5. To: Kaiser Patrick From: Kaiser Wilhelm I accept your offer of help. I'm in desperate need of any aid from other countries to help me bring down Bismark and his brainwashed followers. Your support may put me one step closer to this noblest of goals.
 6. Well, I've only been around since Fall of '09, so yeah...
 7. With the battle over, the HR troops began rebuilding the damages down to the town and the defenses, aided by the Disparueans. Meanwhile, Bismark's regime had other problems to worry about. Across the nation, towns and villages began to rise up in rebellion against his rule and were resisting with force. Bismark deployed about 15,000 men to crush these rebels, but the rebellion spread out across the state, it would be impossible for them to crush the rebellions quickly without great difficulty. Infuriated upon learning that his attack on Port Asbestos failed, he ordered a far larger assault on the town, this time with heavy air support to counter any Disparuean aircraft that would come streaking in to aid the defenders.
 8. The Bismarkist forces were surprised by the arrival of Disparuean aircraft, which began pounding away at the attacking troops and knocking the Cobras and Apaches out of the sky. After about 10 minutes of constant bombarding, the Bismarkists fled the area, heading back south, much to the relief of the defenders. The battle for Port Asbestos was over, but the struggle for power in the Reich was still ongoing.
 9. December 1st, 2010 City Hall, Port Asbestos 0635 Hours After the 3,500 Disparuean troops arrived in the town, the Kasier and what military commanders whom had defected to his side ordered defensive preparations to be made. Trenches were to be dug, makeshift pillboxes and bunkers were built, what artillery and armor were amassed in the town, the former to help pound the enemy and the latter to help with any counterattack that would be made. Roadblocks were established on many a street and road both in and and out of the town, and sandbag walls were erected so as to slow down the enemy. Finally, early on the morning of December 1st, the Kaiser received word that a force of 3000 of Bismark's troops, supported by armor, were approaching the town from the south. "So it begins..." he replied Once the enemy was close enough to the town, the defenders in that sector of the defenses opened fire on them. Riflemen, hiding in the trenches, undergrowth, and even in the trees sniped the enemy infantry at will, machine guns positioned in the pillboxes mowed down enemy soldiers, and mortar teams were blasting the Bismarkist troops to smithereens. However, the attackers were supported by armor, about 50 Panzer IV, M60, and Bulldog tanks, as well as by several Apache and Cobra attack helicopters, which began pounding the defenses. The defenders, lacking suitable weapons to defeat these threats simply hunkered down as they were being pounded by a better-equipped and better-trained foe.
 10. After receiving the message from Disparu, the Kaiser's spirits soared. He had heard that Bismarkist troops were approaching the town to seize the deposed monarch. He realized this was a perfect opportunity for him to seize back the country. So, he sent a message back to the Foreign Minister:
To: Foreign Minister Meridian of Disparu From: Kaiser Wilhelm I am grateful for your help. Indeed, the Chancellor is hell-bent on achieving his mad scheme. Hopefully, with your help, we can destroy his new regime and bring him to justice. Thus, I accept your offer of military and financial aid in my cause. I hope to hear from you soon.
11. November 25th, 2010 0134 Hours Port Asbestos After some time of trekking through the forests, the group found their destination: the town of Port Asbestos which, contrary to its name, was actually located along a river and was not a port city like Hamburg. Upon arrival, Wilhelm asked "Is there a TV station nearby?" One man nods and replies "Yes, there is one, kinda small compared to the one in New Berlin, but..." "Escort me there, now!" the Monarch demanded "But it's the dead of night, it might be-" "NOW!" "Oh, okay! Fine..." the man grumbled as he escorted the Kaiser to the TV station. After reaching it, they get in and convince the remaining staff to broadcast a special speech by the former Kaiser himself. The cameras were readied and the broadcast soon began. The Kaiser, seated in front of one of the cameras, smiled and began his speech: "Good evening, ladies and gentlemen of the world! I am Kaiser Wilhelm of the Hudson Reich, or at least I was. I was deported by the Chancellor after he declared himself ruler of the Reich and his men escorted me to a prison. However, I escaped thanks to the heroic efforts of local citizens, who then escorted me to the town of Port Asbestos, which is where I'm broadcasting from right now. Now, I hereby condemn Bismark's coup and plead the nations of the world do something about his new regime and help me restore power. Undoubtedly, Bismark's men will have heard of my message and will try to attack the town to capture or kill me. Thus, I hope something happens that will prevent them from destroying a peaceful town to get to me." "Now, Bismark, if you're watching this message, then I'll see you in hell. Goodbye!" and with that, the message stopped. The Kaiser was then escorted to the Mayor's House, where he'd stay until further notice. Now, all he had to do was wait for the international reaction.
