, in effect establishing a curfew of sorts.

6. The Reich recognizes the Dobbs Doctrine and hopes that Pravus Ingruo obeys it.
7. After reports came of problems with lizards in small towns across the country, particularly in the south, the Kaiser ordered troops to move to these towns to restore order, as well as figure out what was going on with the lizards that was causing so much trouble. The Kriegsmarine's ships were battered by the storms and some of the patrol boats sank due to their lightly armored structures. Meanwhile, the Luftwaffe was forced to ground all aircraft until the storms passed. As per the Kaiser's orders, 15,000 soldiers and 150 tanks moved into the towns in order to restore order and quell the chaos.

9. The Kaiser sat on a rather ornate wooden chair, dressed in his regular uniform and staring in the direction of a large black camera. Chancellor Bismark stood a way away, out of sight of the camera's lens, he was largely silent until suddenly he spoke up "Mein Kaiser, is all of this preparation REALLY necessary?" The Kaiser looked back at him and replied "Of course, why?" "Well, it's just that this is about a topic nobody else in the world pretty much cares about." "Herr Kanzler, I am the Kaiser of this nation, thus I can do whatever I wish, alright?" The older Chancellor glared at the Kaiser for the longest time before finally admitting "Alright." The man behind the camera commented "Um, Mein Kaiser, we are almost ready to go on." "Alright" the Kaiser quipped, crossing his legs. The countdown began: "In 5..." "4..." "3..." "2..." "1..." After the man said "1", the camera went live and the Kaiser smiled and said in a cheerful tone "Ah, hello, I am Kaiser Wilhelm of the Imperial Hudson Reich, a small country in North America! Now, as you may notice, our country has a rather long name, doesn't it? It's a hell of a lot easier to just address it by its abbreviation: IHR. Well, that has all changed now. Starting today, the Imperial Hudson Reich is now simply the Hudson Reich, there, easier to say, isn't it? It's abbreviation is HR and in German it's simply Hudson Reich! There, easy, huh? Now, if my broadcast interrupted a show you were watching, then I apologize for this inconvenience." He then cleared his throat and concluded "Now, I hope you enjoy your day, auf wiedersehen!" and with that, the camera was turned off and the broadcast ended.
10. *Private* Upon receiving news of the demise of France, the Kaiser sat in his chair and wept, mourning the loss of such an important power in Europe. Erwin Rommel, the highest ranking commander in the Heer (or Army) asked him "You okay, mein Kaiser?" "Ja" the weeping Monarch stated "I am fine" "Okay..." the Field Marshall stated before walking off *Public* The Reich is saddened by France's downfall, and the Kaiser weeps (literally) for the loss of such an important European power. We wish the Athenians luck in ensuring stability in peace in this once great nation.
11. Nation Name: The Imperial Hudson Reich Head(s) of State: Kaiser Wilhelm, Chancellor Otto Von Bismark Location and Territories: James Bay coast, Canada National Government Ideology (or an approximation): Constitutional Federal Monarchy Do you desire to pursue further relations with the Republic in the future?: Yes
12. The Reich congratulates the Scottish state's birth!
13. "It is good to hear that the FLQ has been defeated and their leaders are awaiting trial. At last, Disparu can rebuild without worrying about these fanatical Francophone !@#$%^&* trying to take their state down."
14. *Private* "Looks like Legion's getting pissy!" "Boy, I'll say!" *Public* We are surprised that Legion is being so hostile towards England for taking 11,000 prisoners and dealing with them in their own ways. Legion is getting worked up over nothing, prohibiting English shipping, deporting English citizens in the country, and shutting down diplomatic ties with England. THIS is what happens when a nation interferes in a continent it is not located on, as J Andres has learned with the invasion of its former European holdings.
