Karl Martin's Achievements

 1. Königsberg A somewhat aged man looked out the great harbor. Hanse had become one of the leading express logistics, right behind DHL Express in terms of revenue, and he, the second CEO, had led it to greatness. It was an honor to have been able to achieve what the first CEO had been unable to achieve, because of the turblent world affairs. He turned from the window and opened a safe in the safe behind his desk. Léon Joseph Marie Ignace Degrelle, former Prime Minister of Burgundy, took out three crowns from the safe. Barely surviving several nuclear strikes to protect these treasure, he would now move them to Potsdam, where the holy lineage will be continued, on to the next generation. OOC: Open only to myself. OOC comments of a non-hostile nature will be tolerated. Also, got Martens to remember a certain promise, which results in this roleplay.

 3.
The following territories have voted to join the Kingdom of Ireland. 1. Alsace 11. Lorraine
"Unless Ireland has annexed German territory, we have to say that the referendums in the areas in question (the departments of Moselle in the case of Lorraine)must be pure propaganda." - From Straßburg and Metz OOC: Yes, those happen to be German land.
 4.
Yeah, I guess. Doesn't help that people were gobbling up North America and central Asia, both historically being bastions of free space for new players to set up shop since South America, Europe, and Oceania were filled up. Now, we have people claiming territory in Africa for their nations.
Who are you to know that information about Central Asia? Suspicious.
 5. Let's face it, SoI has next to no place in CNRP, where all you need to do is start somewhere and then have friends give you all the land you want. In an attempt to change this, I have come up with an idea. CNRP SoI Suggestion 1. Territorial land, open ocean territorial water, and protectorate are limited to your SoI Unit. 2. SoI Unit: (Miles of purchases* + Miles of growth) x 1,000 square kilometers * (1) 0~5,000: 100% (2) 5,000.001~ 10,000: 75% (3) 10,000.001~ 15,000: 50% (4) 15,000.001~ 20,000: 25% 3. Players with substantial land in a region may lend their leftover SoI unit to allow people to keep land adjacent to the player's terrotiry 4. GMs may issue temporary waivers for territories in times of alliance wars. Protectorates are not covered by the waiver. Let the discussion begin.
 6. A small group of people showed up in Berlin, petitioning the Triumvirate Leadership of the Germanic Union for the de facto independence of a certain region. It was a strange place, both German and non-German, both wishing to be part of Greater Germany yet also wishing to be separate. The petition asked for this region to be of, but not within, the Germanic Union, as a protectorate where the people could run their own affairs. The people waited for a response.
 7. A message was delivered to Ireland from a certain Charles Martin. *To the King of Ireland Would it be possible for an independent Burgundy to be formed?* OOC: Why hello again. Also, closed.
 8.
Indeed, which is why this case was so quickly acted on. ishabad essentially came on IRC and said 'hey guys, anyone want my land?' The transfer between ishabad and Fizzy had absolutely no RP behind it. As for obscure multi-lateral treaties... well lets just say that any transfer that is found questionable by one of the GMs or is brought to our attention by another RPer WILL be looked into on a case-by-case basis... Like, I'm almost glad that ishabad did this stupid transfer the way he did... I mean, it was so blatant, how could anyone accuse us of GM- -bias... oh brother...
I am very happy with the assurance. I hope that PM RPs are also included in this blatant examples.
 9. Léon Joseph Marie Ignace Degrelle, former Prime Minister of French Burgundy, sipped his coffee under the bright sun of Monaco. Bitter was the taste, just as life had been bitter to him. His lord was dead, and an Independent Burgundy gone. But, why was he here? To keep things going. Everything had a legacy, and it was his duty as the servant of the his Lord to continue on the work. OOC: With Californian's permission.
 10.
I do not understand what you mean by this. It clearly states in the Map thread that OOC gifting of land, which is what ishabad did to Fizzydog is strictly prohibited.