 12. November 24th, 2010 Isolated road in middle of snow-covered forest 62 miles north of New Berlin 2205 Hours When the Kaiser came to, he noticed that the buildings of New Berlin were gone and were replaced by coniferous trees. It was then that he realized that he had been out for a while. Wilhelm looked behind him and noticed that the car was being followed by an Army truck, its headlights shining into his eyes, forcing him to shield them with his right arm. He looked back forward, just in time to see a large tree blocking the road coming into view of the car's headlights. The driver, a soldier wearing winter camouflage, growled "Dammit! Frikkin' tree's blocking the road!" The passenger, also a soldier in winter camo, complained "Great, NOW how are we gonna get the Kaiser to Weimar Prison?" "I don't know..." the driver replied and with that, he got out of the car and walked up to the tree. The other man did the same. The two men stood there staring at the tree and grumbling of what to do. Suddenly, a gunshot rang out and a fountain of blood exploded out of the side of the passenger. Screaming, he collapsed to the ground, blood spurting onto the snowy road. The driver stared on in horror as he watched his comrade collapse to the ground dead. Then, a second gunshot rang out and the driver fell backwards, a small spurt of blood coming out of his forehead, and his helmet flying off his head. The Kaiser was surprised by the two soldiers dropping dead by that and he looked around, trying to see where the shots came from. He noticed several figures amidst the trees to his right approaching the road, and then saw soldiers coming out of the back of the truck behind him rushing out towards the figures. And that's when all hell broke loose. The figures in the forest opened fire on the soldiers, killing a number of them, who fired back. Wilhelm could see some of the figures fall from the gunshots. However, the figures manage to defeat the soldiers, who were all soon either dead or wounded. The figures ran up to the road and that's when the Kaiser could see them more clearly. The ambushers were little more than civilians wielding various weapons and dressed in winter clothes. One man, wearing a red flannel coat and red flannel winter hat, walked up to the Kaiser's Mercedes and opened the door, saying "Ah, Kaiser! We thought you were a goner after Bismark took you away!" Getting out of the vehicle, Wilhelm asks "How the hell did you find out about me?" The man replied "We saw the Chancellor's announcement, he's dissolved the Monarchy and is making himself Dictator." "Oh God, this is a nightmare!" The man nodded and then replied "Now, come on, we've gotta get outta here before more of Bismark's men show up!" The Kaiser did as the man instructed, though he began shivering in the cold, to which, the others wrapped him in a blanket. "Danke!" the grateful Monarch replied as he followed the the men back to their hometown, traversing through the freezing forest.

Furthermore, we shall continue to recognize the Kaiser-led government, and gives the insane Chancellor three days to surrender and restore the monarchy." 16. November 24th, 2010 Imperial Palace, New Berlin 1845 Hours The Kaiser was sitting at his desk, filing through papers, sighing at how boring his position was. He looked through the papers on his desk, sighing again as they were all about various unimportant things like taxes, expenses, and such. Wilhelm shook his head, for in his mind, he thought nothing much happened in the Reich, this tiny country in North America, largely unnoticed in the world. He thought to himself that this was as good as it got, for the Reich was indeed a tiny country, and it would remain that way, long into the future. His thoughts were interrupted however by a knock on the door. He looked up and stated "Come in!" The door then opened and there stood Chancellor Bismark, however, he was not the jolly old man he usually was. Instead, a nasty glare had formed on his face, his icy blue eyes staring right at the younger Kaiser's direction. And he was not alone, for surrounding him were several soldiers armed with rifles. The Kaiser asked in a curious tone "Herr Kanzler, what is the matter? Why do you look so nasty tonight?" Bismark's only response was to point his index finger straight at the Kaiser. The soldiers then raised their rifles and pointed the barrels right at the Kaiser, looking like they would shoot him at any moment. Wilhelm's eyes widened with surprise at this, and then that look gave way to one of anger. He shouted "Herr Kanzler, what is the meaning of this?!" Otto smiled and chuckled as he began walking into the room, before saying "Don't you get it?" "Get what?" the Kaiser asked "That you harness the power, and I am just a figurehead in this government?" The Kaiser replied "So? What's this have to do with that?" Bismark simply replied "Come on, you know what I'm talking about." Wilhelm thought for a moment before asking "You- you want all the power in the government?" Otto nodded "Yes, you catch on quick, Wilhelm..." The Kaiser gritted his teeth at the Chancellor referring him by his name instead of as "Mein Kaiser". He knew in his head that Bismark craved his own downfall. He asked "You wish to get rid of me, don't you?" Otto nodded in response and then said "Yes... for too long have I had to deal with you ruling the government, instead of me being the one having the power. I wish to reign as supreme ruler of the Reich, taking it to far greater glories than it had under your lazy rule." "How can you do that, when we're a multiparty constitutional monarchy?" Bismark smiled sinisterly, then replied "I'll ensure that would be out of the way, once I have disposed of you..." he then turned towards the soldiers and ordered them "Arrest him" pointing towards the Kaiser. They nodded and approached the Monarch, who stood up out of his chair, glaring at Bismark as the soldiers surrounded him, pointing their weapons at him. He growled "You are no better than Hitler." Raising an eyebrow, Bismark replied "Perhaps... but I have something he did not: Sanity." "Your schemes are insane!" Wilhelm protested The soldiers' response was to grab him and beat him in his lower torso. The Chancellor than ordered "Take him to the car awaiting out front, you know where it's heading." The soldiers nodded and thus dragged him away out of the room.
Later, the Chancellor sat on a chair in his office, staring at a camera that would broadcast the message he was about to deliver live. Finally, it began broadcasting, so Bismark began: "Hello citizens of the Reich, I am sorry to say that the Kaiser was overthrown, due to difficulties I had encountered with him. As such, I am dissolving the Monarchy and indeed the Reichstag as a whole. From now on, I am the supreme ruler of the Hudson Reich. Those who speak out against my new regime will be exiled out of the country, while those who are utterly loyal will be rewarded greatly. Thus, I hope great prosperity is ensured in our state. Now, good night, and Gott mitt uns!" And with that, the broadcast ended. The Chancellor's speech was short, but it delivered its message perfectly.
Meanwhile, the Kaiser was finally dragged to the outside of the Palace towards a mid-90's Mercedes Benz, whose right rear passenger door was open. The soldiers dragging him then threw the Monarch into the car, and when he tried to get up, he turned towards the door and it was then that a soldier hit him right in the face with the butt of his rifle, knocking him back down onto the cushion. As he began to lose consciousness, he could hear someone tapping his hand on the roof of the car, and then felt the vehicle moving as it began to go down the straight and take the now-deposed Kaiser God knows where. He could feel that he was bleeding a bit, though it wasn't too bad before he finally passed out as the car continued down the street.