15. Inside the spectacular Imperial Palace, a meeting was being held. Attending were the Kaiser, Chancellor, and most of the Ministers in the Cabinet. Their topic was on the spectacular events going on farther south, the strange storms, the mysterious volcano in Antarctica, and all the bizarre reports of crazed animals, witch doctors healing their patients, and all sorts of other bizarre happenings. "No, no, no!" barked the Chancellor, stubborn as usual "It's impossible, animals can't just go up and DO whackjob things like what these reports claim!" "Well, how do you explain that giant whale that sunk the Japanese whaler?" remarked Admiral Alfred Von Tirpitz, commander of the Kriegsmarine "Hell, they had to cancel that Sea Shepherds show, since the whales could take care of themselves!" "Good riddance! I never like that show, I'm more of an Ice Road Truckers man, myself!" remarked Jerry Wainwright, head of the Imperial Weather Studies Commission (or IWSC) "Shut up!" snapped the Kaiser, then turning towards the Chancellor and told him "Well, how do you explain the whole walking cacti thing in Arizona?!" "It's probably just panic reports" "Yeah, well, these "panic reports" claim that people are getting killed from these damn things!" "Ludicrous, cacti can't kill people!" "Then explain what's going on with the witchdoctors healing people down in Africa, huh?" "Simple: Devil's work!" "Oh my God..." facepalmed Minister of Foreign Affairs Karl Marlburg "Well, if you ask me, there's some crazy !@#$ going on further south, Mein Kaiser!" commented Bob Steelhead, commander of the Fighter wing of the Luftwaffe "Yes, there is!" snapped Wainwright "And it seems to be spreading north as we speak..." "When do you think this stuff's gonna hit the IHR?" queried von Tirpitz "I dunno, maybe a week or two, maybe." "What do we do, Kaiser?" asked Minister of Security Ed Thompson "Simple: We tell the people to hunker down in their homes and wait for this series of magical whatchamacallit to hit the Reich and see what happens then." "Sounds good to me!" commented Thompson "Well, this nonsense is probably from a series of severe storms or something, but eh, that sounds sensible." commented Chancellor Bismark "Good! Meeting dismi-" "But, Kaiser, do we declare Martial Law?" asked Marlburg "No, not yet, but when the storm systems reach us, then we'll declare Martial Law. Meeting dismissed." ----------------- Within hours of the meeting, Imperial broadcasts advised the citizens to hunker down in their homes and postpone any vacations around the country, and to stock up on food, weapons, ammunition, and other supplies, and wait for the inevitable arrival of the storms to reach Imperial soil.
16. We side with Cochin and China in this issue, and we hope these Dragon-worshiping maniacs are caught!
17. Guess it would be, great potential for humor it sounds like!
18. Ah, sure, sure! I think I may want to take the second route, the lizard mutating thing.
19. Official Imperial Announcement We see this as yet another episode in the Burgundians' mad schemes for power and dominance of northwestern Europe. These slimeballs have been up to no good for years. First, with their struggles with Aquitania for control of France, then their war with Wallonia, THEN the troubles between them and England, and NOW this. With all the heartache the Burgundians have been causing for years, it's high time their state is squashed and they never gain independence again. It is best for Europe if it ends this way...
20. So, is it possible for me to have sentient Lizards, or is that too far-fetched?
21.
Noted and claimed. What's your country's name again so I can document it? My apologies, I don't keep up with it all these days. Correct me if I am wrong, but I think it's Imperial Hudson Reich. Also, I would like to know how you are distributing your NS between any persona you may play and your nation.
Yes, it's the Imperial Hudson Reich and yes, I will be distributing my NS with a persona and my nation. The persona will be the Kaiser, Wilhelm.
22. Is this, much like normal CNRP, Humans only?
23. I hereby claim my own pathetic tiny country within Canada.
24. With the recent news of talks and the fighting ceasing, the Imperial troops posted in the southeastern sector of the IHR felt annoyance at the cessation of hostilities. Even more frustrated were the men shipped to Disparu, who were hoping to get some action in the conflict.