Everything by extension is OOC. You need to define that more clearly, mate. Take Burgundy and Belarus, for example. I worked for Greater Germany because I believe in it. Anyone can argue that it was OOC land gifting, since I considered it my mission. But then wehave different backgrounds for the two nations. In the case of Burgundy, I gave away land that had been German in this RP for almost the entire time except for when Welish Empire, Normandy, and the Sixth French Republic had it. Because of the close and extensive RP, I could easily argue that it was a legitimate land transfer. However, in the case of Belarus, I had to BS to get Germans into the country to get what I need. This is verging on OOC, since I did twist RP to do this. A clear definition of OOC gifting needs to be given. My stance is that unless there had been extensive relations between any two countries (having bilateral MDPs, cooperation, and other such things) in the past or there had been a justifiable history (like Germany having Alsace for most of CNRP), no one should be allowed to BS sudden RPs or rely on obscure, multilateral treaties that no one remembers (like AUP or Bangkok Treaty) to transfer land. The recent giveaway of Lousiana is a good example of the first example, since Yawoo had had extensive relations to HAE, JA, and other such countries. France is also a good example, since it is a member of the Med Congress. Good examples of the second situation would be the recently banned transfer, those stupid transfers in Asia during the summer, and Japan's giveaway of Micronesia and Taiwan. GMs, you have done well with the ruling. I hope bias is not permitted when another such transfer based on flimsy RPs is done by people who are friends of the GMs.
 11. The Passing of a Great House Friedrich Wilhelm von Hohenzollern, King of Prussia and the Netherlands, was found dead in his hospital room. The cause of death has not been made public, but it is believed that he had not survived surgery. The passing of the King meant that the House of Hohenzollern had come to an end. Friedrich Wilhelm had been the sole remaining member of the House of Hohenzollern following the death of his father, and with this, only three old families still survive: The Houses of Romanov, Saxe-Coburg and Gotha, and Habsburg. Many across Germany mourned the death. A controversial figure due to his father's legacy, he still commanded respect from North Germans who saw him as the embodiment of the stern, uncompromising soldier of old. The founding family of the Iron Kingdom, and of the Second Reich, was what much of Germany wanted to restore. Yet now the twilight had come, and the flames of loyalty snuffed out. The funeral was a grand affair, with a procession that wound through the streets of Königsberg before heading toward the shores of the Baltic. Hundreds of thousands, if not millions of people attended the cortege and flowers were thrown across the streets in such numbers that several days were spent cleaning up. Behind the cortege, the great and the good of the Prussians travelled in open-top jeeps, whilst the Preußische Eiserne Brigade contingent marched for the Armed Forces. When the cortege arrived by the boat for final sendoff that had been built on the shore, the entire Königsberg Flight wing, of over 200 fighter planes flew in tight formation over, red and black smoke streaming out from canisters mounted on the side of their wings whistling as they went. Words were spoken, by several notables, eulogising the great man and a silence descended as the coffin was placed into the boat, which was towed out to a kilometer from the shore. At this point, the wooden ship was shot at by a lone diving fighter that had been painted black for the occasion, incendiary rounds tearing into the material, and setting the ship - packed with flammables - alight in a fierce combustion, that cremated the remains of the last Head of Hohenzollern in a spectacle. The roar of the crowds, those who could see anyway was immediate, as the fighter wheeled around and flew toward the city and the airport. The flames continued to burn for about an hour before the ship, finally sank. The ashes of Friedrich Wilhelm von Hohenzollern were interred in the cold waters of the Baltic Sea, the precise spot unknown to any except the lone pilot, whose identity has never been revealed.
 12.
...really? That's all I have to say. ...really? Quit letting your OOC belief that Zoot is a 'Bloody nationalist puppy' (that doesn't even make sense) get in the way of the RP. If you're going to quit, then send your surrender to the English and Wallonian forces IC.
Check the initials for 'Bloody Nationalist Puppy'. More importantly, do you think any "Burgundians" or Germans woudl surrender to either the English or Walloons? They would not.
Wow, Karl, you are by far the worst RPer ive come across, and Ide put money on they community backing me on this one. You have surrendered OOC, by running away from it. just "Burgundian forces surrender to the allied forces of Legion Wallonia and England" and its done, nice and simple.
Let's get down to it, then. You are the one who bragged that you shall be the one to execute my leader.
if your "hanging up your hat" and retiring then surrender ICly and nothing more will be said. Martens has your main leader Friedrich Wilhelm von Hohenzollern and he will be extradited for England and will face trial and eventually will be executed. Your island is locked down aerially and navally so none of your other Hohenzollern can try and escape, and they will face trial and execution aswell. You dont need to post a defence of your characters in your trial, five nations are bringing charges forward so theres no way out of it. Failure to post an ICly in the war thread "Operation Crusade" will mean an auto lose.
What I am doing is denying you the very thing you have been working for. If that had not come to your mind, then you are even worse than I thought you were.
Well, isn't that the pot calling the kettle black.
Is not pot supposed to be green? Give me some while you are at it. This is my final post on Bornholm. Ignoring all others from now on.
